Abstract: A belt that attaches to the inner waistband of any article of clothing. Traditional belts can only be used with an article of clothing that has belt loops. This invention is comprised of two parts, part one is a fabric strip which attaches to the waistband and includes the male half a zipper that is enclosed in the cavity of the fabric strip. Part two of the belt includes female half of a zipper which allows it to be attached to part one of the belt. Part two has elastic bands that are exposed at both ends of the belt. The elastic bands have notches that are selected and secured on a button which then creates a snug fit by cinching around the waist of the user. The user can easily attach the belt to any article of clothing and part two is removeable for safe laundering.

The strap 20 and garter 30 extend through the opening 40 in the surface of the shorts or pants to the outer surface 14, so that the garter 30 operates on the outer surface 14 of the shorts or pants to be attached to the socks 50 of the user.

Abstract: Described herein are caps and headwear articles that include a crown with an annular base shaped to fit the head of a wearer and an interchangeable or removable visor having a first and second opposing major surfaces. A headwear article can comprise a crown. A first magnetic material can be coupled to a front portion of the crown. A visor can have a shade portion and an upwardly extending lip portion. The shade portion can have a rear edge to which the upwardly extending lip portion is coupled. A second magnetic material can be coupled to the upwardly extending lip portion of the visor. The crown and the visor can be configured to be selectively and releasably coupled to one another through magnetic attraction between the first magnetic material and the second magnetic material.

Abstract: A garment worn by a wearer has an impact absorbing material comprising arrays of various hexagonal or other deformable polygonal-shaped structures positioned between an exterior surface and an interior surface. When force is applied to the exterior surface, the structures of the impact absorbing materials deform (e.g., buckle) in a desired manner, reducing the force received by the interior surface.

Abstract: A helmet assembly having a helmet, a mandible guard, and an accessory attachment system that is used to selectively attach and secure the mandible guard to the helmet is disclosed. In some embodiments, the mandible guard is arranged to be detached from a first side of the helmet while remaining secured to a second side of the helmet. In such embodiments, the mandible guard may be moved outwardly and away from a wearer as the mandible guard pivots around the accessory attachment system attached to the second side of the helmet.

Abstract: The Lace Ratchet System (LRS) is a parallel configuration of two Lace Ratchet Devices (LRD) which facilitate two laces fastening. The LRD has two states: “active” and “inactive”. In the active state the device works as unidirectional lace ratchet allowing the lace to be pulled forwards but restricting any lace motion backwards. After fastening the lace remains fastened until the LRD is switched into inactive state by manually releasing a latch. Each LRD has a turning gate rotatably installed diagonally in a channel with a sharp metallic front end. A resilient plate serves as preloaded spring that keeps the LRD in active position when the spring is not released. The LRD's smooth front end side and smooth channels' floors minimize lace wear. The LRS can be coupled with a clamp which clamps the laces' front ends to prevent dangling. The entire LRS except the blades is made of plastic.

Abstract: The Hidden Blade Belt Ratcheting Device (HB-BRD) facilitates unidirectional belt fastening and fast release. The HB-BRD includes a turning gate rotatably installed diagonally in a channel. The turning gate has a hidden sharp blade front which operates below on the lower belt surface avoiding visible scratches. Attached at the rear is a resilient plate which acts as a spring. The HB-BRD has two states: “active” and “inactive”. In the active state the device works as a belt ratchet i.e. allowing the belt to be pulled forwards but restricting any belt motion backwards. In the inactive state the ratcheting is disabled and the belt is released. Usually, the BRD is kept in active state by a preloaded resilient plate. After fastening, the belt remains fastened until the HB-BRD is switched manually into inactive state by pulling a latch. The blade's smooth side and channel's smooth surfaces minimize belt wear.

Abstract: A fastener having two strap ends connected by an elastomeric member is described. The elastomeric member has sufficient elasticity to allow a user to increase the distance of separation between the two strap ends by applying a separation force, while providing enough tension to return the two strap ends to close proximity when the user releases the separation force. The elastomeric member may also have an adjustable elasticity to accommodate different applications with different load forces. The two strap ends may each be attached to two connectors.

Abstract: A Reversible Collapsible Security Pouch for Electronic Devices. The Pouch is provided in a variety of different configurations, and further are designed to accommodate a variety of different items. A key-fob-accommodating version is small enough to be attachable to the key fob when in a compacted condition so that it can always be attached to the key fob. The key fob version includes a pair of stretchable wrapping loops that allows the user to roll the pouch into a compact roll and then secure it in the rolled condition using one of the wrapping loops. In some larger pouch versions, there may be closure buttons around which a wrapping loop could be wrapped to secure the closure of the pouch. Other versions may include the ability to close and lock the pouch to secure the encapsulated device. All versions include a Faraday cage integrated into the pouch assembly.

Abstract: A system and techniques for identifying an absence of any contact fitting lens in an user-friendly manner for automated replenishment. The system includes an assembly stocked with fitting lenses of know types that are depletable from known compartment locations of the assembly. Further, depletion of a compartment through the natural course of fitting lens distribution to customers results in the automatic display of a visual indicator at the corresponding compartment location. Thus, an imaging application of the front of the assembly may be utilized to immediately ascertain lens types of the assembly which are depleted. As a result, the image may be used to facilitate automatic replenishment of such depleted fitting lenses.

The identified attributes relate to reflectance and may refer to features such as irregular-looking light and dark spots, age-spots, scars, and bruises. Identified attributes may also relate to the surface topology of the skin, for more precisely enhancing surface irregularities such as bumps and wrinkles. Feature mapping may be used, for example to make cheeks appear pinker and cheekbones more prominent.
