Abstract: The disclosed method includes: receiving, by a receiving device of a processing server, a transaction request for a financial transaction, the transaction request including at least information associated with a consumer; forwarding at least the information associated with the consumer, the information associated with the merchant, and the transaction amount or projected transaction amount to an issuer; receiving an authorization from the issuer for the transaction amount or projected transaction amount; forwarding the authorization to the merchant; receiving a triggering event for the financial transaction between the consumer and the merchant; sending a request to the issuer for digital tokens to be held for payment of the transaction between the consumer and the merchant; receiving a plurality of digital tokens from the issuer for the payment of the transaction between the consumer and the merchant; and holding the plurality of digital tokens received from the issuer for the financial transaction.

Abstract: A real-time electronic bill presentment and payment system of a bill presentment and payment system (BPPS) provider is exposed to at least one of a business financial institution and an accounting software provider via an API. The BPP provider facilitates the institution or software provider providing a real-time electronic bill presentment and payment mobile application to a business. The BPPS obtains, via the API, from the institution or software provider, registration information relevant to the business. The real-time system populates a biller directory database with the registration information. No action, other than the facilitating, is required by the BPPS provider for the institution or software provider to obtain the registration information. In some instances, provision is made for loss of connectivity between the institution or software provider and the business and/or for alerts to the business.

Abstract: Systems and methods involving secure connections between security meshes are disclosed herein. One disclosed device includes a first security processor located within a first security mesh, a first casing having a connector and supporting the first security mesh and the applications processor, a second security processor located within a second security mesh, and a second casing connected to the first casing via the connector and supporting the second security mesh. The first security processor and second security processor are programmed to generate a unique pre-shared key independently on both the first security processor and the second security processor using an elliptic key exchange and establish a secure connection between the first security processor and the second security processor using the unique pre-shared key.

Abstract: Described herein are systems, methods, and apparatuses for performing a user-less payment for an item upon its delivery by an unmanned delivery vehicle. The unmanned delivery vehicle may navigate to a delivery location, receive payment information, initiate a payment transaction with a remote server, and release the item at a specified location upon successful completion of the payment transaction. Upon arrival of the unmanned delivery vehicle, a wireless data transmission device may send payment information to a remote server, and the remote server may provide the unmanned delivery vehicle with an indication of whether the item can be released and a specific location at which the item can be released.

The merchant system receives a set of application programming interface (API) calls from an online system allowing the merchant system to provide a user with a virtual credit card when the user is purchasing products via the merchant system. The merchant system provides one or more conditions to the online system and provides information describing an order by a user via the merchant system. By applying a machine learned model to characteristics of the users and characteristics of one or more orders by the merchant system, the online system determines an amount for the virtual credit card. When the user's order satisfies the conditions, the online system issues the virtual credit card and transmits information describing the virtual credit card to the merchant system, which the virtual credit card information to the user while the user completes the order.

Abstract: A method for detecting fraud across networks of interconnected smart contracts on a blockchain network, including constructing a graph representation of nodes and node edges representing smart contracts and interactions therebetween on a blockchain network. New smart contracts are added to the graph representation which is updated to reflect updated edges. Pattern recognition algorithms are applied to the graph database to identify and flag sub-graphs suggesting potential fraud. Filtering smart contracts gather forensic data about each smart contract comprised by the flagged sub-graph. A fraud risk score is determined by analyzing the forensic data. If the fraud risk score exceeds a threshold value, a fraud response is triggered.

For example, a method can include receiving an indication of an execution of a transfer of temporary control between a granting entity and a receiving entity of a unit of an asset comprising a plurality of units. Transaction data comprising a duration of the temporary control of the unit can be received and recorded in a distributed ledger of a blockchain network. Logic and rules corresponding to conditions of transfer of the temporary control of the unit of the asset can be identified. The method can include receiving a granting entity authentication key and determining that whether the transaction data meet the logic and the rules of the conditions of transfer.

Abstract: Described herein is a secure system and methods for enabling a user to remotely generate a token to be used in a transaction. In the disclosure, the user may provide a mobile device identifier to a resource provider to complete a transaction. A service provider, upon receiving the mobile device identifier, may generate a message to be transmitted to a mobile device associated with that mobile device identifier that includes details of the transaction to be complete. Upon receiving the message, the user may be asked to elect a token service installed on the mobile device with which the transaction should be completed. This token service may be used to authenticate the user and subsequently generate or provide the requested token. The service provider computer may then use the generated token to complete the transaction.

