Abstract: A system (60) that monitors and analyzes power consumption signals over time for household equipment (35). Equipment (35) may exhibit a representative operating signature. The system analytics may include determining a ‘normal’ operating signature for a piece of monitored equipment (35), which may include minimum and maximum expected ranges for different transition points or other characteristic points in the signature. The characteristic points may include points of minimum variability in magnitude. Based on monitoring the characteristic points, the system (60) may make a binary determination of “normal” or “abnormal.” That is, the system (60) may determine that an operational run of the equipment (35) is good or “potentially not good,” based on a comparison of the measured characteristics points to a normal operating signature. In response to a binary determination of abnormal, the system (60) may output a signal to alert user, a repair facility, or similar entity of the potential abnormal behavior.

Abstract: The present disclosure discloses a single-point sampling optimized method and system for frequency response measurement. The frequency response measurement based on sinusoidal excitation is regarded as frequency domain sampling of system under test, the interpolation error between piecewise linear interpolation model of existing sampling value and the theoretical model of the system under test is estimated, and a single newly added sampling point is placed in the sub-frequency band with maximum interpolation error, so as to achieve steepest descent of an overall interpolation error. The present disclosure does not rely on specific hardware, is directly embedded into existing frequency response analyzer, has high usability, high precision and high stability, and has good data inheritance.

Abstract: In a general aspect, a system is described for sensing radio frequency (RF) electromagnetic fields. The system includes a laser system that generates probe and coupling laser signals. The system also includes an RF source that generates a reference RF electromagnetic field. The reference RF electromagnetic field is part of a combined RF electromagnetic field that also includes a perturbing RF electromagnetic field. A vapor cell sensor of the system generates an optical signal in response to the probe laser signal, the coupling laser signal, and the combined RF electromagnetic field interacting with a vapor of the vapor cell sensor. The system additionally includes a control system that tunes the coupling laser signal and the reference RF electromagnetic field relative to respective transitions of the vapor. The control system generates, based on the optical signal, a value that represents a property of the perturbing RF electromagnetic field.

Abstract: A far field radiation pattern is determined for a multi-element antenna array comprising a plurality of antenna elements in a first plane using test apparatus comprising a support member for holding the array and a movable probe having an aperture configured to move in a second plane parallel to the first. A distance between the first and second plane is less than a quarter of a wavelength at an operating frequency of the antenna array. The movable probe radiates electromagnetic energy from the aperture and is moved in a determined trajectory in the second plane. A respective measurement of amplitude and phase of electromagnetic energy received by the antenna array is taken at a plurality of positions on the determined trajectory. The far field radiation pattern is determined from the respective measurements and from a pre-determined radiation pattern for at least one antenna element of the plurality of antenna elements.

The determination processor includes a storage unit, a determination reference value setting unit, and a determination processing unit. The determination reference value setting unit determines a detection region in which a difference between a capacitance equivalent value and a setting reference value exceeds a threshold value as a contact region where the conductor is in contact, determines a detection region in which the difference is equal to or less than the threshold value as a non-contact region where the conductor is not in contact, and sets the setting reference value corresponding to the non-contact region as a determination reference value of the contact region for the contact region when determining that the contact region exists and that the non-contact region exists.

Abstract: A condition data acquirer acquires first data of a plurality of items related to a test process of a plurality of semiconductor chips. A test result acquirer acquires second data indicating test results of the plurality of semiconductor chips in the test process. In a region in which a plurality of items of the condition data are arranged on one axis and a plurality of values of the respective items is arranged in a direction orthogonal to the axis, a graph generator generates a graph image in which corresponding values are connected by lines over the plurality of items for each group of a plurality of semiconductor chips having the same test environment. The graph generator changes a form of the lines for each group in the graph image according to a ratio of the semiconductor chips whose test results have been failed in each group.
