Abstract: A refrigerator shelf includes a frame having laterally spaced first and second side members, each with respective first ends. A first substrate is received between the first and second side members, defines a first edge, and is directly supported on the first and second side members so as to be moveable along the first and second side members between an extended position with the first edge adjacent to the first ends of the first and second side members and a tucked position with the front edge spaced away from the first ends.

Abstract: A slide under shelf for a refrigeration appliance may be in a fully retracted position (i.e., with a second shelf area stored underneath a first shelf area) without having permanently extended support arms. That is, the retracted shelf may be extended by pulling out the second shelf area without requiring permanently extend support arms with a track or rail to support the second shelf area. Rather, the second shelf area has front slides that extend beyond the rear of a top surface of the second shelf area and ride along a track of support arms that do not extend beyond a top surface of the first shelf area. The support arms may also have posts that ride along a track on the front slides.
Abstract: An expandable table that has a frame, at least one leg supporting the frame, first and second top portions movably connected or interconnected to the frame, an intermediate top portion movably connected or interconnected to the frame, and a movement mechanism connected or interconnected to the frame. The movement mechanism is configured to cause the first and second top portions to move along a longitudinal axis of the frame. The movement mechanism is also configured to cause the intermediate top portion to move normal to said longitudinal axis of a plane of movement of said first and second top portions.
Abstract: The extensible table includes: a main surface (5) supported by a support base (3A, 3B; 3); a first auxiliary surface (19) and a second auxiliary surface (21), arranged underneath the main surface (5) when the table is retracted in a condition of minimum extension and coplanar and side by side to the main surface when the table is extended in the condition of maximum extension; a table extension mechanism. The extension mechanism includes two movable supports (15, 17) arranged side by side, each carrying a respective auxiliary surface (19, 21). The movable supports are supported and guided on the support base of the table for symmetrically and synchronously moving close and away the two auxiliary surfaces one with respect to the other during table extension and retraction movement. Each of the movable supports (15, 17) includes a lifting and lowering member (23A, 23B; 27A, 27B) of the respective auxiliary surface during the table extension and retraction movement.
Abstract: Table (10) with variable configuration comprising at least a frame (11) and a movement assembly (12), associated with said frame (11), for a main plane (13) and a service plane (14); such movement assembly (12) comprises two mechanisms (18, 19): a first mechanism (18) that acts on the main plane (13) to take it from a lowered position to a raised position, and a second mechanism (19) that acts on the service plane (14) to take it below the main plane (13) in such lowered position and adjacent to the main plane (13) in such raised position.
Abstract: A dual use desk for use with a monitor and keyboard, the desk having a retracting lid section conforming to a lid opening in the front edge of the desktop, the lid retraction mechanism consisting of the lid being hingedly attached to commonly available linear drawer sliders mounted at a rearward sloping angle below the desktop. The lid is retracted with a simple front edge tilt up, and slide back motion, to expose a lower level keyboard tray. The keyboard tray may be extendible outward as well, and may have an accessory tray attached, which is exposed for access when the lid is retracted and the keyboard extended. Alternative configurations permit a monitor to be located below desktop level, visible when the lid is retracted and the keyboard extended.
Abstract: A lift apparatus includes a folding frame assembly and a pair of support members which are connected to the folding frame assembly by a linkage. The apparatus is mounted on a coffee table base and is capable of an open position in which the table top of the coffee table is lifted to a height appropriate for a dining table. The support member supports a hinged leaf which increases the size of the table top when in the open position.

Abstract: An adjustment mechanism for adjusting the position of a surface relative to a first element includes a first arm having first and second members. One of the first and second members is pivotally mounted to the first element about a first axis. The other of the first and second members is pivotally mounted to a second element, having the surface thereon, about a second axis. The first member includes a first bore therein, and at least a portion of the second member is received by and is slidably movable within the first bore. A locking mechanism selectively restrains sliding movement of the second member within the first bore to thereby adjust the length of the first arm and vary the position of the surface relative to the first element.
Abstract: A piece of furniture comprises a stationary top as well as at least two leaves which, in the rest position underneath the stationary top, are disposed in parallel above one another at respective different planes and have guiding devices of different slopes. Each leaf is held by a supporting element whose areas situated outside the leaf contour do not intersect the path of the movement of at least one other leaf.
Abstract: An extension assembly increases the safety of bench or table-type machines without significantly reducing the mobility of the machines. The extension assembly includes an extension table, rigidly connected to a support surface of the machine, and a longitudinally adjustable support element connecting the extension table to the body of the machine. A self-adjust mechanism is provided which facilitates adjustment of the extension table of the extension assembly upon adjustment of the support surface. The self-adjust mechanism preferably includes a spring biasing inner and outer telescoping tubes of the extension assembly. Leveling assemblies may be mounted on the machine to increase its stability.
Abstract: A sewing machine table is presented having a first top section which is rigidly mounted to the table frame and a second section which abuts the first section in horizontal alignment when raised and which is rotatably affixed to the frame for movement away from said first top section. The sewing machine table can be used to sew flat goods with the first and second top sections in contiguous horizontal alignment. A pivotable mechanism allows the second top section to pivot away and downwardly from the first table top section for sewing more dimensioned goods such as baseball caps and the like.
Abstract: A rectangular open box frame supports a raisable tabletop center panel to which side leaves are hinged at the side. Levers hinge connect the side panels to the box frame. Pins projecting vertically downwardly from the bottom of the table center panel engage the box frame such that the table top center panel is raised and lowered and maintained horizontal, being driven by the hinged table leaves to form a raised center panel work counter of limited width or a dining table of reduced table height but with the end leaves pivoted to horizontal position coplanar with the tabletop center panel to increase the tabletop surface area.
