Abstract: An excavator machine includes an undercarriage assembly including a drive assembly, and a carriage assembly rotatably coupled to the undercarriage assembly and including an operator cab positioned at a front of the carriage assembly. The excavator machine also includes a boom assembly. The boom assembly is coupled to the carriage assembly via two branches, and the branches are coupled to the carriage assembly on opposing sides of the operator cab.

Abstract: Disclosed is a ground modifying apparatus of a type sometimes known as levellers, typically as used on tractors and skid-steer vehicles. In current practice these are used for preparing, levelling, and contouring the ground. Such device includes at least an accessory body portion supporting a ground modifying accessory or includes a way to attach the same. The apparatus includes a travelling carriage assembly pivotably attached by a carriage pivot, about a rotational axis substantially parallel to a longitudinal axis of the apparatus. The carriage pivot is positioned lower than the center of gravity of the travelling carriage assembly.

Abstract: A motor grader may include a moldboard assembly movably connected to a main frame of the motor grader to move with respect to a plurality of dimensions. The moldboard assembly may include a blade having a lower cutting edge, an upper free edge, and first blade side, and a second blade side. The moldboard assembly may be adapted to pivot the blade by moving the upper free edge with respect to the lower cutting edge. The moldboard assembly may be adapted to change the cross-slope of the blade by moving the first blade side with respect to the second blade side. To determine the pitch and/or cross-slope, a blade sensor may be mounted to the moldboard assembly. The location of the blade sensor on the moldboard assembly may protect the blade sensor and allow the blade sensor to directly measure the pitch and/or cross-slope of the blade.

Abstract: A controller determines a target rotation speed of an engine from an operation amount of an accelerator operating member. The controller determines whether a vehicle is in coasting deceleration. The controller decreases a differential pressure between a first circuit and a second circuit of a hydraulic circuit according to a deviation between an actual rotation speed of the engine and the target rotation speed, or the operation amount of the accelerator operating member when the vehicle is in the coasting deceleration.

Abstract: Disclosed embodiments are directed to distributed hydraulic systems, and power machines such as excavators including distributed hydraulic systems. In the distributed hydraulic systems, electronically controlled distributor blocks are located throughout the machine, particularly along the lift arm, to locally distribute hydraulic power to actuators of the various machine and implement functions. Distributing control of hydraulics in multiple locations reduces the number of hoses that must be routed from a main control valve to the various actuators on the machine.

Abstract: A system for moving material with a ground engaging work implement determines a topography of the work surface, a maximum cutting capacity for a cutting operation, and a maximum carrying capacity for a carrying operation. A first double cut location is determined based upon the maximum carrying capacity and the topography of the work surface and a second double cut location is determined based upon the maximum carrying capacity and a modified topography of the work surface. Individually, the amount of material from each of the first and second double cut locations is less than the maximum cutting capacity, and combined is less than the maximum carrying capacity. A first forward double cut command moves the first double cut material to an intermediate position and a second forward double cut command moves the first double cut material and the second double cut amount of material to a dump location.

Abstract: An article handler for attachment to a front end loader, the article handler comprising a support body and a jaw assembly, the support body comprising a proximal end adapted for attachment to the front end loader, and a distal end adapted for attachment of the jaw assembly. The article handler may be adapted to handle, install, and dismount ground engaging tools (GET), such as teeth for excavating buckets.

Abstract: A plumbing service box assembly is described. The assembly includes a box with a positioning-debris cover configured to be received through an open face of the box and that includes a receiver that engages the plumbing fitting. Engagement with the receiver retains the plumbing fitting orientation and position during installation in a structure. The positioning-debris cover may be retained for aesthetic appearance and/or to resist actuation of the fitting. A trim-piece provides a finished appearance to the installation and retains the positioning-debris cover in position. Top and bottom walls of the box include interchangeable adaptor plates that adapt to various plumbing conduit sizes as well as drain outlets or couplings. A secondary debris cover that encloses the positioning-debris cover within the box and further protects against entry of debris is also provided.

