The a display case adapted to reversibly hold a display board near the top of the display case through a magnetic bond between the display case and the display board. Mounting hardware for the window covering is engaged with the display board. The window covering is engaged with mounting hardware so that the window covering with the mounting hardware, and the display board may be removed from the display case such that a different mounting board with a different set of mounting hardware and a different window covering may be inserted in the display case to demonstrate the appearance and functionality of the window covering.

Abstract: A pillow configured as a durable cushion as well as a more comfortable cushion. The pillow may include a single chamber with two sides extending between two different materials. A cushion may be positioned within the chamber and may be of such dimensions to fit within only one side of the chamber. When the cushion is positioned the first side of the chamber the second side of the chamber may include a void and the material on the second side may be rolled up and folded into an envelope on the first side maintaining the cushion. Alternatively, a user can move the cushion to the second side and the voided material of the first side can be rolled up into the envelope on the second side. The first side may be a more durable material, such as nylon, and the second side may be a softer material, such as cotton-jersey.

The harness attachment and support apparatus utilizing the connected coercion of closed loops comprised with the weight of the user's head, neck, and upper torso restrains the user's head from moving laterally or frontally therefore allowing the user to repose in a vertically seated position.

Abstract: A beverage container with a tactile indication of a properly open position for drinking. The beverage container includes a base, a collar, and a cap having an annular seal gasket for opening and closing the container for pouring/drinking. The improvement is a collar stop located on the collar, together with a pair of seal stops extending from the seal gasket and forming a notch therebetween. Rotation of the cap to open the container becomes more difficult as the collar stop interferes with the leading one of the seal stops. Continued rotation to seat the collar stop in the notch provides a tactile indication that the cap has rotated to the properly open position and further rotation may be avoided.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to (i) a method for preparing a food with a food preparation apparatus and (ii) an electrically operable spice dispensing device for performing the method. The food preparation apparatus has a food preparation space. The spice dispensing device comprises a spice chamber for storing a spice and a dosing device through which a spice can be removed from the spice chamber in a dosed manner. Even without expert knowledge, the present disclosure enables seasoning without any errors during the preparation of a food.

Abstract: A drinking straw and a method for manufacturing the same a biodegradable straw is disclosed. The drinking straw can include a first thin, metallic layer, a second layer of biodegradable material such as paper, and optionally a third thin, metallic layer. The layers can be removably secured by applying compression, adhesive, and/or thermal energy.

Abstract: A forearm tray for carrying heated objects. The forearm tray has a wrist notch dimensioned and adapted so that when strapped to a forearm of a user, the wearer can bend their wrist and hand upward as normal. The forearm tray may have a non-slip platform for balancing the heated objects. Between the platform and the forearm of the user is a baseplate so that the heat of the heated objects can not burn or hurt the wearer. The forearm tray may be removably strapped to the forearm so that when not in use, the present invention can be conveniently stored in a waiter's apron pocket.

Abstract: A mailbox assembly that may be provided on a surface and freely movable by an end user from one location to another without digging a hole for the post. The mailbox assembly includes a post, a mail receptacle on an upper poste end, and a base on a lower base end. The base includes one or more hollow cavities for retaining ballast material to thereby move a center of gravity of the mailbox assembly towards the bottom surface, such that the mailbox can withstand 100 N of force applied perpendicular to the post without toppling. The post may also have one or more cavities for holding ballast material.

Abstract: An artificial Christmas tree includes a central trunk broken into at least two separate portions including a fixed trunk portion and at least one rotating trunk portion. The fixed trunk extends up from an underlying base. Rotating trunks rotatably attach at midpoints thereof at least indirectly to an upper end of the fixed trunk. Limbs are pivotably attached to the rotating trunks with optional lights coupled thereto. These limbs pivot between a perpendicular orientation extending from the rotating trunks and a collapsed configuration closer to a centerline of the rotating trunks. The rotating trunks can be pivoted from a first collapsed configuration with a first end above a second end to a deployed configuration with the second end above the first end. During pivoting, the limbs attached to the rotating trunk transition between a collapsed to a deployed configuration automatically. A wheeled base and cover further facilitate storage and deployment.
