Abstract: There is disclosed a hair fastener. The hair fastener is in the form of a loop for securing a log of hair within the loop. The hair fastener has an inner elastic core and an outer fabric enveloping the inner elastic core, wherein the elastic core is made of a band with a width of 2 to 6 mm and a thickness of 1 to 3 mm, and made of silicone or a material of thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) selected from the consisting of hydrogenated styrenic block copolymers (SEBS), thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) and thermoplastic vulcanizates (TPV). The hair fastener is adapted to assume a first, default, configuration in which an opening defined and surrounded by the loop has a first area and a second, fully expanded, configuration in which the opening defined and surrounded by the loop has a second area.

An atomization device includes an atomizer and a chamber. The atomizer is disposed on the annular cap and includes a spray hole for ejecting a spray towards the passageway. The atomizer is electrically connected to the control device of the body. The chamber is located in the body or the annular cap, receives a liquid, and guides the liquid to the atomizer.

Abstract: In some embodiments, an apparatus includes a holder including a first surface, a second surface, a body portion in between the first surface and the second surface, and a protrusion. The first surface is configured to be coupled to a mounting surface. A magnet is disposed within the body such that a portion of the second surface is magnetically attractable to a first portion of an article. The protrusion is configured to engage a second portion of the article. The article being removably coupled to the holder when the first portion of the article is magnetically coupled against the portion of the second surface and the second portion of the article is engaged with the protrusion.

Abstract: Nail polish remover product for toe or fingernails is applied to a painted or artificial nail and left thereon for a predetermined period of time to dissolve the nail polish and/or nail bonding agent. Preferably a color change occurs to depict the appropriate dwelling time to dissolve the nail polish. Certain embodiments include odor reducing components. Preferably the product is layered and includes an exterior odor impervious material, an encapsulated acetone or nail polish removing agent, an absorbent layer, and optionally a peelable backing, with the product being sized to accommodate contact with a person's nail.

Abstract: A system and method is provided for hair dye color conversion in which a hair dye color mixture of one manufacture is matched and reproduced using a hair dye color mixture of an another manufacture. The system and method duplicates a resultant hair color from a hair dye color mixture that was created using hair dye colors of a first hair dye color line using a different hair dye color mixture that was created using hair dye colors of a second hair dye color line. The system and method applies a modified Kubelka-Munk transformation of RGB values to the mathematical RGB data of the multiple hair dye colors for the first manufacturer color line, multiplies the modified KM transformed values of the multiple hair dye colors for the first manufacturer color line by their respective percentages and then summing them, and retransforms the summed modified KM transformed values of the multiple hair dye colors back into mathematical RGB values in the original RGB color space.

Abstract: A thermally insulated solar rechargeable backpack is provided. The device includes a plurality of compartments that are thermally insulated. The plurality of compartments may keep items placed therein either hot or cold. The backpack includes a plurality of zippers to maintain the temperature in the compartments and keep the contents from falling out of the backpack. Additionally, the sides of the backpack have at least one storage pocket. Moreover, a solar panel is disposed on the top of the backpack to power a plurality of USB charging ports for charging electronic devices. In this way, the insulated backpack may be utilized to thermally insulate items to keep them either hot or cold in separate compartments during their transportation and utilize solar energy to provide power through a plurality of charging ports.

In an illustrative example, the mask retaining lanyard device may include an accessory retaining lanyard, an accessory retaining module coupled to the accessory retaining lanyard for releasably couple to an accessory object, and a mask retaining lanyard portion coupled distally to the accessory retaining lanyard and configured to releasably couple to a facemask. The mask retaining lanyard portion, for example, may include two mask retaining arms. For example, each of the mask retaining arms may be fixedly attached to the accessory retaining lanyard in one end and configured to releasably couple to the facemask in the other end. Various embodiments may advantageously allow the facemask to be selectively operated between a stowage mode and a deployed mode while providing convenient access to often used accessories.

Stabilizing side members may connect accessories including horns, bells, and mirrors to the flexible strap. The controller is configured to wirelessly connect to EPMDs. The taillight operates as a brake light.

Abstract: Apparatus selectively attachable to the outer case of a cellular telephone or other similarly sized portable device. The apparatus desirably includes a housing containing an elastomeric band that is principally disposed inside the housing when the apparatus is not in use. When the apparatus of the invention is attached to the outer case of a cell phone, a portion of the elastomeric band is manually withdrawn through an opening in the housing and can be releasably latched in place to form a flexible, continuous loop outside the housing. The flexible, continuous loop can be used as a selectively retractable carrying strap when the cell phone or other similar device is not in use. Alternatively, the flexible continuous loop can be used, for example, to support the cell phone around a user's neck for hands-free use when the user is engaged in other activities.

Abstract: An articulating hook apparatus for hanging an article from a structure includes a housing. The hook apparatus having connectors that extend from the housing. Each of the connectors including a plurality of links that connect pivotally to each other in series. The plurality of links having a starting link and a last link. The starting link connects to respective connectors. The last link connects to an articulating hook. The connectors operate between a retracted position and an extended position. The connectors retract and allow the plurality of links and the hooks to fold adjacent to the perimeter of the housing. The connectors enable both a “J”- and an “S”-shaped configuration.

