Abstract: An antimicrobial face mask that includes a triboelectric nanogenerator (TENG) membrane interior portion. The face mask also includes one or more antimicrobial substances. In some examples, the face mask includes both copper and silver, each of which has antimicrobial properties and together have a greater antimicrobial effect than each of them individually. The face mask improves upon existing personal protective equipment (PPE) face masks to reduce transmission and infection from microbial pathogens, including SARS-CoV-2, its variants, other viruses and various forms of bacteria.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a medical gown that is easy to wear, improves overall aesthetics and has the capability of accommodating personal items and small medical equipment. The gown has a front portion and a back portion, a hook and loop fastening system extending along the length of the back portion and is used for securing the gown around the body of a wearer, a plurality of pockets disposed on the front portion wherein a pair of pockets are disposed on lower portion of the front portion and a pocket is disposed on chest portion of the front portion. A front body opening or slit is disposed in the front portion and extends from the neck opening towards the side of the front portion. The front body slit helps in donning the gown and helps in revealing front body portion of a wearer during a medical examination/procedure.

The hard hat does not include a front brim allowing for appropriate positioning of the AR/VR goggles relative to the hard hat. A hinged bracket is coupled to the hard hat and the AR/VR goggles to allow for movement of the AR/VR goggles. The AR/VR goggles are moveable between an in use position in which the goggles are positioned in front of a user's face and a storage position in which the goggles are positioned above or away from the user's face.

Abstract: A protective headgear device is provided. The device is preferably comprised of two ventilated ear cups secured to a user's head via at least one strap having a padded cover which provides comfort to a user's head and also protects the user's head from impacts. In addition, the ear cups may be comprised of cushions with recessed areas that may receive glasses arms, hearing aids, etc. The strap is preferably adjustable such that the device can be tightened/loosened on a user's head.

An example helmet includes an exterior shell including an inner surface, an outer surface; and a lower perimeter edge adjoining the inner surface and the outer surface. The lower perimeter edge defines a recess positioned on each side of the exterior shell. The example helmet further includes an interior liner positioned along the inner surface of the exterior shell, and further includes an impact structure associated with each recess. The impact structure is positioned at least partially below the interior liner and the exterior shell, and the impact structure includes a contact interface positioned to abut the interior liner.

The pivot member has a slide portion having a first groove. The first pressing block is positioned in the first groove. The pivot member further includes a positioning strip having a plurality of second grooves. The connecting unit has a second slide groove. The positioning strip is inserted and slidable in the second slide groove. A second pressing block is disposed on an inner wall of the second slide groove. The second pressing block is pressed into any one of the second grooves in a multi-step manner.

Abstract: A dual-layered midsole for footwear includes an internal midsole layer and an external midsole layer, which are coupled to and separated by a Strobel board. The internal midsole layer may compress and expand with the movement of a wearer of an article of footwear including the dual-layered midsole, while the external midsole may provide stability and cushion for the wearer. Materials selected for the internal and external midsole layers may provide tuned viscoelastic properties to different areas of the midsole as a function of midsole layer thickness at each sole area.

A cosmetic deposition device includes an applicator component, a position sensor, and a reservoir for compositions for the cosmetic style. A display of the cosmetic deposition device represents the portion of skin as a guide segment, and represents the applicator component as a visual indicator relative to the guide segment based on the position sensor. The depiction of the visual indicator responds to changes in the position of the applicator component relative to the portion of the biological surface to visually guide the individual to accurately apply the cosmetic style, and a feedback device alerts the individual if the application deviates from the portion of the biological surface. These approaches enable the individual to correct application of the composition in real time.