One example method includes receiving a request to provision a biometric for biometric transactions to a payment account where, the request includes a cryptogram associated with a transaction to said payment account and/or a transaction ID for the transaction. The method also includes checking with an issuer whether the payment account is supported for biometric transactions, receiving an indicator of eligibility, and then requesting a biometric from the user. A method, performed by a host server operating a thin-client device, includes receiving transaction request data at a host server computer from a thin-client device, where the transaction request data can include financial account data and biometric data. The host-server transmits a verification request message to a VAS provider and receives an indication that it is a valid merchant. The host-server transmits an authorization request message comprising the biometric data to a payment processing network (PPN), where the PPN communicates with an authentication server computer to validate the biometric data, sends the authorization request message to an issuer and receives an authorization response message from the issuer.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for authenticating users in connection with transactions. One example computer-implemented method includes, in response to presentment of a payment device in connection with a transaction, identifying, by a point-of-sale (POS) device, the payment device as enabled for facial authentication and retrieving, from the payment device, a reference image. The method also includes capturing, by the POS computing device, via a camera, a facial image of the user presenting the payment device and authenticating the user based on a comparison of the captured facial image of the user to the reference image. The method then includes, in response to successfully authenticating the user: compiling an authorization request for the transaction, appending an authentication indicator to a data element of the authorization request, which indicates that the user was biometrically authenticated, and submitting the authorization request to a payment network.

A chip-embedded card can be registered to an individual and include identifying information associated with the information. During a contactless transaction, identifying information can be acquired. An individual's identity can be validated based on identifying information. A chip-embedded card can be read by a card reader at a particular location providing physical presence information. In one instance, identifying information from the chip-embedded card can be compared to other identifying information to determine whether there is a match or mismatch. A confidence score can be computed based on the amount and type of information provided. An individual's identity can be validated when the confidence score satisfies a threshold.

Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for detecting a suspicious and/or a non-suspicious activity during an electronic transaction performed by a user device. One method comprises identifying, by a monitoring and detection component, a starting check point in the electronic transaction. The monitoring and detection component may then receive contextual data from one or more sensors of the user device. Based on the contextual data and a machine learning model, the monitoring and detection component may determine whether an expected behavior occurred. Entry of user credentials may be enabled in response to determining that the expected behavior occurred, whereas the electronic transaction may be terminated in response to determining that the expected behavior did not occur.

Abstract: A method for detecting and tracking tainted cryptographic wallets. The method measures a wallet's propensity to engage in criminal or suspicious activity. Naturally, transacting with a criminal is tantamount either to funding crime or laundering its proceeds, so it is in our collective interest to identify—and then monitor or quarantine—any wallet with criminal association. The method also automatically flags risky withdrawal requests in real-time for further review before committing them to the blockchain. In some embodiments, the exchange can quarantine wallets at a certain Walletscore.

Abstract: An artwork management method executed by one or more computers is provided. The artwork management method includes detecting, by a first computer included in the one or more computers, artwork included in a website, determining, by the first computer, whether or not a purchase transaction indicating purchase of the artwork detected is recorded in a blockchain network, and transmitting, by the first computer, a report indicating discovery of unauthorized use of the artwork, in a case where the first computer determines that the purchase transaction is not recorded. Abstract: Disclosed is a method, system, and computer program product for determining solvency of a digital asset exchange system. The method includes identifying a plurality of blockchain addresses corresponding to a plurality of users of a digital asset exchange system, generating a first commitment to an amount of digital assets corresponding to the plurality of blockchain addresses, and generating a second commitment to a balance of each user of the plurality of users. The method also includes generating a first component of a zero-knowledge algorithm that is configured to receive, as input, the first commitment. The method further includes determining that the digital asset exchange system is solvent based on the zero-knowledge algorithm.

Abstract: Provided is a method of determining an advertisement target according to an advertisement request, the method includes: obtaining usage history information from a plurality of devices, obtaining features of the plurality of devices, based on the usage history information, and generating feature vectors for the obtained features; determining labels for the plurality of devices, based on the advertisement request and the obtained features; generating an advertisement target inference model, based on the determined labels and the feature vectors; and determining at least one advertisement target device among the plurality of devices by applying the generated advertisement target inference model to the plurality of devices.
