Abstract: A method of evaluating core muscles by bioimpedance technology, includes the steps of: (a) measuring the resistance and reactance of a subject by a bioimpedance measuring instrument, and obtaining the subject's age, gender, and impedance factor (h2/Z), and (b) calculating the subject's core muscles by the following formula: BIA=a?b×age+c×h2/Z+d×Sex. Thereby, the present invention measures the cross-sectional area of the core muscles by means of bioimpedance analysis. The core muscles can be evaluated by the cross-sectional area of the core muscles, which can effectively reduce the measurement cost, reduce the measurement time and improve the convenience of measurement.

Abstract: Quantitative susceptibility mapping methods, systems and computer-accessible medium generate images of tissue magnetism property from complex magnetic resonance imaging data using the Bayesian inference approach, which minimizes a cost function comprising of a data fidelity term and regularization terms. The data fidelity term is constructed directly from the multiecho complex magnetic resonance imaging data. The regularization terms include a prior constructed from matching structures or information content in known morphology, and a prior constructed from regions of low susceptibility contrasts characterized on image features. The quantitative susceptibility map can be determined by minimizing the cost function that involves nonlinear functions in modeling the obtained signals, and the corresponding inverse problem is solved using nonconvex optimization using a scaling approach or deep neural network.

Abstract: An improved system for assessing cognitive function is described that uses tracked electrical activity of the brain of the individuals in response to a specific sequence of stimuli in generating data sets, which, for example, can be encapsulated as a data structure. The data sets can include tracked specific response types, at different times and amplitudes, including, but not limited to, event related potential signal components. Brainwave features including, event related potentials, are tracked in relation to both pre-attentive brain responses and consciously controlled attention responses.

Abstract: Techniques are disclosed for using both feature delineation and machine learning to detect cardiac arrhythmia. A computing device receives cardiac electrogram data of a patient sensed by a medical device. The computing device obtains, via feature-based delineation of the cardiac electrogram data, a first classification of arrhythmia in the patient. The computing device applies a machine learning model to the received cardiac electrogram data to obtain a second classification of arrhythmia in the patient. As one example, the computing device uses the first and second classifications to determine whether an episode of arrhythmia has occurred in the patient. As another example, the computing device uses the second classification to verify the first classification of arrhythmia in the patient. The computing device outputs a report indicating that the episode of arrhythmia has occurred and one or more cardiac features that coincide with the episode of arrhythmia.
