Abstract: A local coil control apparatus and a wireless local coil in a magnetic resonance imaging system. The apparatus includes a control signal transmission unit, the control signal transmission unit including a wireless receiving unit, a control signal extraction unit, and a control signal distribution unit. The wireless receiving unit receives, by a receiving antenna, a signal from a radiofrequency power amplifier emitted by a body coil of the MRI system, and transmits the signal to the control signal extraction unit; the control signal extraction unit, if it detects that the signal is background noise, generates a control signal instructing a local coil unit to switch to a tuned state, and, if it detects that the signal is broadband noise, generates a control signal instructing the local coil unit to switch to a detuned state, and distributes the control signal to each local coil unit through the control signal distribution unit.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a magnetic resonance fingerprinting imaging method with variable number of echoes, in addition to conventional MRF coding such as changing the excitation pulse angle, the method also introduces the change of the number of echoes, so that quantitative maps of B0, B1+, T1 and T2* can be obtained in a single scan. Further, if the echo time corresponding to the in-phase, opposed-phase and in-phase of water and fat is set for three consecutive echoes, the present invention can also image water and fat, and achieve the accurate quantification of B0, B1+, T1w, T1F, [T2*]w and [T2*]F. Through in vivo experiments and simulations, the effectiveness of the present invention has been proved. Therefore, the present invention can provide multiple information representations for common brain diseases (glioma) and fatty diseases (such as lipoma, fatty liver, etc.), which is conducive to clinical diagnosis and treatment.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure utilize signals generated by a radio frequency identification (RFID) antenna to locate the antenna. For example, a signal emitted by a transmitter can cause an unpowered mobile device's RFID antenna to generate return signals that are received by multiple antennas. Time difference of arrival (TDOA) and a frequency difference of arrival (FDOA) values can be calculated for the received signals. The calculated TDOA and FDOA values can be correlated using a cross ambiguity function (CAF). The correlated values can be plotted on a map to create a set of correlation maps. The correlation maps can be combined to produce an average map and the antenna can be located by identifying a maximum correlation value on the average map.
