Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for opting-out of targeted advertising in online advertising environments. One method includes receiving an opt-out verification request, the opt-out verification including an IP address of a user device and HTTP header fields of an HTTP request of the user device; determining a geographic area of the user device based on the IP address of the user device; accessing an opt-out database having entries of user devices that opted-out of receiving targeted advertising based on at least one HTTP header field of the HTTP request; determining whether the user device has opted-out of receiving targeted advertising based on the determined geographic area of the user device, the HTTP header fields of the HTTP quest, and the entries of user devices of the opt-out database; and transmitting a verification acknowledgement when the user device is determined to have opted-out of receiving targeted advertising.

Abstract: A method for sharing information has an assertion associated therewith such that the receiving communication device is able to verify the assertion without the sender revealing underlying data demonstrating the validity of the assertion. The assertion is derived from underlying data input to a pre-provisioned first algorithm. The assertion is encapsulated in a first data object by a PGE that controls an environment in which the first algorithm is executed. A first proof is generated that is configured to verify that the first algorithm used the underlying data to produce the assertion when provided to a PVE along with the first data object. The underlying data is excluded from the first proof and the first data object such that privacy of the underlying data is maintained. The information, the first proof and the first data object are sent to the receiving communication device from the sending communication device.

Abstract: An approach is provided in which a system determines a set of message properties corresponding to a set of products based on product data analysis. The system then identifies a set of user properties of users based on analyzing social media data corresponding to the product data. Next, the system identifies a set of candidate customers from the set of users based on analyzing the set of user properties against the set of product data. In turn, the system generates a set of target messages that are tailored to a combination of candidate customer properties corresponding to the set of candidate customers and the product data.

Abstract: The disclosed systems and methods improve on the current landscape surrounding autonomous “programmatic” advertising. The systems and methods incorporate an open source library that advertising publishers can deploy as an auction clearinghouse, setting a universal timeout and comparing all of the responses before sending the winning bids to the publisher's ad server. As an improvement, the present invention further stores the meta data associated with a winning bid on a specialized network for conducting asynchronous communications. This stored or “historical bid data” is then used to improve the speed, efficiency, profitability, and yield of online advertising. In addition, while traditional methodology for pre-bidding only benefits the publishers, the present invention suggests systems and methods wherein users and publishers may participate and be compensated for providing targeted bid data through either FIAT or cryptocurrency.

Abstract: Original concepts obtained from a query may be augmented with additional concepts connected to the original concepts in a concept graph in response to determining that the original concepts did not match a sufficient number of bid functions. The augmented set of concepts may then be evaluated with respect to the bid functions to identify matching ad functions. This process may be repeated until a sufficient number of matching ad functions are found. A bid amount of the matching bid functions may be calculated, such as based on semantic information obtained as a result of the query. The bid amounts may further be based on environmental information. A bid function is selected based on the bid amounts and the content associated with the bid function is provided to the source of the query. The content may be selected based on the semantic information.

Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for optimizing an online advertising campaign both before the campaign begins, and dynamically during the campaign. Optimizations are performed comparatively between a plurality of MPs (Media Properties) based on their relative cost-per-engagement. Comparisons are performed by first stack ranking MP inventory including any of sites, feeds, and verticals, based on cost per engagement. Once ranked, scores are assigned to the targeted inventory and a mean score is determined. Then, the inventory is rated as high, normal, or low impact based on their scores compared with the mean and a standard deviation for all scores. Higher impact sites with scores at least a standard deviation above the mean are initially favored, and the MP targeting strategy is dynamically adjusted during the campaign based on periodically re-evaluating the MP rankings, frequencies of engagement, and campaign progress relative to fulfillment in an allotted run time.

Abstract: A novel electronic system for third-party service portal-initiated garment service bag creation, distribution, volumetrically-standardized pricing, and matchmaking of professional garment cleaning is disclosed. The novel electronic system physically issues and electronically tracks volumetrically-standardized online garment service bags that are shipped to potential customers, who can then utilize such service bags to load garments at volumetrically-standardized fees per service bag and transport to a plurality of independent local garment cleaning service providers subscribed to the third-party service portal.