Abstract: A reduced profile faucet handle assembly illustratively includes a mounting shank receiving a valve assembly, and an escutcheon operably coupled to the mounting shank. A mounting ring is positioned intermediate the mounting shank and the escutcheon, and a retainer couples the escutcheon to the mounting ring.

Abstract: A fluid delivery device comprises a faucet. The faucet includes a hub, a sprayhead, and a hose coupling the hub to the sprayhead. Each end of the hose has a pivot coupling. One of the pivot couplings is configured to permit rotation of the hose relative to the hub. Another of the pivot couplings is configured to permit rotation of the sprayhead relative to the hose.

Abstract: A sink with an integrally formed an inconspicuous storage space including a storage shelf. The sink has a basin portion and a niche that is integrally formed into the basin and extends substantially along the basin widthwise. The niche is an open area surrounded by three walls including a substantially horizontal floor that forms a substantially horizontal shelf, a substantially vertical wall, and a substantially horizontal ceiling disposed above the floor. The shelf may be used to store dishwashing accessories such as sponges and pads, and other items. The niche is aesthetically pleasing because it is not viewable from the front of the sink and can be seen only from the interior of the sink.

Abstract: An apron sink kit is provided for installing an apron sink in a pre-existing cabinet. The sink includes at least one basin with rims extending outward from the top edges of the left and right walls and the front and back walls. An apron extends downward from the outer edge of the front wall rim and for a selected length along the sides of the sink. The sink is vertically supported by a cabinet rail under the apron and by the back and side edges of the counter top for top mounting or mounting underneath a cabinet top.

Abstract: A flush toilet includes: a water supply channel that allows flush water to be supplied from a flush water storage tank to a rim spout port and a jet spout port; and a switching device that switches a water supply path so as to execute a first flushing process of spouting the flush water in the water supply channel from the rim spout port and after that, execute a second flushing process of spouting the flush water in the water supply channel from at least the jet spout port. The switching device includes a switching valve body that operates by receiving the water pressure of the flush water pressurized by a pressure pump. This switching valve body performs switching to a water supply path that allows the first flushing process or the second flushing process to be executed according to the water pressure generated by the pressure pump.

Abstract: A toilet includes an inlet structure, a bowl structure, and an outlet structure. The inlet structure is configured to receive water. The bowl structure has a toilet bowl including a rim and a sump, a split fluidly connected to the inlet structure and including a first passage and a second passage, a shelf located below the rim of the toilet bowl and fluidly connected to the first passage, a side channel fluidly connected to the second passage, and a diverter that redirects the water from the side channel to the sump of the toilet bowl. The outlet structure is fluidly connected to the sump and is configured to discharge water from the sump into a drain.

Abstract: A toilet having a water inlet structure, a bowl structure, a rim, and an outlet structure. The water inlet structure is configured to receive water from a water source. The bowl structure includes a toilet bowl and a water channel, which is fluidly connected to the water inlet structure and is configured to feed water into the toilet bowl from an outlet of the water channel that is located between a back portion and a side portion of the toilet bowl. The rim has a solid, annular member disposed around a top of the toilet bowl and entirely above the water channel, is formed separately from and coupled to the bowl structure. The outlet structure is fluidly connected to the toilet bowl to carry the water and contents from the toilet bowl to an outlet.

Abstract: An adjustable height toilet has a frame, a bowl assembly, and at least one bowl assembly actuator. The at least one bowl assembly actuator is configured to translate the bowl assembly vertically with respect to the frame between a lower position and an upper position. The toilet may include one or more of the following features: automatically deployable handles; a tilting bowl assembly; a rotational base assembly; a seat cleaner; a vacuum flush system; a retractable bidet; a slideable electrical coupling; and a motorized toilet seat.

