Abstract: This invention pertains to the field of medical diagnostics which is used to take a sample of blood vessel, called BLOOD VESSEL SAMPLE, for investigation purposes. The blood vessel sample kit composed of flexible clips attached with the stand, having tooth on the lower surface on either side of the clips. The blood vessel sample kit also having a triple scissors with a spring handle and three sets of upper and lower blades, purposed to cut off a small portion of the blood vessel, to make the vascular endothelium exposed, easy for culturing. The blood vessel sample is taken from the VISIBLE VASCULAR WEB of the SUPRA TENON VASCULAR WEB. The purpose of the blood vessel sample taking is to study the VASCULAR ENDOTHELIAL RESPONSE TO DIABETES—VERD, which is a part of conjunctival vasculopathy.

Abstract: A system for treating an aneurysm comprises an elongate flexible shaft and an expandable member. An expandable scaffold is disposed over the expandable member and may be expanded from a collapsed configuration to an expanded configuration. A double-walled filling structure is disposed over the scaffold and has an outer wall and an inner wall. The filling structure is adapted to be filled with a hardenable fluid filing medium so that the outer wall conforms to an inside surface of the aneurysm and the inner wall forms a substantially tubular lumen to provide a path for blood flow. In the expanded configuration the scaffold engages the inner wall of the filling structure. A tether is releasably coupled with the filling structure and the flexible shaft thereby constraining axial movement of the structures relative to each other.

Abstract: A bone screw for sacroiliac joint fusion is characterized by a longitudinal bone screw and a cylindrical sleeve received on a proximal end of the bone screw. The sleeve has axially extending fins or flutes on its outer surface that extend generally from one end of the sleeve to the other end of the sleeve. This feature allows the sleeve to resist reverse rotation which, in turn, aids in preventing back-out of the bone screw once installed. The bone screw has a self-tapping tip that allows the bone screw to be installed without need for a pilot hole, and self-harvesting geometry that gathers and retains bone shavings in and along the bone screw that are produced by bone screw installation for use as graft for bone fusion.

Abstract: Implant systems in some embodiments such as midline incision implant systems may generally include an insertion guide assembly and a plate, which define fixation trajectories. In other embodiments such as a percutaneous implant system may generally include a first a plate, an insertion guide, and a separate second insertion guide, which define fixation trajectories. Surgical methods include use of the implant systems with the plates, and use of plates alone, for installing bone fusion systems.
