Abstract: A system for operating a distributed ledger implementation for tracking and monitoring entity shares involves receiving a share configuration control at an entity formation and management system by way of a user interface. The system configures a distributed ledger comprising a plurality of gateway nodes to record share transfer activity comprising entity share distribution between the entity, the user account, and combinations thereof in a blockchain as entity records. The system communicates with an oracle service, information provided by the share configuration control, to verify share transfer requirements for each entity share distribution. The system transfers entity shares to the first party in response to the oracle service verifying that the share transfer requirements were met by the first party and the entity. The system writes a share transfer record into the blockchain in response to the oracle service verifying that the share transfer requirements were met.

Abstract: Embodiments of the transmission latency leveling apparatuses, methods and systems provide an electronic bidding order management infrastructure, such as a “point-of-presence,” which receives and routes electronic trading orders from different trading entities at a server via a transmission medium to create a certain amount of transmission latency before the trading orders could arrive at and be executed at electronic exchanges to reduce latency arbitrage and/or order book arbitrage that may be experienced by high frequency trading participants. A similar transmission latency may be applied to the egress transmission of market data updates issued by an electronic exchange. Other techniques for facilitating electronic trading are also disclosed.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a novel system and method for TCP-to-multicast (T2M) communications. The T2M techniques may allow a client to make a single TCP connection that then fans out into communications with multiple back-end resources. Such one-to-many communications may be invisible to the client but can achieve many practical benefits.

Abstract: Various systems and methods are described herein for a risk check. The risk check bases a decision to allow a trading strategy to proceed on whether the order quantity for each leg of the trading strategy satisfies a certain condition. Particularly, when a trading strategy is initiated, the quantity for each of the orders to be submitted on behalf of the trading strategy, including the quantity of the initial order and any subsequent orders, is then compared to a corresponding risk value. If the order quantity for each of the orders is less than the corresponding risk value, then the trading strategy can proceed and the initial order can be sent on to the exchange. However, if the order quantity for any of the orders exceeds the risk value, then the initial order is not sent to the electronic exchange.

Abstract: A tracking liquidity order and related market center and process are disclosed which allow posting market centers (e.g. exchanges) to fill routable, smaller orders that would have otherwise routed off the posting market center. Such tracking liquidity orders increase the liquidity of that posting market center and allow it to execute more orders internally, without having to route them to an away market center.

A back-end application computer server may include a data collection engine to exchange information with a remote entity device associated with the entity. A bundle creation engine may receive the information about the entity and automatically and dynamically create a potential bundle of optional risk relationship components (each associated with an electronic file representing an optional risk relationship component document). A presentation engine may present information about the potential bundle and receive an indication of a selected subset of the potential bundle of optional risk relationship components. A final document construction engine may automatically construct, based on the selected subset and associated electronic files representing component documents, an electronic file representing a risk relationship package document to be transmitted to the remote entity device.

Abstract: A system and method for assisting an insurance service provider to process an insurance request for a roof associated with a building includes the steps of receiving a request for insuring the roof, followed by launching an application for identifying information related to the roof within a selected period of time and utilizing the application to analyze a series of time-lapse images of the roof obtained from past and real-time satellite images of the geographical area. The series of time-lapse images of the roof provides information related to the roof including roof characteristics and other past and present damages and maintenance related information associated with the roof. Comparing sequential changes in a number of pixels in the series of time-lapse images provides the maintenance and damages related information. The insurance service provider compares the above information with preset roof conditions to determine the insurance eligibility status of the roof.

The plan authoring tool can convert the user input into a machine structured plan description (MSPD) that defines the benefit plan. The MSPD can be used by a plan documentation generator to generate one or more plan documents that explain the benefits and/or indicate how to manually adjudicate claims submitted in association with the benefit plan. The MSPD can also be used to automatically adjudicate claims. The legal semantic types are added to the semantic knowledge graph, and a list of terms that serve as a basis of an initial query are identified. An e-discovery query is generated for an e-discovery system. The e-discovery query is modified using the semantic knowledge graph and additional input by receiving a legal matter type and meet and confer information, obtaining the legal semantic types that are relevant to the legal matter type and the meet and confer information, and modifying the e-discovery query. The modified e-discovery query is provided. Then, the modified e-discovery query is executed.

In some embodiments, a network service generates a set of clusters that group a plurality of students by similarity. The network service trains a machine-learning model based on variances in outcomes and actions leading to the outcomes for students that belong to a same cluster in the set of clusters. The network service evaluates the machine-learning model for a student that has been mapped to the same cluster to identify at least one action that the student has not performed that is predictive of an optimal outcome for other students that belong to the same cluster. Responsive to evaluating the machine-learning model, the network service presents, through an interface, a recommendation that the student perform the at least one action.

A step is therefore provided for obtaining first data from consumption records from the meter (C1, . . . , Cn) of each dwelling, in regular time intervals, and second data (MET) which are meteorological data in the geographical area of these dwellings, in order to identify at least some weather conditions conducive to the production of energy by autonomous units. A model is then applied for detecting, based on the first and second data, a coincidence between periods of lower consumption measured by a meter and weather conditions conducive to electricity production by autonomous units during these periods.
