Abstract: Disclosed is a swinging drive control apparatus, including a controller and a motor, where the controller detects a counter-electromotive force of the motor and drives the motor according to the detection result. Also disclosed is a corresponding method, including: measuring a counter-electromotive force of a motor in a previous cycle; and comparing a maximum counter-electromotive force value with a preset value, and calculating a PWM pulse duty factor in a next cycle. By directly detecting the counter-electromotive force of the motor without using a sensor, the present invention implements swinging frequency and phase tracking as well as swinging amplitude control, and simplifies a control system.

The composition includes a first portion comprising paraffinic oil, a second portion comprising polyalphaolefin (PAO), and a third portion comprising black dye. Applying the air filter oil composition to a cotton air filter material causes tackiness throughout the air filter material, thereby enhancing airflow and filtration of air passing through the air filter. The composition generally is substantially non-reactive, has an excellent oxidation stability, possesses good thermal stability, and retains a suitable viscosity at normal operating temperatures of an automobile engine. In an embodiment, the composition comprises 96.74% paraffinic oil by volume, 3.20% PAO by volume, and 0.06% black dye by volume. Abstract: A filter for purifying air includes a frame, layers of a filter medium, and separator plates. The layers of the filter medium and the separator plates are arranged in the frame. The layers of the filter medium are aligned at a distance from each other and one of the separator plates is arranged between each two layers of the filter medium. The separator plates are folded and are provided with folding in such a way that the separator plate is designed with a number of fold peaks and fold valleys on its first side and a multiple number of fold peaks and fold valleys on its other, second side. The fold peaks and fold valleys extend from the first side to the second side. The folding, as viewed in the flow direction, causes a trapezoidal cross-section of a respective separator plate.

Abstract: A hydrocarbon absorbing air filter box is provided for absorbing evaporative hydrocarbon emissions from an air intake duct of an internal combustion engine. A combined mass airflow sensor and hydrocarbon trap comprising the hydrocarbon absorbing air filter box includes a duct supporting a hydrocarbon absorbing sheet within an interior of a housing. The duct communicates an airstream from an air filter to the air intake duct during operation of the internal combustion engine. An opening in the housing receives a mass airflow sensor into the duct, such that the mass airflow sensor is disposed within the airstream. Guide vanes extending across the duct reduce air turbulence within the airstream passing by the mass airflow sensor. Ports disposed along the duct allow the evaporative hydrocarbon emissions to be drawn into the interior and arrested by the hydrocarbon absorbing sheet when the internal combustion engine is not operating.

Abstract: The separation of ethane from its corresponding ethylene is a very important, challenging and energy-intensive process in the chemical industry. Herein we report a microporous metal-organic framework Fe2(O2)(dobdc) (dobdc4?: 2,5-dioxido-1,4-benzenedicarboxylate) with Fe-peroxo sites for the preferential binding of ethane over ethylene and thus highly selective separation of C2H6/C2H4. Neutron powder diffraction studies and theoretical calculations demonstrate the key role of Fe-peroxo sites for the recognition of ethane. The high performance of Fe2(O2)(dobdc) for the ethane/ethylene separation has been validated by gas sorption isotherms, ideal adsorbed solution theory calculations, simulated and experimental breakthrough curves. Through a fixed-bed column packed with this porous material, polymer-grade of ethylene (99.

Abstract: A filtration apparatus for filtering a fluid stream includes a vessel housing. At least one cartridge assembly is arranged within the vessel housing. The cartridge assembly includes filtration material arranged between at least one inlet and at least one outlet. The filtration material treats the fluid stream to form a filtered fluid stream. In use, the fluid stream is received a feed port of the vessel housing, flows through the filtration material in the cartridge assembly between the inlet and the outlet, and the filtered fluid stream is discharged from a discharge port of the vessel housing. The filtration apparatus can be used to remove siloxanes from the fluid stream.

Abstract: Methods of sequestering carbon dioxide (CO2) are provided. Aspects of the methods include contacting an aqueous capture liquid, such as an aqueous capture ammonia, with a direct air capture (DAC) generated gaseous source of CO2 under conditions sufficient to produce an aqueous carbonate liquid, such as an aqueous ammonium carbonate. The aqueous carbonate liquid is then combined with a cation source under conditions sufficient to produce a solid CO2 sequestering carbonate. Also provided are systems configured for carrying out the methods.
