Abstract: Provided are a method for manufacturing a mask pack for heavy metal adsorption comprising immersing a cellulose nonwoven fabric in an alkali solution by a cold pad batch method and then aging the cellulose nonwoven fabric at room temperature for 10 minutes to 50 minutes, and immersing the cellulose nonwoven fabric in a carboxymethylation solution by the cold pad batch method and then aging the cellulose nonwoven fabric at room temperature to 60° C. for 10 minutes to 3 hours, and a mask pack for heavy metal adsorption manufactured by the method.

Abstract: A device that secures an object to the user's body, hands free, while carrying multiple types of bulky items is provided. The carrying device may include at least a pair of first straps and a second strap having a plurality of loops spaced apart along its length. Each strap terminates at opposing ends providing complementary and adjustable connectors, so that when each of the two first straps selectively engages one loop of the plurality the loops, many different types of bulky items may be secured to the body of user when the connectors are locked, thereby leaving the user hands free while transporting bulky objects.

Abstract: A backpack system for use with a power tool, the system including a harness system configured to extend at least over a user's shoulders, and a carrier portion configured to be coupled to the harness system. At least one battery pack is housed within the carrier portion, and at least one electrical connector is coupled to the at least one battery pack, with the at least one battery pack being configured to provide power to the power tool. The carrier portion may further include at least one opening formed therein to allow the passage of air at least partially through the carrier portion. The power tool may be a string trimmer or a blower. Additionally, one or more carrier portions may be recharged in a recharging station which is configured to allow for hands-free connection of a carrier portion to a user's harness system.

The portable hydration device comprises a housing having an inlet, configured to be in fluid communication with a reservoir of water, and an outlet configured to be in fluid communication with a mouthpiece; the housing defining a throughbore connecting the inlet and the outlet. The device also includes a receptacle configured to contain an additive and a selector. The selector is movable between an engaged position in which the selector is engaged with the receptacle and a disengaged position in which the selector is disengaged from the receptacle. In the engaged position the selector permits fluid communication between the receptacle and the throughbore and in the disengaged position the selector prevents fluid communication between the receptacle and the throughbore. The selector defines a throughbore, the selector throughbore being aligned with the housing throughbore in the engaged and the disengaged positions.

Abstract: Aspects of the invention provide a protective case for a mobile device. The protective case includes a cavity and a removable portion configured to be removably secured within the cavity. The removable portion can be removed and reinserted from the cavity to selectively expose either surface of the removable portion. A first surface of the removable portion can include a mechanism that can be used to mount the protective case, and therefore the mobile device, to a surface of a structure.

Abstract: A tool carrier-and-opener comprises a body, an adapter and a fastening element. The body includes a back segment, a pair of side segments extending inwardly from the back segment, and a magnet extending through an opening formed in the back segment. The magnet is preferably disposed along the longitudinal midline of the back segment and used to hold a tool, such as a multi-tool, housed in the body. In preferred embodiments, the magnet is rubber-coated to grip and stabilize the tool. The multi-tool can be removed from the carrier-and-opener by sliding the multi-tool upward to exit from the top of the body or by pushing the multi-tool forward to exit from the front of the body. Once the multi-tool is removed, it can be opened using the magnet. Both the removal and opening of the multi-tool can be accomplished singlehandedly by a user.

Abstract: A tool attachment system is provided. The tool attachment system includes a tool attachment device and a receiver that cooperate to lock or secure, for example, a bag or pouch. When the tool attachment device is coupled to the receiver, a locking mechanism locks the tool attachment device to the receiver in a locked position. To remove the tool attachment device, a user applies a force to a button to cause the tool attachment device to disengage from the receiver.

Abstract: A hair care device for use in untangling hair includes a body portion and a plurality of substantially parallel flexible bristles made of soft plastics material and projecting from the body portion. The bristles are arranged such that over at least a part of the area of bristles, some of the bristles are of shorter length. The bristles and the shorter length bristles are interspersed over the at least part of the area of bristles.

