  • Patent number: 12017009
Abstract: Disclosed herein are method, system, and computer-readable medium aspects for altering a user mind-body state through external stimuli. An aspect begins by onboarding a user through receipt of at least one data item. The aspect continues by receiving a mind-body state goal from the user and capturing the user's current mind-body state. The aspect then provides external stimuli to the user based on the at least one data item, the mind-body state goal, and the current mind-body state. The aspect captures a new mind-body state of the user after the external stimuli has been provided, and determines a similarity between the mind-body state goal and the new mind-body state. Based on the similarity, the aspect concludes by recommending further external stimuli to the user. In some aspects, the external stimuli corresponds to a category that is a predetermined combination of audio protocols, physical protocols, and behavioral cues.

  • Patent number: 12017012
Abstract: A stylet for use in guiding a catheter to a predetermined location within the body of a patient includes a continuous core member for transmitting an electrical signal from a distal section of the stylet to a proximal end. The stylet includes a differing stiffness profile along its length. The differing stiffness characteristics are achieved by varying the number of strands of a wire, the diameter of each individual strand, twisting or braiding the strands, or varying the number of turns per unit length of the twisted strands. The stiffness of the stylet may decrease intermittently or continuously from the proximal end to the distal section. By using multiple strands bundled together, the beneficial conductive and, optionally, magnetic properties can be maximized while at the same time the stiffness characteristics can be modified.

  • Patent number: 12017030
Abstract: A hydrogen-enhanced drug delivery system for hydrogen-assisted transdermal delivery of a therapeutic agent is provided. The system includes a hydrogen-generating compartment comprising at least one dry chemical. Addition of an activator, such as a liquid composition, from within or outside of the system, causes the dry chemical(s) to generate molecular hydrogen (H2) within the system. The molecular hydrogen passes through a skin-contacting surface of the system, which is permeable to hydrogen and not permeable to the dry chemical(s) and the liquid composition, and enhances the release of the therapeutic agent from the system as H2 is delivered to the subject's body. The H2 can also enhance the therapeutic effect of the therapeutic agent.
