The secure hold hook may include a body having first and second portions and a pair of opposed surfaces, a hook monolithically formed with the body, the hook extending from a first of the pair of opposed surfaces and a first adhesive adhered with a second of the pair of opposed surfaces. The secure hold hook may also include a second adhesive extending from the first adhesive, and a hinge positioned between the first and second portions, the hinge configured to permit the first and second portions to pivot with respect to one another.

Abstract: The present invention is a blanket for newborns and infants that includes an outer cover, a first bumper, a second bumper, and a third bumper. The outer cover has a top sheet and a bottom sheet. The top sheet is sewn to the bottom sheet. The first bumper, the second bumper, and the third bumper have a plurality of panels joined to form a tubular bag sized to house an amount of a filler material therein. The filler material is charged into the tubular bag. The tubular bag is securely closed after the tubular bag is filled with the filler material such that the filler material remains within the tubular bag during use. The first bumper and the second bumper are secured respectively to two opposite sides of the outer cover. The first bumper and the second bumper are in spaced parallel relationship so as to provide a centrally disposed confinement area on the outer cover. The third bumper positioned between the first bumper and the second bumper is secured to the outer cover.

Abstract: An automated cup lid assembly includes a lid that is positionable on a beverage cup for closing the beverage cup. The lid has a drinking aperture extending therethrough for drinking. A closure is slidably coupled to the lid and the closure is positionable between an open position and a closed position. The closure covers the drinking aperture when the closure is in the closed position and the drinking aperture is exposed when the closure is in the open position. A motion unit is integrated into the lid and the motion unit is in mechanical communication with the closure. The motion unit urges the closure into the open position when the motion unit senses that the beverage cup is near a user's mouth. Additionally, the motion unit urges the closure into the closed position when the motion unit no longer senses that the beverage cup is near the user's mouth.

Abstract: A method for manufacturing flexible paper straws and flexible paper straws are revealed. The method includes the steps of preparing a paper tube which is a spiral tube by glue and paper, inserting a support shaft into the paper tube axially, placing the paper tube with the support shaft between a first roller and a second roller before curing of the glue while the first and second rollers are in parallel and having a plurality of circular grooves on a cylindrical surface thereof, rolling the paper tube by the first and second rollers to form a corrugated portion on a part of the paper tube, squeezing the corrugated portion to compress the corrugated portion for a period of time for curing the glue and holding shape of the corrugated portion, and removing the support shaft to get a flexible paper straw which is bendable at the corrugated portion.

Abstract: This invention is an inexpensive beverage niche for a system to manage food and drink. Provided as a separate entity for attachment, this is a new concept. Affixed to a food tray or paper food boat, it helps secure a beverage container such as a beer tasting glass from sliding, tipping, and contacting with food also carried on the tray. The invention's attachable beverage niche facilitates carrying food and drink in one hand, while releasing the other hand from any obligation to continuously hold a drink container.

Abstract: A mounting rod assembly for installing a curtain is provided which comprises a main rod and a telescopic rod; one end of the telescopic rod stretches into the main rod and can slide along the length direction of the main rod, and the main rod is provided with a locking member for stopping the sliding of the telescopic rod; through the cooperation of the telescopic rod and the main rod, the entire mounting rod assembly can be fitted to the window frames of various sizes during installation. The installation length is adjusted by adjusting the length of the telescopic rod extending out of the main rod, and then locking and positioning the telescopic rod with the locking member, which makes the curtain more applicable and the installation more flexible.

Abstract: A system and method for increasing the volume for showers bounded by shower curtains and/or shower curtain liners. This system uses a curved outward shower curtain liner device. This device generally comprises a foldable body, comprising a flexible, water impermeable, material configured with the body left sides and body right sides capable of reversibly folding and unfolding from a first shorter folded width to a second longer unfolded width. The shower curtain liner body further comprises a plurality of rigid or semi-rigid supports disposed from top to bottom. At least some of these supports are configured to be capable of assuming a curved state. In this curved state, portions of the support in between the support top and bottom assume a curvature with a displacement of at least six inches, thus causing the shower curtain liner to take a curved state, effectively increasing the volume of the shower.

Abstract: A cleaning unit for cleaning floors comprising a drivetrain, a main controller, a safety module, and one or more cleaning aggregates for cleaning a floor upon which the cleaning unit moves. The main controller may operate the cleaning unit in one of an autonomous mode in which cleaning unit autonomously navigates while cleaning the floor or a manual mode in which the cleaning unit is maneuverable under an applied external force while cleaning the floor. The safety module may be responsive to a plurality of safety inputs such that if a safety input indicates an unsafe condition, the safety module initiates a lockout to stop movement by the cleaning unit. In the autonomous mode, the safety module may be responsive to a first set of safety inputs and in the manual operating mode, the safety module may be responsive to a second set of safety inputs.
