  • Patent number: 9335089
Abstract: A slide under shelf for a refrigeration appliance may be in a fully retracted position (i.e., with a second shelf area stored underneath a first shelf area) without having permanently extended support arms. That is, the retracted shelf may be extended by pulling out the second shelf area without requiring permanently extend support arms with a track or rail to support the second shelf area. Rather, the second shelf area has front slides that extend beyond the rear of a top surface of the second shelf area and ride along a track of support arms that do not extend beyond a top surface of the first shelf area. The support arms may also have posts that ride along a track on the front slides.

  • Patent number: 9174336
Abstract: An apparatus and methods for unloading panels. One example method includes receiving the panel on a table top. The panel is positioned on the table top to allow a worker to make an external surface inspection. The method further includes rotating a table flap extending from the table top from a first position to a second position to allow a worker access to a panel fixture in a stowed position. The method further includes moving the panel fixture from the stowed position to a load position and receiving the panel on the panel fixture. The panel is positioned on the panel fixture to engage a load sensor. In response to the load sensor sensing the panel on the panel fixture, the method further includes rotating the panel fixture from the load position to an unload position.

  • Patent number: 7752789
Abstract: An exemplary display device includes a support member, a pair of displays slidably attached to the support member, and positioning members disposed between the displays and the support member. The support member includes a straight slideway, and a curved slideway defined therein. The curved slideway includes a slanting portion, and a first straight portion and a second straight portion extending out from opposite ends of the slanting portion. The straight slideway is parallel to the first straight portion of the curved slideway and in line with the second straight portion of the curved slideway. The displays are slidably received in the straight slideway and the curved slideway respectively. The displays may be positioned to form a large screen, or slid to overlap leaving a single display visible.

  • Patent number: 7523905
Abstract: A keyboard support for movably supporting a keyboard with respect to a work surface of a workstation. The keyboard support includes a workstation engaging member adapted to be attached to an underside of the work surface, a keyboard engaging member for supporting a keyboard, and a linkage assembly mechanically coupling and providing relative movement between the workstation engaging member and the keyboard engaging member and thereby between the keyboard and the work surface. The keyboard support also includes a braking assembly adapted to allow relative movement of the keyboard engaging member with respect to the workstation engaging member in an unlocked position and to prevent relative movement of the keyboard engaging member with respect to the workstation engaging member in a locked position. The braking assembly comprises a roller assembly carried on a connector of the linkage assembly. The roller assembly is biased against a wedge affixed to a vertical side of the keyboard engaging member.

  • Patent number: 7028971
Abstract: An articulating arm is infinitely adjustable within a pre-determined range. A pivot arm has arcuate surfaces extending therefrom with a brake pivotally mounted to intersect a path of rotation of the arcuate surfaces. Two heat treated shoes provide the arcuate surfaces. The brake is a plate that is controlled to lock or unlock the pivot member relative to a bracket to which the pivot member is pivotally connected. A support is pivotally connected to the pivot member at an end opposite of the bracket. The brake is unlocked manually by forcing the support upward when the support is in a locked position relative to the pivot member.

  • Patent number: 6565055
Abstract: A keyboard supporting member has a generally planar keyboard support surface whose orientation is adjustable. A keyboard engaging member defines aligned incline defining slots on opposite sides of a center section. A second, workstation engaging member allows the user to move the keyboard back and forth with respect to a workstation. This allows the user to move the keyboard between a storage position and an in use position. A linkage interconnects the two members for adjusting a relative position of the keyboard engaging member with respect to the workstation engaging member thereby allowing the keyboard position and orientation to be controlled by the user. The linkage includes a first elongated member having one end rotatably mounted to the workstation engaging member which has an arcuate slot at one end spaced from the end that is connected to the workstation engaging member.

  • Patent number: 4616798
Abstract: An adjustable auxiliary work surface assembly which includes a shelflike auxiliary work surface which is suitably connected to one end of a linkage, specifically a parallelogram linkage. The other end of this linkage is in turn connected to a carriage which is suitably rollingly supported within horizontally elongated guide rails, the latter being fixedly secured to the underside of a primary work surface. The parallelogram linkage enables the auxiliary work surface to be vertically swung upwardly and downwardly. This parallelogram linkage has a manually actuated lock so that the operator can lock the linkage at any selected elevation of the auxiliary work surface. In addition, the carriage can be rollingly moved so as to position the auxiliary work surface in a desired use position adjacent the edge of the primary work surface.

  • Patent number: 4301745
Abstract: A table has a table top the height of which can be adjusted between an elevated position and a lower position so that the table can be used, for example, both as a billiards table and as a domestic dining table.Adjustment of the height of the table top is effected with a mechanism, incorporating a support member which can be moved from a retracted position into an extended position at which it acts to support the elevated table top on a support structure. This movement of the support member is effected on lifting of the table top by engagement of a cam follower with a cam surface. Lifting of the table top beyond the elevated position may act to return the support member to its retracted position via engagement of a further cam follower with a further cam surface.

  • Patent number: 4077335
Abstract: An extensible table has a rectangular frame with pairs of longitudinal beams and cross beams, a leg at each corner, and two draw-out plates which can be selectively stacked, and aligned in co-planar condition. The improvement is that each leg has a top recess in which is engaged a male portion of a shoulder element including an upper L-shaped portion defining a cavity to receive the cross beams. Roller means are on one arm of the L-shaped portion to carry the draw-out plates. Each longitudinal beam has on an inner face a mirror-image groove formation in which are received lateral rollers on the draw-out plates.
