Abstract: A contractor knee pad designed for long-term comfort when working kneeling on the ground or on the floor. The kneeling work pads of the invention have a hard inner core and a comfortable outer sheath which protects the contractors knee from the inner core, a wide elastic webbing may be stretched across the back of the wearer's leg from one side of the kneeling work pads to the other. In order to provide uniform tension, a zipper is employed, the zipper of the wide elastic webbing closes downward, that is, the opposite to the most common direction. Optional strips attach to strip anchors actually on the front of the contractors kneeling word pads, which are simple studs so that the strips may be put over the stud to be held in place and no part of the attachment reaches to the back of the device.

Abstract: Described is a wearable palm protecting band that encircles the hand to provide protection and grip to the palmer aspect of the hand. The band allows a user to quickly position the band into a “use-position” to provide protection and grip during physical activity and then just as quickly position the band back into a “non-use-position” such as over the wrist. In some embodiments, the band may also double as a sweat absorber (e.g. similar to wrist band) when in the non-use-position. The materials used in the band may not be uniform and different parts of the band may have specific materials for providing grip/protection and sweat absorption.

Abstract: Waterproof, breathable garments and methods of making are provided. The garments may include a laminate of a seamless ePTFE membrane and at least one textile. The garment is conformable over a range of sizes, and may be shaped to fit numerous sizes and shapes of forming molds. The ePTFE membrane may shrink to fit, or, alternatively, be stretched to fit, a mold having a desired size to form a garment. Such a conformable ePTFE membrane may allow for forming multiple sizes of garments with various sizes and shapes of molds. In embodiments where the ePTFE membrane is seamless and continuous, the garment eliminates the need for a waterproof seam tape, which is conventionally used to make garments waterproof.

Abstract: A method for selecting clothing includes a computer that processes markings and produces a three-dimensional mathematical model of the body of a subject, which is input into a database using an identification number pertaining to the same. The database is accessible by the buyer, the seller and the clothing manufacturer. The method is applicable for selecting clothing for humans, and also for animals. Standard-shape graphical elements are applied, in a regular pattern, to an elastic covering which is worn on the body, and the relationship between the elements is used as a basis for forming a three-dimensional model of the body. Models of clothing, which correspond to the parameters of the three-dimensional model of the subject, are selected from clothing databases. A consumer receives, on the screen of their computer, three-dimensional images of their body in the selected clothing models.