Abstract: A biodegradable replaceable toothbrush head preferably for an electric toothbrush. The replacement head can be configured to be removably connected and operated by one or more conventional electric power/drive units. Various biodegradable materials can be used alone or in combination for constructing the replacement head and in certain embodiments the biodegradable replacement can be constructed from solely or primarily corn starch or bamboo. In another non-limiting embodiment, the biodegradable replacement head can be construction from about 60-80% polylactic acid, and about 20-40% talcum.

The work station can pivot, with the linkage arm, about the fixed member to be selectively positioned in multiple positions. The pedestal may be height adjustable and the work surface may be rotatable atop the pedestal. Alternatively, the work station can include two pedestals and the linkage arm can be rotatably connected to one of the pedestals to rotate the work station, as well as to pivot the work station about the fixed member. A work space includes the work station and at least one wall panel, and a work space system includes multiple work spaces. Work stations within respective work spaces can be selectively positioned in focused or collaborative configurations.

A disclosed example apparatus includes a distance sensor to measure a distance from a computing device on a table surface to a floor surface, an orientation sensor to measure an orientation of the distance sensor relative to a direction of gravity, at least one memory, instructions, and processor circuitry to execute the instructions to calculate at least one of a first height of the table surface from the floor surface or a second height of at least a portion of the computing device to the floor surface based on the orientation and the distance.

Abstract: A workstation is disclosed. The workstation includes a tabletop or desktop having a work surface assembly that has a base structure, a cover member, and a brake assembly. The cover member is supported by the base structure and defines a work surface arranged at an inclination relative to a horizontal surface. The cover member is adapted to slide relative to the base structure between an extended position and a retracted position. Moreover, the brake assembly is adapted to prevent the sliding of the cover member relative to base structure and holds the cover member stationary with the base structure.

Abstract: Embodiments of the invention include an apparatus for positioning an electronic display. The apparatus can be combined with an existing work surface to provide a multi-position workstation. In some cases the apparatus includes a mounting portion configured to support an electronic display and a keyboard. The mounting portion may be movable with respect to the work surface between multiple positions, including for example, a sitting position and a standing position. Methods for positioning an electronic display and a keyboard are also included.

Abstract: A school desktop cover for special needs students that is easy to install and remove. The cover can be strapped about (and beneath) a typical elementary school desktop so as to not interfere with the regular use of the desktop and/or the positioning of a student's legs there beneath. Full desktop varieties are intended as well as partial desktops and mat strip/straps. Each version contains a plurality of sensory workstation activities. A portable version for transporting between classrooms, or for the student to use while eating or at home is also anticipated. A method of use is also claimed.

The cabinet may further include a bracket assembly including a first portion coupled to the housing, a second portion coupled to the drop-down assembly, and a spring assembly configured to pivotably couple the first and second portions. The spring assembly may be configured store mechanical energy as the drop-down assembly is moved from the closed configuration to the open configuration.

Abstract: A RTA recliner where the recliner mechanism is attached to various component parts through tool-less connections. In a disassembled configuration, the RTA recliner mechanism and component parts are constructed and arranged to fit within a substantially rectangular container with greater volume utilization. Components include, but are not limited to, a drive tube assembly and a handle assembly.

Abstract: A compact recliner mechanism for use in theater seating units is provided that allows the seat to move linearly as the seating unit moves from the closed position to the reclined position. The mechanism has a back bracket coupled to the seat plate and base plate with a linkage that moves a projected point representing the top of the back of the seating unit downwardly in vertical plane as the seating unit moves from the closed position to the reclined position. In other aspects, the seating unit has an armrest linkage coupled between the seat plate and the back that maintains an armrest lever at a horizontal orientation. Additionally, in some aspects, the base plate of the seating unit may have an adjustment feature that limits recline of the seating unit, to accommodate theater seating with different riser dimensions, and/or legs with an adjustment feature to level the seating unit on existing theater floors.

Abstract: A packable chair is provided that is transformable between multiple configurations, including a storage configuration and a chair configuration. In the storage configuration, the portions of the packable chair are arranged and fastened to define an enclosed volume in which containers and other items can be stored. A user can wear the packable chair like a backpack in this storage configuration to transport the contents from, for example, a car to a location on a beach. Then, the contents can be removed from the enclosed volume, and the portions can be rearranged to form the chair configuration where a user can lounge and access the contents of the containers. The chair is also capable of achieving a travel configuration in which the chair can be worn as a backpack for convenient transportation without stowing a user's items.

Abstract: A cam adjustment device for lifting and lowering an armrest includes an armrest assembly and a support frame. The armrest assembly includes a connection base. The support frame has a support rod. The connection base is slidably connected to the support rod. A locking mechanism includes a cam wrench disposed on the connection base and rotatably installed on the connection base. The cam wrench is rotated such that a cam on the cam wrench presses and acts on the support rod. In a locked state, the cam wrench presses the support rod such that the connection base and the support rod are kept to be relatively fixed. In an unlocked state, the cam wrench is rotated to allow the cam to be released from the support rod, such that the connection base is lifted, lowered, and adjusted relative to the support rod.

