Abstract: The present invention relates to interlocking blocks suitable for use at the corners of skeletal frameworks in general and especially at the corners of skeletal frameworks to which rattan mats or other flexible meshes or materials may be attached. Interlocking blocks are disclosed that provide strong and stable corners in skeletal frameworks. Advantageously, rattan or other material may be easily affixed to the interlocking corner blocks while the rattan or other material is slack due to the capability of the interlocking corner blocks to be temporarily disengaged from one another. Tension may then be applied to the attached rattan or other material as the corner blocks are brought into a state of stable and interlocking engagement.

Abstract: A backrest includes a frame having a pair of laterally spaced upright members connected with longitudinally spaced upper and lower members. A flexible shell has opposite sides coupled to the upright members and upper and lower portions coupled to the upper and lower members. The shell includes first and second slots extending longitudinally along opposite sides of the shell inboard of locations where the shell is connected to the upright members, and one or more third slots extending laterally along the lower portion of the shell above a location where the shell is connected to the lower member. Terminal ends of the one or more third slots are spaced apart from lower terminal ends of the first and second slots. In other embodiments, the shell is a three-dimensional molded component having a plurality of openings. In various embodiments, the slots and/or openings provide different levels of compliance to the backrest.

Abstract: A locking positioning pin assembly comprising a shaft extending between opposing first and second ends, a nut threadably engaged with the shaft and rotatable to thread along the shaft between a closed position relatively closer to the first end of the shaft and an open position relatively closer to the second end of the shaft, a knob having a plunger, the knob rotatable about the shaft to cause rotation of the nut. When the nut is in the open position, the knob is translatable to allow the plunger to move between a disengaged position and an engaged position. When the nut is in the closed position, the plunger is in an engaged position and is prevented from translating relative to the nut and the shaft due to abutment of the knob with one or more features of the nut.

Abstract: The current invention is a cooling gel blanket that is filled by weighted material and with materials to disperse heat. The cooling gel blanket is made by laminating a polyester or cotton fabric over a gel cooling core. The cooling gel is a water based polyurethane. The inner blanket core is a flexible cooling gel that transfers heat from the body to the room acting as a heat sink.

The bed linen (100) has cornered edges that can be easily fastened and unfastened using edge fastening means (200). Three types of pocket caddies are presented that allow bed linen to store objects: a directly attached pocket caddy (310), a back wall pocket caddy (320), and a detachable pocket caddy (330). The pocket caddies (300) can either be permanently attached to the bed linen (100) or be fastened/unfastened by the use of pocket caddy fastening means (220). The bed linen (100) may be custom fit by the use of detachable extensions (350). The pocket caddies can be made for a non-permeable material, which prevents soilage of the the bed linen (100) when solids and liquids are present in the pocket caddy (300).

The flexing of the retainer also applies a gripping friction force to securely hold the glass or other container.

Abstract: Adjustable over-the-door hook assemblies with removable door spacers that accommodate different door thicknesses and different types of doors are disclosed. The door spacer may be selectively mounted on a support bracket, or may be removed from the bracket for use with thicker doors. The locking system can lock the lid to the sidewalls. A button is connected to the locking system such that the locking system can unlock one time when the button is actuated. The locking system detects when the lid is opened and automatically locks once the lid is closed again. The locking system also includes a keyhole for a complementary key which can be used to manually unlock the device. Once the locking system is unlocked by the button, it cannot be unlocked again until the key is used at which point the locking system is reset such that the button can be actuated, and the locking system can be unlocked one time.
