Abstract: A 3D printer (1) capable of real-time adjusting printing time and real-time printing method of using same are provided. The 3D printer (1) includes a tank (11) for containing liquid material (2), a printing platform (12), an illumination unit (13), a temperature sensor (14), and a processor (10). Before printing, the processor (10) obtains an initial temperature from the temperature sensor (14). When printing, the processor (10) obtains slicing information of one cured layer, and activates both the printing platform (12) and the illumination unit (13) to create a slicing object of the cured layer based on the slicing information. Next, the processor (10) instructs the 3D printer (1) to wait, and senses the current temperature of the liquid material (2). The 3D printer (1) performs steps to create a 3D model after determining that heat of the liquid material (2) is dissipated.

Abstract: A 3D printer (1) capable of dynamically adjusting printing time and dynamical printing method of using same are provided. The 3D printer (1) includes a tank (11) for containing liquid material (2), a printing platform (12), an illumination unit (13), and a processor (10) for storing time tables (101) each recorded with relationships. The relationship is between an illumination density and waiting times at different temperatures. When printing, the processor (10) obtains slicing information of one cured layer, and activates both the printing platform (12) and the illumination unit (13) to create a slicing object corresponding to the cured layer based on the slicing information. Next, the processor (10) calculates an illumination density also based on the slicing information, and searches the time table (101) for obtaining a corresponding waiting time. The 3D printer then waits for the waiting time, and thereafter performs steps for a next cured layer.

Abstract: A composite can include alternating layers of a first layer including a 2D material and a second layer including a polymer matrix. Fabrication methods can take a thin layer of molecular thickness and construct large composite stacks that scale exponentially with the number of processing steps. An analogous shear scrolling method can create Archimedean scroll fibers from single layers with similar scaling. These methods can produce materials that demonstrate the ??? limit while combining electrical and optical properties minimal volume fraction of the filler.

Abstract: Method and apparatus for coating selected regions of a surface of a substrate with a film are disclosed. A cyclically moveable transfer member has an imaging surface which is coated with individual particles formed of, or coated with a thermoplastic polymer, and substantially all particles that are not in direct contact with the imaging surface are removed so as to leave a uniform monolayer particle coating on the imaging surface. Selected regions of the imaging surface are exposed to radiation to render the particles tacky within the regions, and the coated imaging surface and the substrate are pressed against one another to cause transfer of only the particles rendered tacky in the coating, such that the transferred particles form a film on the substrate. The monolayer on the imaging surface of the transfer member is replenished with fresh thermoplastic particles and the cycle repeats.
