Abstract: This application describes a mobile cycling apparatus which may be easily installed in transportation terminals (and/or other locations) to provide people with an opportunity to exercise. The mobile cycling apparatus described herein may mounted proximate existing seating in the transportation terminals. In some examples, the mobile cycling apparatus may be coupled to the seating, such as a beam seating platform, and/or tables proximate a chair. In some examples, the mobile cycling apparatus may be directly coupled to the floor or other substantially horizontal surface. In some examples, the mobile cycling apparatus may be detachably coupled to a surface (e.g., seating, table, floor, etc.). In such examples, the mobile cycling apparatus may be moved between locations in the transportation terminal.

Abstract: A direct-drive bicycle training system and methods of using the same are provided. The system includes a bicycle trainer that rests on a support surface and supports a bicycle frame in an upright manner with respect to the support surface. The bicycle trainer includes a stator, a rotor that rotates with respect to the stator, a cassette affixed to the rotor, a support frame supporting the stator, rotor, and cassette, and a resistance applying mechanism that operatively couples to a portion of a drivetrain of the bicycle frame and applies varying levels of resistance to the portion of the drivetrain. The support frame moves with respect to the support surface in response to a force applied to the drivetrain of the bicycle frame during use of the bicycle training system, generating a more natural movement of the bicycle and simulating on-road use.

Abstract: A balance board for training and fitness that comprises a balance board body, a rolling ball or roller, and an adjusting component; the adjusting component comprises two arc-shaped adjusting parts and two vertical adjusting parts; when in use, the two arc-shaped adjusting parts and the two vertical adjusting parts cooperate to form a first movable space for adapting the rolling ball, the two arc-shaped adjusting parts cooperate to form a second movable space for adapting the rolling ball, and the two vertical adjusting parts cooperate to form a third movable space for adapting the roller. The two arc-shaped adjusting parts and two vertical adjusting parts can be used together or independently to form a plurality of movable spaces with different ranges, so that the swing amplitude of the balance board body can be adjusted to meet users with different training needs.

Abstract: A play ball has a rubber shell filled with resilient foam having an entire outer peripheral surface thereof intimately attached by heat fusion and adhesive to an entire interior surface of the shell. Such attachment enables the foam to provide additional resiliency by foam tension, as well as by foam compression, thereby significantly extending the effective bounce life of the ball. A seamed dog chew toy has essentially similar construction such that the increased retention force provided by the intimate attachment of the foam to the shell resists the chewing force of the dog popping a seam improving durability.

These configurations allow the straps to create more arm space for the user, an easier assembly to a corresponding divider top, and equal distribution of weight across the straps, thereby, promoting comfort and balance for the user.

The club head further comprises a tuning element secured to the interior surface of the crown, wherein the tuning element damps the amplitude vibration at a vibration hotspot in the club head by between 1-7 decibels.

The ski training device of the present invention provides a horizontal support bar having a cushioned proximal end for comfortably engagement with a skier's chest and an opposite, distal end which can be gripped by a ski instructor. Specifically, a pair of adjustable upward-facing handles is positioned on the support bar to be gripped by the skier after the width between the handles is adjusted in accordance with the width of the skier's shoulders, and after the pair of handles is adjustably positioned along the length of said support bar in accordance with the length of the skier's arms. In this manner, skier leans forward in a proper skiing position. The distal end of the support bar provides a hand grip for the instructor. Also, an additional grip is adjustably positioned near the distal end, which provides an alternative grip for the instructor.

The processor obtains a difference between the obtained current exercise form and a target exercise form. The processor causes an actuator to apply a stimulus to a body of the user based on the difference. The actuator is attached to a part of the body of the user constituting the exercise form. The stimulus suggests correction of the exercise form and indicates a direction to move the part.

The system can identify a second atmospheric conditions different from the baseline atmospheric conditions. The system can calculate a predicted distance traveled by the golf ball if hit by a golf swing under the second atmospheric conditions. The system can present, in a graphical user interface, the predicted distance traveled by the golf ball under the second atmospheric conditions.

Abstract: This application discloses techniques for generating and querying projective hash maps. More specifically, projective hash maps can be used for spatial hashing of data related to N-dimensional points. Each point is projected onto a projection surface to convert the three-dimensional (3D) coordinates for the point to two-dimensional (2D) coordinates associated with the projection surface. Hash values based on the 2D coordinates are then used as an index to store data in the projective hash map. Utilizing the 2D coordinates rather than the 3D coordinates allows for more efficient searches to be performed to locate points in the 3D space. In particular, projective hash maps can be utilized by graphics applications for generating images, and the improved efficiency can, for example, enable a game streaming application on a server to render images transmitted to a user device via a network at faster frame rates.

Abstract: One method disclosed herein of processing a process fluid that comprises dissolved gas includes performing a degassing process on the process fluid by heating the process fluid via heat transfer with a heat transfer fluid, wherein at least some amount of the heat transfer fluid condenses in the first heat transfer process and latent heat of the heat transfer fluid as it condenses is used to increase the temperature of the process fluid. Thereafter, the heat transfer fluid is passed through an expansion device so as to produce a post-expansion heat transfer fluid. The temperature of the heated process fluid is decreased by performing a second heat transfer process between the post-expansion heat transfer fluid and the heated process fluid, wherein the temperature of the post-expansion heat transfer fluid is increased and the latent heat that was supplied to the process fluid in the first heat transfer process is removed.
