The controller having a body with a proximate end and a distal end, and the distal end is opposite the proximate end. A handgrip portion of the body is disposed at the proximate end of the body. An extension portion of the body is coupled at the distal end of the body. The extension portion has a loop shape. A plurality of lights is disposed on surfaces of the extension portion, such that lights illuminate on an inside of the loop shape and on an outside of the loop shape.

Abstract: A game system including a game controller and game machine that executes a game program. The game controller including a balance platform supported at its center and under its periphery by an inflatable bladder, an air pressure source, a dual-axis accelerometer measuring tilt of the balance platform, a control valve, and an air pressure sensor measuring air pressure of the inflatable bladder. The game machine receives real time measures of the air pressure of the inflatable bladder and the tilt of the balance platform, displays on a screen a game player's location in a game space generated by the game program, based on the measures of the tilt, and changes the air pressure of the inflatable bladder during game play in response to the game program generating an interaction between the game player's location and a location of an interactive graphic image created by the game program.

Abstract: Described herein are electronic gaming machines, and methods of operating electronic gaming machines, configured to enable display of game display data and additional information via common video output. Embodiments of the invention have been particularly developed to enable display of information such as machine diagnostics and bonus games, for example via a secondary display device. While some embodiments will be described herein with particular reference to that application, it will be appreciated that the invention is not limited to such a field of use, and is applicable in broader contexts.

Abstract: The systems and methods discussed herein further provide for electronic simulation of sports-based card and board games with greater realism than conventional simulations of card and board games, with an intuitive user interface less complicated than user interfaces provided with electronic simulations of sports games. The simulation may be local to a computing device, or may utilize multiple computing devices in communication. Resources associated with a user of one computing device may be not associated with the user of another computing device, representing ownership of game tokens or entities. Resources associated with the user and resources not associated with the user may be stored separately in local databases, reducing bandwidth required for transfer of unassociated resources during multi-user simulations.

Abstract: Various examples are directed to a haptic device for manipulating a virtual projectile. The haptic device may receive a trajectory of the virtual projectile. A position circuit may determine a first position of a body part of a user based at least in part on a motion signal received from a motion sensor. A comparator circuit may determine a first distance between the first position of the body part and the trajectory. A feedback circuit may excite a haptic actuator of the haptic device at a first level. The position circuit may also determine a second position of the body part. The comparator circuit may also determine a second distance between the second position of the body part and the trajectory. The second distance may be different than the first distance. The feedback circuit may excite the haptic actuator at a second level different than the first level.

The system applies a blur operation to a performance heatmap associated with a game map to generate a blurred heatmap, the heatmap having a plurality of pixels, where at least a portion of the pixels is associated with one or more values corresponding to one or more performance metrics. A mask representative of a top down image of the game map is generated, where the mask defines first areas that are accessible to players and second areas that are not accessible to players. A data structure is defined having n×m elements, wherein each of the n×m elements has a weight associated therewith based on an association of the data structure and mask. The blurring operation is executed on the heatmap using the data structure.

Abstract: Various aspects of the subject technology relate to systems, methods, and machine-readable media for automated real-time engagement in an interactive environment. The disclosed system provides for producing a series of game challenges that replicate scenarios of a real-life event, and soliciting users to engage the series of game challenges to win an in-game reward. In some aspects, an extraction server engine obtains a live feed from a service provider of the real-life event and converts, on a periodic basis, the live feed into a parsed feed with a predetermined number of events. The extraction server engine then feeds its output to a trained neural network, which then selects a subset of the predetermined number of events. The trained neural network feeds the selections to a game server engine, which then feeds the selected events as in-game event challenges to a game client for presentation to an end user.

In some embodiments, the connection is for uploading a set of data from the participant to the server. The server, of some embodiments, broadcasts to the participant. The broadcast is a one-way transmission. In some embodiments, the broadcast includes a distribution based on a set of sample participants. In these embodiments, the set of sample participants comprises a representative sample of all the participants in the game. The threshold value, of some embodiments, is based on the broadcast and in some embodiments, the broadcast includes a histogram. The connecting occurs, in some embodiments, when the performance metric exceeds the threshold value.

Abstract: Methods and systems for predicting instant play includes pre-loading one or more instances of select ones of games on one or more game consoles on a cloud game server. The loading of instances is based on usage history of the games. Users are assigned to select ones of the instances of the games loaded on the one or more game consoles, in response to user interaction detected at the select ones of the games exceeding a pre-defined threshold value. User interactions are monitored at the instances of the select ones of games assigned to the users. Based on the monitored interactions, the number of instances of the games loaded on the one or more game consoles are dynamically adjusted. The dynamic adjustment includes scaling up or scaling down the number of instances of the games loaded on the one or more game consoles.

The upper seal includes a sealing ridge that has an elongated shape and is flexible such that the filter assembly can be used on both pressure-side and suction side applications in filtration systems.

The vessel includes a first space upstream from the helical separators wherein the gas stream changes direction before entering the helical separators, such that the change in direction causes mechanical separation of liquids or solids from the gas stream. The vessel may also form a second space downstream from the helical separators for collecting liquid and particulate separated from the gas stream. The first and second spaces in the vessel may each include a drain which empties into a common sump, such that the first and second spaces are in fluid communication.

Various ones of the filters may be composed of a variety of different materials, and ozone may be provided within the housing to assist with removal of the pollutants. In some examples, a wash mechanism may be included to wash surfaces of a filter to remove grease therefrom. In some examples, the system may further include means to spray droplets (such as in a fog or mist form) into the waste airstream to condense a portion of gas phase pollutants into condensed particles.
