Abstract: The invention relates to a cleaning robot and a material identification method thereof, which is suitable for cleaning robots. The cleaning robot is pre-set with a threshold comparison table and comprises a plurality of comparison thresholds, wherein each comparison threshold defines an interval of accumulated energy information accumulated by the moving plane of different materials within a predetermined period of time. The cleaning robot generates accumulated energy information during the movement, so that the cleaning robot can find the comparison threshold corresponding to the accumulated energy information from the threshold comparison table, and then determines the material of the moving plane contacted by the cleaning robot.

Abstract: A slit lamp microscope of an aspect example includes an illumination system, first photographing system, fixation system, movement mechanism, and controller. The illumination system projects slit light onto an anterior segment of a subject's eye from a first direction. The first photographing system photographs the anterior segment onto which the slit light is being projected, from a second direction different from the first direction. The fixation system outputs fixation light for fixation of the subject's eye. The movement mechanism moves the illumination system and the first photographing system. the controller performs a first control for the movement mechanism to move at least the illumination system and a second control for the first photographing system to photograph the anterior segment a plurality of times in parallel with each other while causing the fixation system to output the fixation light.

Abstract: An apparatus, system, and method monitors the motion, breathing, heart rate and sleep state of subjects, e.g., humans, in a convenient, non-invasive/non-contact, and low-cost fashion. More particularly, the motion, breathing, and heart rate signals are obtained through processing applied to a raw signal obtained in a non-contact fashion, typically using a radio-frequency sensor. Periods of sleep disturbed respiration, or central apnea can be detected through analysis of the respiratory signal. The mean heart rate, and derived information, such as the presence of cardiac arrhythmias can be determined from the cardiac signal. Motion estimates can be used to recognize disturbed sleep and periodic limb movements. The sleep state may be determined by applying a classifier model to the resulting streams of respiratory, cardiac and motion data. A means for display of the sleep state, respiratory, cardiac, and movement status may also be provided.
