  • Patent number: 12097402
Abstract: The conventionally available tables for armwrestling are assembled upside down with the need of two external bolts to be fastened into pegs. Also, four external bolts are needed to attach the base to the legs. This method is extremely annoying especially when an arm-wrestling team wants to move their table from one place to another. The need for flipping the table top over and positioning it on the floor can damage the leather if there is nothing placed on the floor. In contrast, the present disclosure provides an improved table for armwrestling that enables upright assembly thereof. No external bolts are needed to be attached or detached at the base. None of the upper 4 Allen bolts need to be completely out of their sockets. Once these Allen bolts are out of their path in the solid bar, table top can be easily lifted for disassembly.

Abstract: Controlling an avatar in an XR environment can be based on input(s) from external, non-XR computing devices, such as mobile devices. An external device can capture sensor data, audio data, and/or image data, which are processed by an avatar control system to determine a gesture performed by the user, gauge the level of intensity or excitement of the user, and/or infer the user's sentiment or emotional state. The avatar control system can generate a motion plan based on these inferences drawn from the external device sensor data based on a baseline animation or motion template. The system can generate avatar animations that have exaggerated or understated expressions relative to the user's real-world gestures, possibly exceeding limitations of a kinematic model that otherwise constrain the avatar's animations. The technology can enable users to control an avatar in an XR environment without specialized XR equipment.

Abstract: A method of managing evolution of an active object in a game space based on interaction of one or more players with the active object, the method including the following steps implemented concurrently and independently by server-side and client-side modules: acquiring data indicative of a first player's interaction with the active object during gameplay; determining data indicative of a first state of the active object and data indicative of a first attribute associated with the first state; determining altered state data indicative of a second state of the active object, wherein a second attribute is associated with the second state; and determining evolved object data indicative of a change from the first attribute to the second attribute. Further, the client-side module uses the evolved object data to render the active object on the first player's client device in the second state and the second attribute.
