The first, second, third, and fourth sets of tensile restraints may be configured so that, upon securing of one or more structures to tighten the upper and connect the sets of tensile restraints, two linear axes of tension with anchors located in the forefoot and heel region extend diagonally across the article from one side to the other.

When the knob is rotated relative to the case in a fastening direction, the spool is not affected by the locking unit and is allowed to rotate in the fastening direction for fastening the lace. When the knob is rotated relative to the case in a loosening direction, the spool is allowed to freely rotate in the loosening direction to release the lace. As the knob is engaged with the housing via an engagement between the mounted portion and the engaged portion, the housing, the locking unit, the knob and the spool are combined and restricted.

Abstract: The invention provides a method for assisting a joining of a vamp and a sole by vacuum positioning. Initially, the method is that placing a shoe last in a vamp to be joined, coating a liquid medium to a side of the vamp to be joined with a sole or a side of the sole to be joined with the vamp, and combining the vamp with the sole. Afterward, placing the vamp and the sole in a bag, performing a vacuum operation on the bag to press the vamp and the sole, performing a microwave heating operation on the bag to heat the liquid medium to make the vamp join with the sole, and finally taking out the joined vamp and sole from the bag to obtain a finished product.

Abstract: A cufflink with interchangeable setting that allows for an ornamental element to be inserted, removed, and replaced is provided. The cufflink with interchangeable setting comprises a plurality of elongated shafts, a plurality of holding arms, and a securing mechanism. When the interchangeable setting is in its secured position, the ornamental element is immobilized by the holding arms and cannot be removed. The ornamental element may be removed and replaced when the interchangeable setting is in an open position.

The central axis structure can be connected to a skeletal frame structure comprising a plurality of arms having a first end connected to the central axis structure and a second free end. The plurality of arms can be moveably connected to the central axis structure, such that the arms can be retracted into or extended from the base body structure. In some embodiments, the base body structure comprises open portions along its length. In some embodiments, the retractable umbrella frame devices further comprise one or more secondary support structures at least partially surrounding the base body structure. A plurality of jewelry hanging hooks are secured to an upper portion of the cloth sheet. One end of a necklace is attached to a single hanging hook, while the opposite end is tucked into the pocket. Much like a roll-up blind, the cloth sheet can be extended to a desired length by tugging on the weighted rod. Another tug will cause the roll-up mechanism to release and wind up the cloth sheet around the tube.