Abstract: An oral implement and a method of forming an oral care implement. The oral care implement may include a head having a front surface and a plurality of tooth cleaning elements extending from the front surface. In one embodiment, the plurality of tooth cleaning elements may include three different types of tooth cleaning elements, each type of tooth cleaning element being formed of a different material. In one embodiment each of the materials has a different hardness and thus the oral care implement includes three different types of tooth cleaning elements each having a different hardness. In another embodiment, the oral care implement may include bristles and a molded cleaning element that may function as an interdental cleaner. Such a molded cleaning element may include a body and tines extending therefrom.

Abstract: An oral care appliance for cleaning teeth of a user and a method of adapting a brushing cycle of the oral care appliance are disclosed. Specific embodiments disclosed herein adapt the at least one brushing cycle based on a variety of factors, either alone or in combination, such as the time elapsed since a last brushing event and the identity of a user.

Abstract: An oral care appliance and a method of controlling pressure in the oral care appliance are disclosed. The pressure inside a mouthpiece of the oral care appliance is controlled by an actuator. The actuator is triggered when a targeted threshold value of an operational characteristic is reached. Automatic control of the pressure in the mouthpiece enhances both cleaning efficiency and user comfort.

Abstract: A broom with a brush section and a brush cap into which the upper ends of a plurality of bristles are mounted, a plurality of white-light LEDs, a shaft, a rechargeable battery, an on/off switch, and a printed circuit board. The plurality of white-light LEDs are arranged in two rows around a perimeter of a bottom of the brush cap. The bristles are arranged in clusters, and each cluster is inserted into a hole in the bottom of the brush cap. The ten white-light LEDs are mounted into the bottom of the brush cap at preset, individual orientations so that a central axis of a light beam from each LED is oriented in a direction that is parallel to the bristles that are closest to that particular LED.

The apparatus comprises shelving assemblies that may be used to store relatively heavy objects such as vehicle components, athletic weights, or the like. The apparatus comprises a plurality of vertical columns including column members that are selectively coupled to one another, a plurality of horizontal supports that extend between the column members, and a plurality of shelves that are positioned on the horizontal supports. The apparatus may also include a center brace extending between opposing horizontal supports. The horizontal supports include a truss portion connected to a support portion; the truss portion distributes the downward forces applied to the support portion by the shelves. The design of the apparatus and the truss increases the downward forces that may be applied to the shelf, thereby increasing the weight capacity of the shelves and the apparatus.

The lid and the body cooperate to provide flow control through at least one hole in the lid leading to the spout and at least one hole in a cover over the body. By rotating the lid and either alighing or not aligning the holes, the user can achieve flow control. The optional legs are attached to a ring that fits on the body. The legs can be laterally concave to provide superior properties that prevent tipping.

The sipping portion may include a sipping end and a shoulder end spaced apart from the sipping end. The sipping portion protrudes from the open end of the double-walled structure. A collar is positioned over the sipping portion of the glass structure thereby forming a sipping surface.

The wall defines a surface against which the handles of knives are supported when the knives are mounted in slots.

Abstract: A biodegradable drinking straw and a manufacturing method thereof, the biodegradable drinking straw includes: a plant fiber material, which accounts for 5 wt % to 60 wt % of the total weight of the biodegradable drinking straw; and a biodegradable plastic selected from polylactic acid (PLA), polybutylene succinate (PBS) or a combination thereof; the biodegradable plastic accounts for 40 wt % to 95 wt % of the total weight of the biodegradable drinking straw; the fiber material is mixed into the biodegradable plastic and mixed uniformly and then extruded to form a tube body of the biodegradable drinking straw by extrusion molding. By replacing the traditional straw material with plant fibers and biodegradable plastics, the biodegradable drinking straw can be quickly decomposed naturally in the environment after being buried, thus reducing environmental pollution, and meeting the environmental protection requirements.

The reusable drinking straw is configured to move from a folded configuration to an extended configuration based on an elasticity of the flexible tube. The cleaning element includes a brush and being disposable within the cleaning element storing area and adapted to clean the passageway of the flexible tube.