Abstract: A connectivity hub server facilitates interactions between processors associated with multiple entities participating in the purchase and sale of goods and related coverage services. Minimal customer data is input through a customer client device and is used to retrieve additional customer data from one or more third-party data sources. Received customer data is analyzed to determine a level of sensitivity, and data items having a sensitivity level exceeding a threshold are obscured on the display of a dealer processor. The connectivity hub server queries one or more coverage provider processors and provides for display on the customer client device available coverage options received from a subset of the queried processors. Responsive to the customer selecting an available coverage option, the connectivity hub server opens a direct communication channel between the customer and selected coverage provider.

Abstract: A method and system for managing and automating the classification of non-purchase order invoices for organizations. A centralized server applies rules to properly apply general ledger account coding for invoices based on data contained in the invoice. The server then electronically routes the invoice for approval to the appropriate approvers in the organization. In the absence of rules, the system applies machine learning to learn the correct rules, to be applied the next time said invoice is received and processed.

Abstract: Techniques are described for using a distributed ledger system (DLS) to manage transactions such as the trading of assets between entities. In some implementations, a platform provides a mechanism in which multiple institutions can participate in a dark pool for trading assets. The platform employs a DLS to support a dark pool that provides data privacy to the participating institutions, anonymity to the trading entities, data security, immutability, and transparency for auditing and regulatory compliance. Through a dark pool supported by a DLS, multiple institutions can benefit from a shared dark pool, thus increasing the number of parties who can participate in the trading activities, increasing the quantity of assets available to be traded, and increasing the likelihood of matching seller(s) to buyer for a particular trade. The DLS ensures that the information in the dark pool is kept secure and confidential, through homomorphic encryption and/or zero knowledge proof.

The overall risk score is an integrated score encompassing multiple categories of risk. The multiple categories of risk factors include multiple definitions of what defines risk, allowing for a synergistic effect between the risk analytics, where the overall effect of the combination is greater than the sum of the effects of any one definition of risky behavior by a provider or member. Utilizing this approach a unique risk profile of healthcare providers and members is generated and visualized to the user. Various embodiments further encompass a user interface that comprises linked panels that display targeted information regarding providers and members.

A diversified pool of assets for securitization is created by approaching a desired ratio between the first pool revenue stream and the second pool revenue stream. An alternative method using predetermined minimum revenue amounts is also included.

The data may include a unique identifier (UID), a usage value, an activation value, a reprocessing value, and/or a sterilization indicator. The usage value is incremented when the device is connected to the energy source and the activation value is incremented when the device is activated permitting energy to flow from the energy source to the device. Usage of the device is prevented if the UID is on a list of prohibited UlDs, the usage value is not lower than a usage limitation value, the reprocessing value equals a reprocessing limitation value, the activation value equals an activation limitation value, and/or the sterilization indicator does not indicate that the device has been sterilized since its previous usage.

Abstract: With rapid population growth and urbanization, emergency services in various cities around the world worry that the current transportation infrastructure is no longer adequate for large-scale evacuations. This disclosure considers how to mitigate this issue through infrastructure upgrades, such as the additions of lanes to road segments and the raising of bridges and roads. This disclosure proposes a MIP model for deciding the most effective infrastructure upgrades as well as a Benders decomposition approach where the master problem jointly plans the upgrades and evacuation routes and the subproblem schedules the evacuation itself.

Abstract: Disclosed is a method for identifying, in real time, a transportation arrangement between a requestor and a provider that could benefit from a re-matching of the requestor with another provider. A system may match a provider with a requestor to complete a request for transportation from the requestor. The system may monitor a progress of the provider to a pickup location as specified in the request. Based on the monitored progress, the system may determine if the provider is making sufficient progress towards the pickup location. In some examples, the system may determine that the matching of the provider with the requestor is eligible for cancellation because the provider is not making sufficient progress towards the pickup location. The system may cancel the matching and then match another provider with the requestor to continue to make progress towards completing the transportation request.
