When the clip bodies are closed to an extent where the second coupling grooves are incapable of retaining the ends of the elastic element, the ends of the elastic element automatically disengage from the second coupling grooves and displace to a position for coupling with the first coupling grooves.

Abstract: A bedding foundation has a motorized linear actuator for moving a carriage forward and backwards. The carriage includes wheels which move along side rails of a frame. A rigid platform having an opening extending through the platform is secured to the frame. The carriage includes a lift motor assembly which raises and lowers a massager independently of the movement of the linear actuator. Regardless of the position of the linear actuator, the massager may be raised or lowered. The massager moves back and forth inside the opening extending through the rigid platform and imparts a massage movement to a mattress above the foundation.

Abstract: An electromotive double drive 2 for adjusting pivotally adjustable support parts of a support device for supporting a cushioning of a seating and/or lying furniture, in particular a mattress of a box-spring bed, relative to one another comprises a base body 4, at which two drive units 6, 8 are arranged, each comprising a drive member 10 or 12 respectively. The double drive 2 further comprises two pivot levers 18, 20 spaced apart from one another in longitudinal direction of the base body 4 and each pivotably disposed at the base body around a pivot axis 14 or 16 respectively, wherein the pivot levers 18, 20 are respectively in operative connection with the output member 10, 12 of an associated drive unit 6, 8 for pivoting the respective pivot lever 18, 20 relative to the base body 4.

Abstract: Mattress assemblies that provide reduced heat index during use include a moisture management layer, a thermally conductive layer and an underlying spacer layer and in direct contact with the thermally conductive layer. Optionally, the thermally conductive foam layer can be perforated and sandwiched between two high air flow layers having an air flow of at least 6 ft3/min. In some embodiments, the perforated thermally conductive layer can include slits connecting adjacent perforations in a linear direction, e.g., along length dimension of mattress assembly or along width dimension of mattress assembly, which act as expansion cuts to provide greater air flow and heat dissipation. Also, disclosed are processes for reducing the heat index in a mattress assembly.
