Abstract: A process for processing mandarin segments with both acidic and alkaline process water being directly utilized uses an organic acid or an inorganic polyacid instead of a monobasic inorganic acid. Mandarin segments, obtained by separating peeled mandarin into the segments, are treated by the organic acid or inorganic polyacid solution, and then subjected to removal of segment membranes in an alkali solution. The acidic and alkaline water after treatment is collected directly. The collected water can then be filtered and mixed for making an electrolyte beverage or a beverage base, containing multiple functional ingredients such as pectin, flavonoid, pigment, and limonin. Also, the collected water can be used to make dietary fiber having an activity of improving intestinal function.

The process includes contacting a first plant matter having a first cannabinoid to terpene (C/T) ratio with a solvent at a temperature below about 0° C. for at least 1 hour producing a first solvent fraction. The first solvent fraction is separated from the first plant matter and fractionated providing a second solvent fraction, a terpene fraction and a solvent-free cannabinoid fraction. The cannabinoid fraction has a second C/T ratio that is greater than or equal to the first C/T ratio. The cannabinoid fraction can be combined with a soluble fiber thereby producing the cannabinoid adjunct. The cannabinoid adjunct is suitable for use in edible products.

Abstract: aerosol generation device aerosol generation device Provided is an aerosol generating device that can accurately detect the shortage or exhaustion of an aerosol source at low cost. The aerosol generating device includes: a reservoir (116A) that stores an aerosol source or an aerosol base that holds an aerosol source; a load (132) that atomizes the aerosol source with heat generated by using power supplied from a power source (110); a sensor (112) that outputs a value related to the temperature of the load (132); and a control unit (106) configured to determine the occurrence of exhaustion of the aerosol source in the reservoir (116A) or the aerosol base on the basis of the cooling velocity derived from the output value of the sensor (112) in a cooling process after the load (132) has been heated to a temperature higher than or equal to a temperature at which the aerosol source can be atomized.

Abstract: Provided is an aerosol generation device with which it is possible to inexpensively observe a heater cooling process with high accuracy, and also possible to inexpensively detect a shortage or depletion of an aerosol source with high accuracy. An aerosol generation device includes an aerosol storage source; a load that atomizes the aerosol source by generating heat by power supplied from a power source, and has an electrical resistance value that changes depending on the temperature; a sensor that detects the electrical resistance value of the load; and a control unit that is configured so as to monitor the cooling process of the load after the temperature of the load has risen to or exceeded a temperature at which the aerosol source can be atomized.

Abstract: A technology is provided that can flexibly adjust power consumption in a system in which a charging device for charging an aerosol generation device communicates with a terminal device, the power consumption being due to said communication. An operating method for a terminal device communicates with a charging device for charging an aerosol generation device. The method includes a step in which charging information relating to a battery of the charging device is acquired from the charging device; a step in which a charging status of the battery is evaluated on the basis of the charging information; and a step in which the possibility or impossibility of communication between the terminal device and the charging device is determined on the basis of the charging status.

The first pouch panel and the second pouch panel each have a first side edge that is attached to a front edge of the first side panel and a second side edge that is attached to a front edge of the second side panel such that the second pouch panel is disposed over the first pouch panel to define a pocket therebetween. The first pouch panel defines a hole therethrough that is configured to receive genitalia therethrough. The pouch is configured to secure a bladder system within the pocket. The second pouch panel defines a top and bottom opening of the pocket that are each capable of permitting the bladder system to pass therethrough.

Abstract: A garment for postnatal women for absorbing postpartum bleeding and providing soothing effects during post-partum recovery. The maternal under garment includes an exterior layer having a waist opening and a pair of leg openings. An interior layer overlaps the exterior layer along a front panel and a rear panel of the garment. An upper perimeter of the front panel includes a V-shape, wherein a nadir of the V-shape is centrally positioned on the front panel to comfortably rest below a stomach area of a woman. The maternal under garment includes an adjustable waist band to retract as the stomach area becomes smaller postpartum. Multiple layers are disposed between the interior and exterior layer, such as an absorbent layer for absorbing postpartum bleeding, a cooling layer for soothing genitals during postpartum recovery, and an antibacterial layer for assisting with pain relief and the healing process after birth.

Abstract: A method for treating a knitted foot garment that provides added cushion to the knitted material of the sock includes the steps of heating a liquid polymer mixture, forcing gas into the mixture, agitating the mixture to create a bubble infused mixture, injecting the bubble infused mixture into a polymer template, attaching the polymer template to the outer sole of a knitted foot garment, and cooling the gas infused polymer mixture. A knitted foot garment includes upper, heel, toe, and sole knitted fabric portions integrally woven together to define a chamber. A plurality of encapsulated polymer pads are attached to and protrude from an outer surface of either the heel, toe or sole portions. The polymer pads contain gas bubbles to provide increased cushioning to the sole of the foot garment.
