Abstract: A mobile recirculation grill platform includes: a stationary frame formed of modular frame segments configured to support a cooktop and internal grill components; a mounting slot defined on each of modular frame segments extending a length of the frame segment; and a mobile frame formed of modular frame segments and slidably connected to the stationary frame, the mobile frame configured to support a plurality of the internal grill components. The mobile frame is configured to slide in and out of the stationary frame. Each modular frame segment extends a length that is configured to be customizable, can be capped by a connecter positioned at each end of the modular frame segment and configured to mount within the mounting slot of another modular frame segment. Each connector includes protrusions spaced apart to define channels therebetween configured to engage and mount within the mounting slot of another modular frame segment.

Abstract: A fire table provides an aesthetic table surface while allowing for cooking over the fire using a removable cooking mount. The removable cooking mount is placed in a pan in an opening in the top of the fire table. The pan has a filler material to hide the burner assembly and acts to secure the removable cooking mount. A lazy susan can be used to cover the opening in the fire table when not in use for aesthetic and functional purposes.

Abstract: Collapsible combustion containers are disclosed and described. Such combustion containers generally include a plurality of vertically oriented panels joined by hinges. The hinges include hinge pins that can be configured to form at least part of a base that supports the container or at least part of a heating platform above the container or both. Further, the panels can contain one or more fuel openings which allow a user to control placement of fuel in the container inserted from each opening so as to select a point inside the container where the fuel will converge and combust.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an improved grill grate wherein an automated cooking oil system is incorporated into the design of said grill grate. The invention includes a grill grate that has a plurality of outlet holes that align the top surface of the grill grate. The invention also includes a cooking oil pumping system that is in connection with the grill grate.

Each panel includes a top edge and a bottom edge opposite the top edge. At least two of the plurality of panels each include a plurality of slits. The plurality of rods removably extend between two panels of the plurality of panels, each rod of the plurality of rods being inserted into a first slit of the plurality of slits formed in one of the two panels and a second slit of the plurality of slits formed in another of the two panels.

Abstract: A combustion chamber, having an upper part and a lower part, may include an annular constriction, in combination with the combustion chamber, to aid in directing partially combusted gases such as carbon monoxide away from the periphery of the combustion chamber back toward its center, and into the flame front. The annular constriction may also impede the flow of partially combusted gases located at the periphery, thus increasing the time these gases spend within the combustion chamber and increasing the likelihood that any products of incomplete combustion will undergo combustion. The combustion chamber may further comprise a dual burner cooktop for directing combustion gases and exhaust to multiple cooking vessels. In further embodiments, the combustion chamber may be made of, lined, or clad with a metal alloy comprising iron, chromium, and aluminum.

Abstract: A combustion chamber may include an upper and a lower chamber. The chambers may be separable to aid in loading fuel and removing spent fuel. The cross-section of the upper combustion chamber may be less than the cross-section of the lower section. Charcoal or other biomass fuel may be added into the lower combustion chamber and may be supported by a grate. Oxygen may be fed into the combustion chamber through a plurality of apertures that may be substantially shielded from direct line of site of the fuel bed. The upper combustion chamber may further include an annular constriction, to aid in constricting the view factor between the cooking vessel and the fuel bed. The constriction may also aid in radiating energy back to the fuel bed.

A burner plate is positioned above the burner and also above the base structure. When the stove is in use, a cooking surface may be placed on top of the burner plate. Multiple legs are connected to the base structure. The legs can be positioned in an extended configuration in which the base structure is positioned at a certain height above a ground surface. When the legs are positioned in the extended configuration, the height at which the base structure (and therefore the burner plate and any cooking surface that is placed on the burner plate) is positioned above the ground surface is adjustable without removing the legs from the base structure.

Abstract: An automatic temperature control device for solid fuel fired food cooker fueled by wood, charcoal, or other solid fuels which is capable of operation with any type of cooker without utilization of different sized blowers and conserves solid fuel usage. The present invention serves to regulate cooking temperature by controlling or optimizing the amount of combustion air reaching the fuel. The present invention also allows an outdoor barbecue grill or smoker of any reasonable size to be retrofitted with the invention in order to allow a chef to cook foods at stable and precise temperatures.

The devices include a starting fuel for preparing, or starting, a cooking fuel, such as charcoal briquettes, for use to cook food. A powered air delivery mechanism may provide an airflow to the fuels to increase combustion and heating thereof. In some embodiments, the device is a breach-loading device. In some embodiments, the air delivery mechanism is battery-powered. The device may be configured to provide, and/or may be automated to provide, different operating states responsive to the degree of ignition and/or combustion of the fuels in the device. In some embodiments, the device is adapted to automatically be transitioned between forced-air and natural-draft operating states, which may be controlled responsive to sensed operating parameters of the device.

