  • Patent number: 12069318
Abstract: Disclosed are systems and methods for providing unified routing and caching logic for applications utilizing a CDN. First, the system maintains access to one or more edge servers for a CDN, with the one or more edge servers being configured to execute edge logic. The system receives code for an application in a specified application framework, with the code and/or application framework including a unified set of routing and caching logic for dynamic data to be applied to a number of caches, and with the unified set of routing and caching logic being derived from a centralized definition. For each of the caches, the system first analyzes the set of routing and caching logic to determine a subset of the routing and caching logic to be executed by the cache, and then atomically sends the determined subset of the routing and caching logic to the cache.

  • Patent number: 12069319
Abstract: An image synthesis apparatus comprises a receiver (301) for receiving image parts and associated depth data of images representing a scene from different view poses from an image source. A store (311) stores a depth transition metric for each image part of a set of image parts where the depth transition metric for an image part is indicative of a direction of a depth transition in the image part. A determiner (305) determines a rendering view pose and an image synthesizer (303) synthesizes at least one image from received image part. A selector is arranged to select a first image part of the set of image parts in response to the depth transition metric and a retriever (309) retrieves the first image part from the image source. The synthesis of an image part for the rendering view pose is based on the first image part.

  • Patent number: 12069320
Abstract: Method and systems for managing sharing of a video in a collaboration session. A central server obtains a synchronization time stamp of an audio frame, relating to the session, to be used for synchronizing the shared video stream with the session. The central server determines, based on a video frame rate difference for the video file, whether more, less or same number of video frames are needed, and sets up a buffer for provisioning the shared video stream to the session. The central server iteratively retrieves video frame by video frame of the video file and generates zero, one, or more video frames according to the determination, with a desired resolution, while setting a time stamp of each generated video frame corresponding to the desired frame rate. The shared video stream is provided by inserting the generated video frames into the buffer.

  • Patent number: 12069341
Abstract: Systems and methods for automatically determining when a single party is playing or requesting conflicting content on two different devices, and resolving the conflict accordingly. Systems automatically identify when a single user is playing back a content stream on one device, then requests another content stream on another device. If the two content streams conflict, the conflict is automatically resolved in a number of ways, including by automatically pausing or redirecting one of the content streams. Conflict identification may also be carried out with the assistance of an added state flag that indicates a device or stream that has audio priority in a conflict. Thus, for example, when one user requests two conflicting content streams, and only one stream is associated with the conditional audio enabled flag, audio of the flagged stream may be played, while the other stream is muted.

  • Patent number: 12069363
Abstract: Introduced here are surveillance systems and associated approaches for obfuscating biometric identifiers generated by, or available to, those surveillance systems for privacy reasons. In the event that a surveillance system generates a biometric identifier (e.g., by imaging a face of a person entering the premises of an organization), caution must be taken to only share the biometric identifier with individuals as necessary for security reasons. The approaches introduced here allow the privacy of persons being surveilled to be protected. Specifically, a computer program may selectively apply blurring as an impermanent mask to obfuscate each face in a digital image. This approach limits “reidentification” of a given person to those scenarios where her identity must be determined.
