Abstract: A vehicle pane has a first and a second pane element that are joined to one another surface-to-surface such that the vehicle pane has a first pane face, a second pane face, a third pane face, and a fourth pane face. The second pane face has a first printed region and the third or fourth pane face has a second printed region for forming a viewing region along the vehicle pane. The first and second printed region are each designed with at least a first, second, and third zone. At least one of the first and/or second zones is at least partially printed and the third zones are not printed. The second zones are implemented as a transition region between the first zone and the third zone such that an optical effect of the first printed region is compensated by an optical effect of the second printed region.

Abstract: A liquid cartridge is insertable into an attachment portion of a printing device in an insertion direction and attached thereto in an upright posture. The liquid cartridge includes: a housing defining a liquid chamber; a substrate; a contact; and a memory electrically connected to the contact. The substrate in the upright posture defines a sloped surface facing upward and sloping relative to a first imaginary plane extending in the insertion direction and a widthwise direction orthogonal to the insertion direction and a gravitational direction. The contact is formed on the sloped surface. An acute angle formed between the sloped surface and the first imaginary plane is greater than an acute angle formed between the first imaginary plane and a second imaginary plane passing through: a contact point between the contact and a contact of the device; and a lower end of a wall constituting a holder of the attachment portion.

Abstract: An inkjet printing apparatus includes a first and second tanks, and a printer section including an inkjet head which ejects ink droplets toward a printing medium. The inkjet printing apparatus includes a first supply system which supplies ink from the first tank to the second tank, a second supply system which includes an ink supply pump and supplies ink from the second tank to the printer section, and a remaining amount detection unit which detects the amount of ink remaining in the first tank. The remaining amount detection unit calculates the amount of ink transferred from the first tank to the second tank in a measurement period during which ink is supplied from the first tank to the second tank, based on an increase in the amount of the ink stored in the second tank in the measurement period and the operation state of the pump in the measurement period.

The duckbill valve includes a first flow path formation part including a first flow path and a second flow path formation part including a second flow path having a width increasing gradually toward the first flow path formation part. The second flow path formation part has a slit formed at a tip end part, and the second flow path communicates with a downstream flow path FP2 when the slit is opened. In that example, the redundancy engine may identify a group of nozzles based on a redundancy characteristic of a plurality of print head nozzles of a print head to be received at the print head station and the separation engine may select a color separation operation corresponding to a drop domain associated with the group of nozzles identified by the redundancy engine to operate the print head with redundancy.