Abstract: A portable stove includes a frusto-conical body and a grid carried within the body together with an optional cooking surface for the smaller end of the body and stands to elevate the larger end of the body to facilitate establishing an air flow into the body. By rolling a flat piece of metal that has folds on both ends until the folded ends are interlocked, the stove's body is formed. Squeezing the formed body releases it to return to a flattened configuration for storage. The components of the stove can thus be stored in a compact configuration such as in a backpack. An optional oven includes a cooking chamber within a housing. The oven rests on the body and redistributes heat from the burning fuel inside the body to the cooking chamber base, body and lid so that it bakes evenly. The housing confines the heat to the chamber for improved cooking efficiency.

Abstract: A campfire smokestack comprising an elongated metal tube whose lower end is anchored in a fire pit, for example by burying it in the ground, prior to making a fire, or by placing it into an existing fire. The tube has an open upper end, and its sidewall is perforated over some portion of its length with draft openings, at least some of which are at campfire height such that the fire is built against or adjacent these lower draft openings to permit radial drafting of air directly through the fire into the tube. The fire is accordingly built and burned around or against the lower end of the tube, rather than within or underneath the tube. The smokestack may be used with both natural and manmade fire pits.

Abstract: A campfire support unit for burning firewood. The unit has a metal frame that includes a metal support ring with metal tabs and support legs. The frame is made and arranged to support wood for a wood fire in a near-vertical ring position around a central core which contains wood supported in a near-vertical position. An internal core fire is started, using wood placed inside the metal ring. Then wood is leaned against the outer rim of the metal ring. The tabs support the wood leaned against the outer rim, preventing it from falling before, during, and after the outer wood is ignited by the internal core fire.

Abstract: A portable grill is described. The portable grill has a grill member, a frame, and a support arm. The frame supports the portable grill on a support surface. The support arm extends outwardly from the frame. The support arm has a distal end and a proximal end. The distal end is joined to the grill member. The proximal end is pivotally joined to the frame forming a fulcrum therewith. The support arm is pivotable about the fulcrum to raise and lower the grill member relative to the support surface while maintaining the grill member substantially level.

Abstract: An outdoor cooking apparatus is disclosed. The apparatus features a cabinet having a firebox that heats an oven interior within the cabinet. The firebox also cooks food items placed on a grill panel that is supported above the firebox with a grill support frame. The firebox and grill support frame can be removably attachable to the cabinet.

Abstract: A protective canopy housing (1) for a barbeque grill (2) having a canopy (6) with a vent opening on a top (22) with an elevated vent cover (8). The canopy is supported by supports (5a, b and c) attached to a grill by C-clamps (4a,b). The canopy housing can include side curtains (10a, b) which may be rolled up and secured along the sides of the canopy. The side curtains may include mesh and can be maintained in a down position during use to protect the users from insects. The curtains can be removably detachable. The canopy would preferably be made of heat-resistant material.

Abstract: A windscreen configured for use with a backpacking type of stove and a cooking container. The windscreen more effectively and efficiently directs the heat from the stove to the sides of the container so as to utilize less fuel to warm the materials therein, thereby reducing the weight to be carried by the user. In one embodiment, a plurality of adjustable lower vents selectively partially or fully open to control the wind allowed into the interior area of the windscreen so as to better transfer heat from the stove to the sides of the container. In another embodiment, adjustable support tabs at the upper end of the windscreen allow the user to adjust air flow out of the windscreen. In yet another embodiment, the upper end of the windscreen engages the sides or lip of the cooking container and air flows from the interior area through upper vent holes.

An extension member is provided that is fixed to and outwardly movable relative to the frame to provide support to the frame.

Abstract: A charcoal fired barbecue grill is described and shown herein. In one embodiment, a charcoal grate is disclosed which is formed from a sheet metal material. The charcoal grate includes a bottom wall and a plurality of side walls, The bottom wall includes a plurality of apertures to allow combustion air to reach the charcoal and a plurality of embossments to increase the structural rigidity of the charcoal tray. At least some of the side walls include side wall extensions which are configured to engage with the barbecue grill firebox to support the charcoal grate underneath the cooking grate. In a second embodiment, a charcoal grill firebox is disclosed which includes a dual purpose nesting target on an inside surface. The nesting target is not only configured to support a grate, it is also configured to nest with a corresponding nesting feature which is positioned on an outside surface of the firebox.

Abstract: A barbecue grill with a movable heater includes a main body having at least a rail, a heater movably resting on the rail, and a storing plate closable on the main body. The heater can be freely moved to and from above baking foods placed on a net to let a user operate conveniently and safely. And, with the storing plate closed on the main body, not only the heat can be kept in the main body to shorten baking time for saving energy, but also the well-baked foods and the frozen foods can be put on the storing plate for respectively keeping warm and being unfrozen to increase space.
