Abstract: A battery mount system for a battery pack on an electric vehicle. The system isolates the battery with a three point mount whereby the battery pack stresses are then reduced while maintaining torsional flexibility of the chassis. By mounting the batteries between the frame rails, they are better protected. The present system allows an electric vehicle chassis to remain flexible in twist (torsion) along the longitudinal axis while containing one or more rigid battery packs inside and/or underneath the frame rails, reducing stress and force on the battery packs. Bushings are mounted either on the chassis or on the battery. There are two bushings or brackets on either the front or rear of the battery, and one bushing on either the front or rear of the battery. Abstract: A unitary (one-piece) construction of an electric vehicle chassis is provided having at least one s-bend aft of the front axle to allow battery packs to mount on isolators inside of the frame rails. The overall width of the frame (at the widest) is 4-6? wider as compared to traditional (non-ev) vehicles. This increased width is provided for to accommodate the battery packs required for operation of the electric vehicle. The s-bend allows for front wheel steering angles greater than if rails were straight. In some embodiments, a second s-bend directs the frame again outwards to accommodate additional components and to increase strength of the overall frame. The present wide and s-bend configuration allows for mounting of rear springs underneath of the frame rails for extra support and more efficient and improved packaging. The cross member further allows for front spring mounting to the frame.

Abstract: An improved radiator mounting and cooling system for use in automobiles allows multiple components to be incorporated into the same unit, limiting the need for accessories to be mounted to inner fenders or firewall. A circulating vortex of air is pulled through a front grill and vortex tubes disposed through sides of the radiator system to improve cooling efficiency. An outer shroud protects interior components and creates a sealed core cavity allowing air to only enter through vortex tubes and front grill and exit through a rear grill. A self-circulating cooling system provides additional cooling of coolant. A fan system pulls around 5000 CFM of air through the core cavity. An optional secondary coolant pumping system allows coolant to be pumped when needed. Abstract: A power supply system comprises a first node connected to a second node via an electrically conducting cable, wherein the cable is conducting alternating current at high frequency (e.g. 100 Hz or higher, e.g. 20 KHz or higher) between the first and second nodes, and the electrically conducting cable is a capacitive cable. A power supply at the high frequency can be connected to the first node, or a power supply at 50 or 60 Hz can be connected to a converter outputting power at the high frequency with the converter output connected to the first node. A converter can be connected to the second node, or an electrical appliance operating using high frequency power can be connected to the second node. A related wireless electric vehicle charging system comprises (a) a power supply, optionally a power supply system of the invention. (b) an inverter connected to the power supply and adapted to output power at a high frequency. e.g.

Abstract: Aspects of the subject disclosure relate to automatic actuation of a vehicle charging port closure based on one or more detections. A device implementing the subject technology may include at least one processor configured to detect conditions such as a battery charge state, a proximity to a charger, an elapsed time since last charge, and/or whether the charging station is one at which charging is frequently performed. Such detections can form the basis of a determination that the user is likely to utilize the charging port, and the vehicle and provide automatic actuation. Accordingly, automatic handsfree opening of the charging port closure can be provided.

The case includes a first DC to DC convertor that converts a first DC voltage provided by a high voltage battery on the vehicle to a second DC voltage. The case includes a battery that produces the second DC voltage. An inverter inverts the second DC voltage into a third voltage useable as an alternating current. An alternating current plug supplies the third voltage to an accessory plugged into the alternating current plug. The case is configured to be selectively and alternatively moved between a (i) coupled position wherein the first electrical connector is electrically coupled to a complementary second electrical connector provided at a dock in the vehicle, and a (ii) decoupled position wherein the first and second electrical connectors are disconnected and the case is moveable providing portable power away from the vehicle.