Abstract: Disclosed is a packaged kit of a plurality of date-specific urinal screens for facilitating the regular hygienic maintenance of urinals. Each of the screens contains at least one integral tab or “printpad” displaying one of a category of sequential time periods. The time-displayed printpad serves primarily as a notification of the insertion time, duration, and/or disposal/removal date applicable to an individual urinal screen. A user, subsequent to disposing of an expired urinal screen, will then insert the urinal screen displaying the next succeeding time period. A cavity which accommodates an enzyme block is located internally to each urinal screen, and serves to releases biodegradable surfactants. Each screen further comprises a plurality of ridges, spokes, crests, channels, various openings, and other physical features for the purpose of minimizing splashing and facilitating the flow of urine or flush water through the urinal.

Abstract: An installation for covering vehicles or other goods includes a first covering structure that defines a first opening for entry of vehicles or devices moving the goods, a second covering structure located under the first structure and defining a second entry opening, the first and the second covering structures being self-supporting, or one being self-supporting while the other one not, at least at its top, wherein at least one of the first or second covering structure is configured to laterally slide along arcs for causing the installation to transition between a first closing condition, in which one of the covering structures closes the opening of the other structure to define a covered space that is closed and separated from the external environment, and a second opening condition, in which the first and the second opening are at least partially radially aligned, thus defining an entry/exit passage into/from the covered space.

Abstract: An anchor for use in joining inner and outer wythes of the wall. The outer wythe is formed from successive courses of masonry units with a mortar-filled bed joint between each two adjacent courses. The anchor comprises an engagement portion configured for disposition in the bed joint and an attachment portion coupled to the engagement portion. The attachment portion is configured to be secured to the inner wythe. The attachment portion defines an elongate slot. A bushing defines an opening sized and shaped to receive a fastener to attach the attachment portion to the inner wythe. The bushing is movably attached to the attachment portion to permit movement of the bushing and attachment portion relative to one another. This permits the engagement portion to move relative to the outer wythe to position the engagement portion in the bed joint when the fastener secures the attachment portion to the inner wythe.

Abstract: The drainage tape will be comprised of self-adhered flexible air resistive sheeting and water permeable sheeting. Along the length the tape, there will be sections of self-adhered flexible air resistive sheeting with intermittent drainage channels to all water to weep; the water permeable sheeting runs continuously along the length of the tape and is intended to control airflow at the drainage channels where the air resistive sheeting is omitted. It will be roll-able and have limited compressibility so to maintain the minimum dimension to ensure water drainage can occur.

Abstract: A sleeve assembly for poured concrete decks has a tubular sleeve connected to a base flange by stiffeners or an optional base wall. An intumescent ring and fire ring plate are fastened to the base flange. The stiffeners and optional base wall are configured so concrete passes between the stiffeners to entrain a fire ring plate and ring of intumescent material in the concrete by passing through a gap between the base wall and the sleeve or through open windows in the base wall to entrain the base wall when it is present.

Abstract: A layered architectural water pervious concrete is provided. The concrete assembly includes a first layer of water pervious concrete preferably having 15%-25% void space capable of channeling water to the ground and underlying water table. Poured upon the pervious concrete layer, is a non-pervious concrete layer. Joints are formed through the non-pervious concrete layer, which preferably penetrates into the pervious concrete layer at least ¼ inch. Water flows from the top surface of the concrete assembly through the joints and into the porous concrete layer for distribution to the ground below.

Abstract: A modular pre-fabricated wall panel has a plurality of stud sets. The stud sets each have a pocket, the pocket having a floor for supporting a roof truss. The wall panel has a sheathing attached to an exterior surface of the plurality of stud sets. The wall panel also has an air/vapor barrier on an interior surface of the plurality of stud sets. The wall panel also has a plurality of pocket liners sealably connected to the air/vapor barrier lining, each of the plurality of pocket liners lining a pocket of the plurality of stud sets and forming a barrier to air/vapor. A modular roof system has a plurality of trusses, hinged to roof sheathing. The hinges allow the trusses to lie flat against the sheathing during storage or transportation and to orient into a perpendicular orientation for installation.

