Abstract: The present invention is directed to a hookah hose, hookah system, and process for cooling hookah smoke in a hookah. The hookah hose includes a shank, a conduit, a mouthpiece, and a reservoir bearing a coolant cartridge. The shank permits the hookah hose to connect to a stem of a hookah generally or the hookah system of the present invention. The use of coolant cartridges permits a user to manipulate both wet smoke temperature and velocity.

Abstract: A hookah stem, hookah, and process for adjusting a hookah stem are disclosed. The hookah stem includes a down tube that is affixed within the hookah stem and longitudinally adjustable. The hookah utilizes the hookah stem with varying bases that may even include hookah bases with hookah base depths less than a potential plunge depth of the down tube.

Abstract: This invention is a simplification of existing traditional hookah pipe function and is a new design eliminating the need for four or more existing component parts by condensing the function of these multiple component parts down into two interlocking glass composite parts. This invention simplifies assembly and disassembly, and cleaning of the main hookah pipe by having fewer and more accessible parts. This invention seals at the base of the inside of the bowl section and at the top of the ground joint section of the water stem to prevent the leakage of tobacco, smoke or other contaminates from entering into the main hookah pipe from the bottom of the hookah bowl. This product also allows an all glass product to be used in place of traditional mixture of parts and components made of various materials. A stem has a base and a neck. The base defines an interior plenum, and a passage extends through the neck and terminates at the interior passage. A burner cup is mounted to the stem in communication with the passage. The interior plenum has a size and shape to permit the stem to be coupled to the bottle by placing the base over the neck, with a bottom edge of the base resting on the collar of the bottle. A sealing element is disposed between the exterior surface of the neck of the bottle and the inner surface of the interior plenum to provide a substantially air-tight coupling.

Smoke passes into the second stage housing and through circular second stage then first stage disposable filter medium packets held into place by the filter housings. A method of pressing the lips against the mouthpiece portion seals off the inhalation tube opening and frees both of the user's hands so that one hand can support the water pipe while the other ignites and reignites the burned substance.

The various bowls are independent from each other and spaced apart so that the heat from one does not affect the others. The spacing of the bowls also protects the user from burn injuries while replacing the tobacco or charcoal in each bowl. The smoke from each bowl is directed into a stem tube where it is mixed before being filtered and cooled by water in preparation for consumption. Each tobacco bowl can be connected to a flow control device that allows the user to fine tune the amount of smoke from each bowl and achieve the preferred flavor.

A smoker begins smoking through the smoking hose. Abstract: A smoking tool includes a pipe body, a holder and a control valve. The pipe body has a top opening, a bottom wall, and a smoke storage chamber for containing a filtering agent. The holder, which is detachably supported at the pipe body, includes a cup for holding a predetermined amount of herb scraps such as tobacco to be burnt therein. The control valve is operatively provided at a bottom portion of the pipe body for discharging the filtering agent from the smoke storage chamber in a controlling manner, wherein when the control valve is opened for discharging the filtering agent from the smoke storage chamber to create a suction effect therewithin at the same time that the herb scraps is burnt to generate smoke, the smoke is sucked into the smoke storage chamber through the smoke guiding tube and is filtered by the filtering agent.

Abstract: A smoke conditioning and filtration system is disclosed. The system mixes smoke created from a burnable substance, such as tobacco or other herbal substances, with liquid vapor. This causes expanding of the inherent hot gases and moisturizing and cooling of the smoke, thereby creating a more pleasurable smoking experience. The system also conditions the smoke produced from tobacco or other herbal substances by filtering out a portion of the particulates and congeals a portion of the oil contained within the smoke. Furthermore, the system blows smoke from a spout, eliminating the need to put one's mouth on the spout, thus creating a more sanitary smoking experience.

Abstract: The present invention is an improved tobacco hookah or water pipe, comprising a water reservoir, a smoke and vapor collection chamber, and a flexible hose through which smoke and vapor may be inhaled. In this improved hookah, water used to filter and cool smoke and vapor also serves to draw smoke and vapor into a smoke and vapor collection chamber using a hydraulic pressure gradient, also known as head, relieving an operator of the necessity of personally creating a vacuum or negative pressure needed to draw smoke and vapor into a smoke and vapor collection chamber, and capable of attaining substantially greater vacuum or negative pressure than is possible with ordinary inhalation. In addition this improved hookah permits an operator to control and vary the vacuum or negative pressure so created, so controlling the rate at which smoke and vapor is drawn into the hookah, and thus the rate and temperature of tobacco combustion.

Furthermore, a smoking mixture fabricated by the invention is first formed in a plurality of basic regularly shaped constitutions. The basic constitutions are compacted to obtain a pre-shaped form of the smoking mixture that is assembled with a screen receptacle to be smoked. Hence formed, the pre-shaped smoking mixture has a size that is reduced and a shape that can be varied, thereby allowing various forms of packaging and economical smoking.

The smoke tube is positioned one hundred eighty degrees from the cigarette and has a telescopically-extended configuration that positions a flame source a safe distance from a user's face.

Abstract: A self-extinguishing pipe is described for use with tobacco or other smoking material. The pipe is made in two parts, a body and an endpiece, and holds a filter internally. The endpiece includes a reservoir for the tobacco or other smoking material at one end which has an adjustable base for changing the depth of the reservoir. The two-part construction and adjustable base facilitate cleaning of the pipe, replacement of the filter, and removal of ash without needing additional tools. The depth of the reservoir is adjusted by rotating an inner component of the endpiece in relation to a surrounding cowl. Various bores through the body of the pipe and the components of the endpiece communicate with each other so as to form an air passage from the smoking material to the mouth end of the pipe, thereby allowing smoke to be drawn into the user's mouth.

Operation as a water pipe is thereby effected.

Abstract: A filter adapter for use with a waterpipe comprises a closure cap with a cutout; a spigot tap with a cylindrical sleeve, an integral port, a cylindrical base with male threads, the port providing communication between the sleeve and the base; and a ventilated filter cartridge containing a filter medium, preferably silica gel granules. The closure cap is frictionally engaged over the smoke passage of the waterpipe. The spigot tap, having been threaded into the cutout of the closure cap, effects the seal between the spigot tap and the smoke passage. The diameter of the sleeve on the spigot tap is a predetermined diameter to allow frictional insertion of a filter cartridge. A ventilated filter cartridge preferably containing silica gel granules as a filtering medium is frictionally engaged into the open end of the sleeve. The spigot tap provides communication between the filter cartridge and the smoke passage.

Abstract: A tobacco water pipe for smoking loose leaf tobacco, the tobacco water pipe having a base and an elongated tube, the elongated tube being removably interlocked to the base of the tobacco water pipe. To removably interlock the base and the elongated tube, the base of the water pipe has a seat member which is at least partially embedded into the base of the tobacco water pipe and the elongated tube has a sleeve member which is affixed to the lower most portion of the elongated tube. The seat member of the base is configured to receive the sleeve member of the elongated tube. The sleeve member alone, or in connection with a collar member, is designed to interlock with the seat member, securely fastening the elongated tube to the base of the tobacco water pipe.