One or more modular receivers may include one or more quick-connect receptacles adapted to receive corresponding one or more quick connectors of one or more peripheral adapters to quickly connect and disconnect the modular peripheral adapters to facilitate rapid reconfiguration of chairs, desks, tables, or other furniture for different applications. A variety of peripherals and accessories can be attached to one or more modular peripheral adapters to create peripheral assemblies that can be rapidly interchanged by rapid connection to or disconnection from any installed modular housings to reconfigure furniture for different applications. The modular receivers may be attached to a desk, table, or other furnishings or manufactured as a part of office, computer, or gaming chairs, desks, tables, or other furnishings.

Abstract: A seating unit includes a seat back having a front side and a back side, and a seat bottom having a top side and an underside. A first heating element of the seating unit, attached to the back side of the seat back, can be configured to deliver first heating through the seat back to a user while seated in the seating unit when electrically powered. A second heating element of the seating unit, attached to the underside of the seat bottom, can be configured to deliver second heating through the seat bottom to the user while seated in the seating unit when electrically powered. The seating unit can further include circuitry configured to facilitate delivery of power to the first heating element and the second heating element.

Abstract: A retractable furniture carriage is capable of supporting a piece of furniture off of a floor, and allowing the furniture to be rolled across the floor. The retractable furniture carriage includes wheels mounted by a frame to the furniture. The frame can be pivoted for moving the wheels between a deployed position in which they engage and support the furniture to a stowed position in which the wheels are off the floor. Actuation of the frame can be carried out from the side of the furniture through frame structure largely located underneath the furniture.

Abstract: A method and apparatus to adjust the angle of a surface is disclosed. The apparatus includes a measuring device having hardware components capable of generating a measurement of the position of the measuring device relative to the earth's gravity and circuitry capable of communicating the measurement to a controller and at least one electro-mechanical device capable of displacing the surface connected to the controller. The surface may be a bed and the present invention is particularly useful when the surface is a bed in a camper van. When the camper van is parked on a hill, the present invention provides a convenient method for making the bed inside the camper van level, or at an angle preferred by the user, for comfortable sleeping.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a storage bed with a horizontally lifted bed board, comprising a bed body provided with a storage cavity, a bed board frame covering the bed body, parallelogram lifting mechanisms symmetrically arranged on two sides of the bed board frame, and driving devices, wherein the parallelogram lifting mechanisms are connected to inner side walls of the storage cavity and the bed board frame, and the driving devices drive the parallelogram lifting mechanisms to push the bed board frame to be horizontally lifted towards a footboard direction of the bed body. The parallelogram lifting mechanisms are utilized to push the bed board frame to be horizontally lifted towards the footboard direction of the bed body, so that the bed board frame is prevented from coming into collision against a headboard in a lifting process; it is unnecessary to take down bedclothes when articles are stored or taken.

The compartment and bumper padding material can be provided to create many shapes formed above the mattress material.

Abstract: The disclosure relates to a bunk, in particular for a vehicle cabin. The bunk comprises a base plate, an upper layer, a plurality of supporting members vertically compressible and spaced apart from one another substantially over the whole surface of the bunk, a plurality of pressure sensors which are part of the upper layer and in an adaptable area comprising at least one area of the bunk, a moving mechanism configured to move at least some of the supporting members in the adaptable area parallel to the base plate, and a control unit connected to the pressure sensors and the moving mechanism. Abstract: A carrier for holding an infant is disclosed. The carrier includes: a carriage assembly and a back support assembly removably connected to the carriage assembly. The carriage assembly includes an adjustable carriage pocket. The size of the adjustable carriage pocket is adjustable to support the infant in a cradle position in which a direction from a head of the infant to a hip of the infant is substantially perpendicular to a direction from a head of a user to a hip of the user. Abstract: The present invention provides a baby walker, comprising a frame structure, the frame structure is composed of a bottom plate, side plates, a game panel and idler wheel supports on the two sides of the game panel, the side plates are correspondingly arranged on the two sides of the bottom plate, the idler wheel supports are fixed to the outer side faces of the side plates, idler wheels are arranged on the lower portions of the idler wheel supports, and the game panel is arranged on the front side of the frame structure. The present invention overcomes the defects of single function, and has teaching significance while improving interestingness, stability and safety.

Abstract: A display refrigerator or freezer comprises a refrigerated storage space. Air in the refrigerated storage space is separated from air exterior to the display refrigerator or freezer by an air curtain established by one or more fans which blow air towards one or more air outlets via a cooling heat exchanger and which recover air in the air curtain via one or more air inlets for recirculation to the one or more air outlets. The refrigerated storage space has a base shelf. One or more air inlet ducts are arranged between the one or more air inlets and the one or more fans such that the air recovered via the one or more air inlets is directed by the one or more air inlet ducts towards the one or more fans. The one or more air inlet ducts, in combination with at least a portion of the base shelf, define at least a portion of a cavity beneath the base shelf, the cavity being sealed from the air recovered via the one or more air inlet.
