Abstract: A sole structure for an article of footwear includes a unitary sole with a first cushioning body having a first hardness and a second cushioning having a second hardness greater than the first hardness. Both the first and the second cushioning bodies are exposed at a periphery of the sole. The second cushioning body may have a wedge surface that interfaces with a lateral extremity of the first cushioning body and angles laterally outward toward a lateral side exterior surface of the sole from a lower extent to an upper extent of the wedge surface. The second cushioning body may underlie the first cushioning body in a portion of a forefoot region of the sole such that the first cushioning body establishes a foot-facing exterior surface and the second cushioning body establishes a ground-facing exterior surface of the sole where the first cushioning body overlies the second cushioning body.

In an exemplary embodiment, the footwear may comprise a sole portion to support and protect a wearer's foot, a strap portion attached to the sole to bind the footwear to a wearer's foot, and at least one toe post passing between a wearer's toes constructed at least partially of memory foam or other cushioning materials.

Abstract: Flexible cleats for flexible footwear (e.g., with natural motion sole structures) include a cleat structure that generally has the appearance of a cleat that has been separated into individual component parts by one or more flex grooves formed into the sole structure. Such structures provide additional flexibility at the areas of the cleats so as to avoid a “stiff” feeling in certain areas and/or during certain activities. The flexible cleats may be arranged around one or more intersections of flex grooves provided in a sole member, optionally in the form of an array of sole pods provided at least in a forefoot area of the sole member.

Abstract: A last system and a method of making the last system are disclosed. The last system includes a last member and an exterior layer. The exterior layer becomes deformable when heated above a characteristic temperature. The method can include forming a braided footwear component on the last system. The exterior layer may be joined with the braided footwear component by heating the last system above the characteristic temperature.

In a most preferred form, the buckle is a belt buckle for a belt including a belt strap having a free end, a connection end and an inner surface having one or more belt strap abutment portions. The body further includes at least one buckle abutment portion extending outwardly or inwardly from the surface. The first end of the body is configured to be connected to a connection end of a belt strap. The at least one buckle abutment portion is configured to engage (i.e., to contact directly or be positioned to act with) at least one belt strap abutment portion. A release can be movably connected to the body. The moveable release (if used) can slide, pivot or otherwise move relative to the at least one buckle abutment portion.

In one embodiment, the outer annular body is a rigid material formed form a process other than injection molding, and the inner annular body is flexible and formed form an injection molded process. The outer annular body is attached to the inner annular body. The inner annular body may be machined to curve from longitudinal ends of the inner annular body to an inner surface of the inner annular body after the inner annular body is joined to the outer annular body in order to provide a comfort fit. Alternatively, the inner annular body may be molded with the comfort fit curvature. In one embodiment, the outer annular body has at least one strain relief recess in an inner surface thereof, and the inner annular body fills said strain relief recess.

A manufacturer can configure the jewelry base so that a user can wear the jewelry system as a ring, necklace, bracelet, or any other type of jewelry. The jewelry base can include a recessed surround and a post recess. A manufacturer can size the charm to fit within the recessed surround and be configured in a variety of ways to lock into the recessed surround. A manufacturer can configure a key in a variety of ways so that a user can unlock the dot fitting from the recessed surround with the key. Once unlocked, the owner can remove the charm from the recessed surround of the jewelry base and can select an alternative dot fitting with a different design to lock into the recessed surround.

The outdoor sunshade umbrella includes: a supporting portion; a sunshade umbrella main body pivotally connected with the supporting portion; and a control portion. The short ribs each has one end articulated to the short-rib tray and another end articulated to a middle portion of one of the long ribs.

The safe includes a cable locking position along a cover translation path with the cover and lower shell encapsulating the second cavity and with the free end of the cable longitudinally retained by the cover and/or the lower shell. The safe also includes an article loading position to expose the second cavity.

Abstract: A device for treating skin includes a skin treatment member, a skin contacting surface, a mounting member for mounting the skin treatment member and the skin contacting surface, and a friction controlling device to control friction between the skin contacting surface and skin to be treated, in at least one controlled friction area of the skin contacting surface when the skin contacting surface is moved over the skin. The friction controlling device introduces a slip motion of the controlled friction area relative to the mounting member in a direction corresponding to a local direction of extension of the skin contacting surface. The device also includes a sensor for detecting a first parameter related to an amount of friction between the skin contacting surface and the skin during use, and the friction controlling device controls a second parameter of the slip motion in dependence on a value of the first parameter.

Abstract: A body-carried device includes a receiving bag, two carrying straps, and a heat dissipation system on the backside of the receiving bag. The heat dissipation system has a pump and an airflow guide tube unit. When a user's lower back directly contacts and pushes the pump, the air in the pump is pushed into the main tube and branch tube of the airflow guide tube unit. Some of the air exits the body-carried device through the main tube while the remainder of the air enters the heat dissipation area of the receiving bag through the branch tube. When the user's lower back moves away from the pump, the pump is elastically restored in shape to draw ambient air through the airflow guide tube unit into the pump.

Abstract: A water storage tank is provided with a water storage bag for storing finished water and a space for accommodating squeezed water outside of the water storage bag. The water storage tank enables a rapid introduction of squeezed water by having a flow guiding groove connected in communication with the space for accommodating squeezed water. A hollow tube extending into the water storage bag is arranged to prevent distortion of the water storage bag, so as to completely squeeze the finished water out of the bag. A cylindrical middle part and two ellipsoidal or hemispherical ends of the water storage tank can improve the stress bearing performance of the water storage tank. A household water purifier using the water storage tank is also described.

Abstract: A portable backpack chair with gear carrying webbing for use in efficiently carrying gear for camping, the beach or the like. The backpack chair provides a novel design that eases the ability to carry a collapsible chair, such as a beach chair, on the user's back along with accompanying gear such as a cooler, beach towel and supplies. The novel design comprises a beach chair with an pack carrier portion and support structure mounted to the bottom portion of the beach chair, and chair back and seat portions that include a plurality of rows of cross webbing fixedly connected to the chair backing and seat fabric at intervals whereby securing straps can be used to attach gear to the fabric portion by looping the securing straps through a spaces between the fabric and the webbing. The portable backpack chair allows the user to quickly and easily pack and carry a chair and gear with minimal effort.

Abstract: Apparatus and associated methods relate to a tool holder having a tool support member rotationally coupled to a outwardly deflecting member, the tool holder configured to transition between a first mode and a second mode, where in the first mode, the tool support member protrudes away from the rest of the tool holder and the outwardly deflecting member extends longitudinally downward, and where in the second mode, the weight of a stowed tool causes the tool support member to rotate in a downward direction while simultaneously rotating/deflecting the outwardly deflecting member away from a downwardly extending back member. In an illustrative example, the tool holder may push a bottom end of a tool away from a user in response to storage of the tool in the tool holder, thus advantageously mitigating or preventing injury or discomfort from the tool banging or brushing up against the user's leg.

Abstract: A pre-packaged paint sample includes a sealed package, paint sealed within the package, and a new paint applicator sealed within the sealed package. For use, the package is shook to apply the paint to the paint applicator. The sealed package is opened, and the paint applicator is removed from the package. The paint applicator and used to apply the relatively small amount of the paint t. The pre-packaged paint sample can be useful in applications where only a small amount of paint is needed such as, for example but not limited to, paint sampling, paint touch up, and the like.