Abstract: An acoustical ceiling panel is provided having a core with a front face and a back face composed of air laid mineral fibers and an aqueous binder. The aqueous binder includes a first component in the form of one or more carbohydrates, and a second component in the form of one or more compounds selected from sulfamic acid, derivatives of sulfamic acid, and any salts thereof, ammonia and hypophosphorous acid. A formaldehyde-free first fleece having a thickness is secured to the front face of the core by powdered adhesive and a formaldehyde-free second fleece having a thickness is secured to the back face of the core by the aqueous binder, with the thickness of the first fleece being greater than the thickness of the second fleece. Paint is applied to the first fleece. The acoustical ceiling panel has formaldehyde emissions of below 8 ?g/m2/h of formaldehyde, preferably below 5 ?g/m2/h, most preferably below 3 ?g/m2/h, in accordance with ISO 16000 for testing aldehyde emissions.

Abstract: Ceiling panel mount system and method includes a plurality of mount brackets. Each of the mount brackets includes a base and a hook. The hook includes a first hook portion extending vertically upward from the base, a second hook portion joined to the first hook portion at a first bend in a first direction and extending horizontally therefrom, and a third hook portion joined to the second hook portion at a second bend in the first direction and extending vertically downward therefrom. A ridge protrudes from an inner surface of the first hook portion.

Abstract: An insulation board assembly includes an insulation board body that has a front face, a back face, a top edge, a bottom edge, and two side edges. The back face has a drainage channel extending from the top edge to the bottom edge. The drainage channel is recessed inward of the back face by a channel depth. A drainage insert is positioned in the drainage channel proximate the bottom edge of the insulation board body. The drainage insert has a front face, a top edge, a bottom edge, and two side edges. The drainage insert defines at least one interior drainage passage extending from the top edge of the drainage insert to the bottom edge of the drainage insert. A reinforcing mesh may be secured to the insulation board body. The insulation board body may consist substantially of mineral fibre insulation.

The support apparatus may be used to provide reinforcement between a floor (e.g., ground, substrate, or the like) and the structure. The base of the support apparatus is in the form of a generally planar circular base, but may have any shape. The base may include one or more platforms, recesses, or ribs in order to provide structural support to the base and/or locations for one or more fastener apertures. The one or more fastener apertures are configured to receive one or more fasteners for operatively coupling the base to the floor in order to resist movement of the base during installation and/or use of the support apparatus.

Abstract: A mechanical utility invention that creates a self-leveling detachable base that when attached to the member beam of the parent application U.S. Ser. No. 15,703,993, creates utility in its substantially different shape, mobility, multi-functional capabilities, and sustainability from its conventional counter part. It can be utilized as a means for independent balance, manipulate angular degrees, attaching to a sub-surface, and attaching to additional member beams. Additionally, it can be used with the expandable sustainable platform from the parent application. Additional utilities include, but not limited to: creating an arch way, creating a plumb and post without the use of digging and concrete, creating a means for a work to attach a beam without the need to for additional workers to stabilize during attachment. Thereafter, it can be used lend to a member beam the ability to install and uninstall and used again for like or different utilities, making the base and the beam largely sustainable.

A splicing seam between the reinforced-concrete foundation and the prefabricated-reinforced-concrete column is filled with the seam filling material. The foundation anchoring steel bar includes a vertical portion and a horizontal portion. The vertical portion includes an upper-portion anchoring section protruding out of an upper surface of the reinforced-concrete foundation, a middle-portion non-adhesive section buried within the foundation and a lower-portion anchoring section. An exterior of the middle-portion non-adhesive section is provided with an isolating sheath for isolating the middle-portion non-adhesive section and the concrete adhesion.

