Publication number: 20240246729Abstract: The disclosure relates to a container comprising fibers, the container having: a container body comprising fibers, the container body having a mouth region which surrounds a mouth opening; and a lid comprising fibers, the lid having a circumferential groove. In a closure position, at least one part of the mouth region is accommodated in the groove, and the container body is thereby closed. The lid is designed to be moved from the closure position into an open position away from the container body. The disclosure also relates to a lid comprising fibers, the lid having a circumferential groove, for use for the container comprising fibers, to a method for producing a container comprising fibers, to a device for carrying out the method for producing a container comprising fibers, and to a method for producing a lid comprising fibers.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 22, 2024Publication date: July 25, 2024Inventors: Andreas HIPPEL, Jörg ZACHARIAS

Publication number: 20240246730Abstract: The present teachings relate to a screw-cap closure, in particularly the closure shell, which consists of horizontal and vertical elements, placed on the closure shell's cylindrical sidewall inner surface. Horizontal parts include a plurality of thread segments, and both ends of the cylindrical sidewall (where cylindrical side wall ends and slopes start). Vertical elements consist of areas with increased wall thickness under both ends of the plurality of thread segments. Combination of aforementioned elements create a frame, that guarantees sufficient structural stiffness and allows to decrease the closure's wall thickness.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 2, 2022Publication date: July 25, 2024Inventor: Olexandr Kachanov

Publication number: 20240246733Abstract: A bottle is provided that incorporates a free flow filter that can passively filter water by the action of gravity as a user drinks from the bottle. The bottle uses an umbrella valve to vent air from the filter into the body of the bottle so that a continuous stream of filtered water is provided by the bottle as water is poured from the bottle. In an embodiment, the umbrella valve moves from a closed position to an open position when at least a threshold pressure is applied to a diaphragm of the valve. When in the open position, air may vent from the filter and into the body of the bottle.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 27, 2022Publication date: July 25, 2024Inventors: Jun Wang, John Lian
