  • Patent number: 11103043
Abstract: A care instrument arranges one or more driving components, each corresponding to a storage container stored with a care product which can be used for caring or adding aroma for the user. Each driving component takes out the care product from the corresponding storage container and transports it to the surface of the housing through one or more outlets. A control component controls the driving components to deliver the care products to the surface of the housing in a timed and quantitative manner for precise delivery of the care products. A massage component is operated in synchronization with the driving components so that the care products are transported to the surface of the housing and uniformly dispersed by the massage component for easier application to the face or the body, thereby effectively improving the user experience.

  • Patent number: 8118036
Abstract: A dispensing device, having a hollow nipple-shaped stopper configured to act as a one-way valve, for use as a hair dyeing comb is provided. The nipple-shaped stopper has an aperture at its tip end. The aperture opens toward outside when the operator compresses the plastic bottle and closes when the operator releases the plastic bottle. When the aperture is in its closed position, the stopper prevents the liquid hair dye already in the conduit from flowing back to the plastic bag inside the bottle. The purpose of using the stopper here is to keep the air out of the dispensing system in order for the operator to pump the liquid dye efficiently. The stopper and a small aperture at the bottom of the plastic bottle are replacing the one-way valve currently used in many hair dye-dispensing devices. With interchangeable comb heads, the operator can choose the proper comb head for his hair type and different application purpose.

  • Patent number: 5261427
Abstract: A lice comb device constructed as a portable, hand-held housing containing a blower heater, to heat and direct a stream of heated air toward a set of comb teeth attached to the housing. Each of the comb teeth is formed with a hollow cavity having an opening at its end. The heated air stream is directed via the comb tooth and exits at the opening, where it is deflected away from the scalp by a concave surface, so that it impinges on lice and lice eggs attached near the hair root. The temperature of the heated air destroys the lice and lice eggs. An exterior cooling jacket portion surrounding the interior housing portion provides a thermal barrier by conducting the flow of cooler air, allowing for safe handling of the comb housing. A chemical or natural agent may be placed in a receptacle in the housing, so as to introduce vapors in the heated air stream, with the vapors directed via the comb teeth to improve the lice-killing effects.

  • Patent number: 4913172
Abstract: A comb structure that includes a handle, and a hollow housing having a number of hollow teeth extending away from the handle. Communicating cavities in the handle and housing provide storage for a liquid ointment that can infiltrate out through holes at tip areas of the teeth. The comb structure can be drawn through fur on a live animal (pet) or fur on a leather pelt, such that the ointment is directed onto the skin surface of the animal or leather pelt, so as to prevent skin diseases or provide lubrication against fur loss or leather cracking. In one form of the invention the handle is adjustably connected to the tooth housing so that the structure can be used either in rake-like fashion or in comb-like fashion.

  • Patent number: 4462413
Abstract: Appliances for the partial dyeing of hair are intended, for example, to serve for dyeing individual strands of hair, in order to achieve stylish effects as a result of the color contrast. To ensure that the appliance is mastered even by less experienced staff and that dyeing is simplified and speeded up, the appliance has at least one guide prong (14), which is provided in its interior with a dye-feed bore (16) and on at least one side, spaced at a distance from the prong end (19), with at least one peripheral dye-outlet orifice (21). The appliance also includes a dye container (3), which is connected to the dye-feed bore (16) of the guide prong (14) and out of which the dye can be expressed by means of pressure, and at least one masking prong (22) which is located spaced at a distance from the guide prong and covers hair not to be dyed and which is located, approximately transversely to the working direction of the guide prong (14), next to the latter.

  • Patent number: 4323085
Abstract: An apparatus for treating (e.g. dyeing) hair, utilizing a treatment liquid which is a mixture of several components, has a cylindrical container with an open end to which an attachment with a hollow comb structure for the discharge of the liquid mixture is threadedly secured. The discharge is effected by the release of a spring-loaded piston inside the container from a retracted position. To mix the several components, a perforated disc may be axially reciprocated in the container between the piston head and the attachment; the disc may have a stem passing through the hollow piston rod to the outside and terminating in a manipulating knob which in one embodiment may be rotated relatively to the piston into a position wherein the perforations of the disc are aligned with similar perforations of the piston head so that mixing is accomplished by joint reciprocation of that head and the disc.

  • Patent number: 3961635
Abstract: An applicator and device for depositing and distributing a liquid on the hair is disclosed which has a flexible supply reservoir, a cap portion attached to the reservoir, and a comb tooth support member attached to the cap portion, the comb tooth support member having several comb teeth attached thereto. By manually squeezing the flexible supply reservoir, the hair treating liquid is forced through passage ways through the cap portion, the comb tooth support member and through passages in each of the comb teeth. The exit passages of the comb teeth are located approximately at the mid-point between the ends of the comb teeth. This allows the application of the liquid to the hair without the liquid coming into direct contact with the scalp. The comb teeth may be individually attached to the comb tooth support member, or may be attached to a common base which is, in turn, attached to the comb tooth support member.