Abstract: A hand rail system and associated methods. Newel posts of the hand rail system can be mounted in a top mount configuration or a lateral mount configuration. Mounts are receivable in a boot subassembly in a horizontal or vertical arrangement for anchoring the boot subassembly to substructure. After anchoring of the boot subassembly, a column subassembly may be installed and anchored. Openings in the boot and column subassemblies permit access to the interior of the newel post for anchoring the boot and column subassemblies and for connecting a hand rail to the column subassembly. Subsequent installation of covers on the boot subassembly and column subassembly closes the newel post and provides a finished appearance free of external indication that openings in the newel post existed and have been covered. Four-sided turned newels, newel panel retainers, and associated methods are also disclosed.

Abstract: A pry bar for construction applications and methods of using same is disclosed. The presently disclosed pry bar includes a main pry bar member, a handle, and a pry bar head. The pry bar head further includes a top plate, a faceplate that includes two prongs, a tapered slot between the two prongs, and optionally a pivot edge at the top of the tapered slot, and various support members. A method of using the pry bar is provided that includes the steps of positioning a board to be installed and thereby revealing a gap between the board and a previously installed board, positioning the pry bar head with respect to a floor joist and also with respect to the board to be installed and manipulating the handle of the pry bar until the gap is closed, fastening the board in place.

Abstract: A floor tapping block is described. The floor tapping block includes a planar base having a front downward facing tongue extending below the planar base. The planar base has a track attached to a top surface thereof. A handle portion having a groove can be fitted over the track on the planar base. The handle portion having a front face configured to be hit with a hammer. This portion can be a flat portion raised from the handle. A locking pin to secure the handle portion to the planar base. The locking pin may be a spring biased pin that locks into predefined locking holes in the planar base. The locking pin may also be a combination of a screw and a nut.

Abstract: An insulating concrete form system uses a stacked arrangement of foam panels to receive pourable concrete to construct a concrete wall of a building structure. Webs located in the panels hold the panels in parallel spaced relation. The webs have laterally extending ties. The ties have one or more projecting members having arms extending into grooves adapted to receive rebar. Outwardly extending truss member are used to fasten multiple webs during shipping. Couplings releasably connect the ties to end portions of the web and allow the ties to be moved along the length of the end portions as desired.

Abstract: A land vehicle, is provided with a mobile work platform assembly with a platform mounted to the land vehicle, sized to receive an operator thereupon. A frame extends from the platform. A positioner assembly includes a guide mounted on the frame of the mobile work platform assembly. A carriage is provided on the guide for translation along the guide. Abstract: A three-dimensional construction method comprises: installing two pulleys at a predetermined interval in a substantially horizontal direction, installing two rope winders at downward position by predetermined distances with respect to the installation positions of the pulleys, respectively, and passing two ropes through the pulleys, respectively, one ends of the two ropes being connected to the rope winders, respectively, and the other ends thereof being connected to a worker's wearing tool, wherein the feeding and winding lengths and winding speeds of the two ropes of the two winding machines, respectively, are controlled to enable the worker to move to a desired position, in a space defined by positions where the pulleys are installed, and positions in contact with the ground below positions where the pulleys are installed.

Abstract: A system for laterally supporting a vertical shoring post is provided. The system includes a head and a jaw assembly, the jaw assembly movably mounted to the head, the head configured for selective engagement with a shoring post, and the jaw assembly configured for engagement with a beam that provides lateral support to the shoring post. The head comprises first and second arms that extend in the same general direction and when engaging the shoring post the first and second arms are disposed upon opposite sides of the shoring post. The jaw assembly includes a fixed jaw and a movable jaw, the moving member pivotably connected to the fixed jaw, wherein the fixed jaw and movable jaws are configured to receive an end of the beam therebetween.

Abstract: An attachment for a pool vacuum includes a housing and a brushroll at least partially extending from the housing. The brushroll has a plurality of bristles configured to rotate about a first axis. The attachment further comprises a paddle wheel disposed in the housing. The paddle wheel is configured to rotate about a second axis that is parallel to the first axis.
