Abstract: An exercise apparatus includes a pair of step-up apparatuses wearable on feet of a user. Each step-up apparatus is configurable between an expanded configuration and a compressed configuration to simulate a selected motion when the user wearing the pair of step-up apparatuses travels by foot. One of the step-up apparatuses moves towards the expanded configuration while the other step-up apparatus moves towards the compressed configuration.

Abstract: A treadmill includes a base frame and an one-way damping device. The one-way damping device includes a rotatable braking plate, an one-way clutch, and a resistance unit. The resistance unit is fixedly mounted to the base frame and abuts against the braking plate. The one-way clutch is sleeved on one of two rotating shafts of the base frame, is not engaged with the braking plate when the rotating shafts are rotated in a first rotational direction, and is engaged with the braking plate when the rotating shafts are rotated in a second rotational direction, which in turn drives the braking plate to co-rotate against a frictional force between the braking plate and the resistance unit.

Abstract: A conveyor chain which is designed to be used on a stepmill to form into steps on the side interacting with a user, but which can fold into a generally flat configuration when returning to the top of the tread. Each step is designed to be formed of four generally identical segments where both the segments forming the tread and kickplate can fold relative to each other and each of the tread and kickplate can fold at a midpoint between two segments.

Abstract: A spinner bike with adjustable magnetic resistance includes a generator, a disc plate, a magnetic resistance adjusting apparatus and a resistance adjusting apparatus. The elements are disposed on a frame body of a spinner bike, so that a pedaling mechanism of the spinner bike can be operated to drive a flywheel and the disc plate for generating electricity by the cutting of flux formed by a plurality of magnets surrounding an armature core. Rotating a button of the resistance adjusting apparatus enables a connecting rod operating a pulling cable, so as to further alter coverage of the flux on the disc plate for adjustment of the loading resistance.

Abstract: A torque-measuring system is applied to a training assembly of body training equipment. The training assembly includes a stationary base, a flywheel connected to the stationary base, a torque output mechanism driving the flywheel, and a brake member generating a resistance force by contacting the flywheel and displacing relative to the stationary base. The system has a measurement apparatus and a computation apparatus. The measurement apparatus includes a spring leaf and a strain measurement module. The spring leaf is connected between the brake member and the stationary base and has a mounting surface. The strain measurement module is mounted on the mounting surface of the spring leaf and generates a variation of electrical resistance corresponding to a strain of the spring leaf. According to the variation of electrical resistance, the computation apparatus outputs a torque value which reflects the magnitude of the torque outputted from the torque output mechanism.

Abstract: A system for assessing lower extremity movement quality includes one or more user sensors, at least one processor, and a movement evaluator implemented using the at least one processor. The movement evaluator is configured, by virtue of appropriate programming, for receiving movement data from the one or more user sensors during a user's performance of a movement task; extracting one or more movement features from the movement data, each movement feature characterizing a respective aspect of a movement pattern of the user's performance that is associated with lower extremity injury risk; and classifying the movement pattern into a classified risk category for lower extremity injury for the user based on the one or more movement features.

The outer portion of the crown defines an opening to the cavity, a riser extending into the cavity, and a ledge extending from the edge of the riser. The ledge may define a first channel and a second channel that extend around the ledge. The first channel is filled with adhesive to secure the inner portion of the crown to the ledge. The inner portion of the crown is attached to the ledge such that the opening is covered by the inner portion of the crown. The golf club head may also have a sole comprising an inner sole portion and an outer sole portion.

Composite structures may include ball bats, and the matrix films with nano-additive materials may be positioned in selected portions of ball bats, such as wherever improved strength or resistance to fatigue is desired.

The four primary wheels support most or all of the weight of the skateboard when the skateboard is on a flat surface, and the two secondary wheels support the weight of one portion of the skateboard (e.g., front or rear) when the primary wheels cross a crack (e.g., a sidewalk contraction joint). In various embodiments, the secondary wheels are located outboard of the primary wheels. Abstract: An augmented reality (AR) system allows for providing AR in video games. The disclosed AR system allows for layering AR content on top of the built-in features of video games to provide a unique “in-game” AR experience for gamers. A remote computing system provides a central data warehouse for AR content and related data that may be accessed by select client machines to render augmented frames with AR content during execution of video games. The AR content may be spatially-relevant AR content that is rendered at appropriate locations within a game world. The AR content may be event specific such that the AR content is added in response to game-related events. The disclosed AR system allows for adding multiplayer aspects to otherwise single player games, and/or sharing of AR content in real-time to provide augmentative features such as spectating, mixing of game worlds, and/or teleportation through AR objects.
