  • Patent number: 10940070
Abstract: A transfer device is used to help a person move from one seated position at a first location to another seated position at a second location. The device is particularly useful for persons who cannot use their legs because the device is structurally supported to allow the person using the device to support himself by his arms and upper body muscles. The device is supported by the floor joists disposed below the floor. The person can have multiple support frames installed at different locations in his house so that the device can be moved from place to place as needed. Each location only requires a small hole to be cut in the floor with the unused holes being closed by plugs. The device allows the person to place his feet on a pivot disc while bracing his knees or shins against a knee board. The person then grasps handgrips and secures his forearms in an arm support assembly and lifts his lower body out of the first location.

  • Patent number: 10940082
Abstract: A person's sleep disorders are resolved by applying low frequency vibration. Mechanical vibrators (1) present on a first side of a plate type base member (9) set the plate type base member (9) in vibration in such a way that its second surface transmits mechanical vibration. A plurality of first low frequency pulse trains (100; 101, 102, 103 . . . ) of mechanical vibration are conducted to a part of the person's body, at successive time periods (T; T1, T2, T3 . . . ). A frequency (f) of vibration in each individual pulse train (100) is maintained constant (f; fa, fb, fc . . . ) within the range of 20-50 Hz. The pressure pulses (400) of said pulse train (100) have a contact power (I) with said part of the body within the range of 40-70 dB. The constant frequencies (fa, fb, fc . . . ) of the successive pulse trains (100; 101, 102, 103 . . . ) are mutually different and change monotonously and mostly linearly. At least one second pulse train (100) is transmitted to said part of the body.

  • Patent number: 10940105
Abstract: Provided is a resin-linear organopolysiloxane block copolymer which has a high degree of freedom in formulation due to excellent compatibility with other materials, in addition to exhibiting excellent film forming properties and followability of a film, while the stickiness of a film is suppressed. The resin-linear organopolysiloxane block copolymer has: a resin structure (A1) block that has siloxane units represented by R1SiO3/2 (wherein R1 represents a monovalent organic group, a hydroxyl group, or an alkoxy group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms) and SiO4/2; and a linear structure (A2) block represented by (R2SiO2/2)n (wherein n represents a number of 5 or more while R represents an alkyl group, a fluoroalkyl group, or an aryl group) in each molecule. The resin structure (A1) and the linear structure (A2) are linked to each other by an Si—O—Si bond, and an Si atom bonded to the resin structure (A1) constitutes an RSiO3/2 unit.
