Abstract: It is an object of the invention to provide a technique to improve usability of a workbench for a power tool. To achieve the object, a representative workbench for a power tool is provided with a table, first and second supports, a shaft, a handle body, a handle, a lock mechanism and a lock release member. The lock release member includes an elongated element disposed below the upper surface of the table and extending along the table toward the handle, and the lock of the table is released when the user pulls the elongated element in the longitudinal direction of the elongated element. According to the invention, the user can release the lock of the table simply by pulling the elongated element, so that ease of lock releasing operation is enhanced.

Abstract: A collapsible table selectively positionable between an upright position above a surface and a collapsible position for storage. The table includes a table top having an envelope defining an interior cavity that is configured with an internal periphery sufficient for receiving one or more seating members therein when the table is positioned in the collapsed position. In operation, pedestals of the table may be pivoted between an extended position such that the pedestals support the table above a surface and a retracted position such that the pedestals are introduced within the interior cavity of the table and thereby substantially rest against the underside of the table top. The disposition of the seating members within the cavity of the table, and in relation to each other, further facilitates a means for securing the pedestals of the table in a collapsed position within the interior cavity of the table during storage.

Abstract: This invention provides a stand for a camper that will allow the camper to be used in an elevated position when it is removed from the truck. The stand is to be attached to the bottom of camper. The legs easily fold up to put the camper back on the truck, and fold down when it is off the truck. The legs are designed with axle and angle braces for side-to-side stability, and fold down past the 90-degree angle so the legs will tension the folding braces for front to rear stability. The main frame, which attaches to the camper, is the size of the camper structure that is within the truck box, therefore the stand supports the camper as it would be supported when in the truck box. This stand can be attached as an after market product or could be used as the base for construction of a camper.

  • Patent number: 7007771
Abstract: A collapsible stool to provide additional height for small children undergoing toilet training, comprising: a substantially horizontal top plate of generally rectangular shape with an upper surface and a lower surface; four protrusions integral with the lower plate surface and each separately located proximal to the four corners of the top plate, wherein each protrusion is host to a hollow core to provide two pairs of female cores approximately cylindrical in shape; and two legs, each leg having two opposite facing male protrusions each adapted to fit the female cores to enable each leg to rotate through an arc between an open position and a closed position relative to the top plate, wherein at least one of each pair of female cores comprise an integral leg security mechanism adapted to maintain each leg in an open position relative to the top plate.

Abstract: A table includes a table top and a leg movable between an extended position and a collapsed position relative to the table top. A support brace interconnects the leg and the table top, and a locking member is used to secure the support brace in a fixed position. The locking mechanism preferably includes a body with an outwardly extending tab that is sized and configured to lock the support brace in a fixed position when the leg is in an extended position and the locking mechanism is in a locked position. Desirably, a biasing member is used to bias the locking member into the locked position.

  • Patent number: 6955396
Abstract: A self stabilizing and shock absorbing support structure for a collapsible picnic table having integral benches. The support structure includes U-shaped members resiliently attached to each other in a coplanar arrangement which allows the supports to flex and stabilize independently. This arrangement also allows the support structure to absorb shock which would normally be transferred across the table from one bench seat to the other.

  • Patent number: 6945178

Abstract: A folding picnic table includes a foldable table top and two or more seats. The foldable table top is preferably supported by a table top supporting assembly that is movable between an extended position and a collapsible position. Advantageously, the table top supporting assembly can be stored in the foldable table top when the picnic table is in the collapsed position. Desirably, each seat is supported by a seat supporting assembly that is movable between an extended position and a collapsible position. Preferably the seat supporting assembly is stored in a seat when the picnic table is in the collapsed position. The table top supporting assembly can further be folded into a fully folded position when the table top is folded to further reduce the size and dimensions of the picnic table when the picnic table is in the collapsed position.
