The cartridge includes an ultrasonic transducer with micro-perforations configured to transform the liquid into a dispersion of droplets, and an outlet configured to deliver the dispersion of droplets, through a delivery cavity situated in at least one of the heating plates, to discharge ports distributed over a surface of the heating plate.

Abstract: Hairbrushes that dispense liquid are disclosed herein. In some embodiments, a hairbrush system includes a brush body, a bristle support layer, and a liquid container configured to store a liquid. The bristle support layer includes a plurality of apertures and supports a plurality of bristles extending outwardly from the brush head. In some embodiments, the hairbrush is configured to transfer the liquid from the liquid container into a chamber defined by the brush body and the bristle support layer. In operation, the hairbrush transfers the liquid from the chamber through the plurality of apertures and into the bristles when the bristle support layer is compressed.

Abstract: This invention discloses a liquid dispensing hair brush for dispensing hair oil from a plurality of holes disposed on the top plate of the brush portion. The device further includes a handle portion with an elongated cavity that houses one or more oil chambers. Each oil chamber has a front end that is operationally coupled to a valve mechanism that controls the flow of oil into the brush head. The brush portion can be removably attached to the front end wall of the of the handle portion. Additionally, each oil chamber can contain different oil.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for cleaning surfaces of an object. A platform may be moved along a path relative to the object using a robotic device. A liquid may be applied onto the plurality of surfaces of the object using an applicator associated with the platform. The liquid may be worked into the plurality of surfaces using a plurality of cleaning elements associated with the platform to dislodge undesired material from the plurality of surfaces. A plurality of flexible members may be moved along the plurality of surfaces to dry the plurality of surfaces and remove the undesired material from the plurality of surfaces. An airflow may be generated that moves the undesired material into a vacuum duct in a vacuum system.

Abstract: An oral care implement for dispensing an oral care agent includes a housing, reservoir therein containing an oral care fluid, and an electrical circuit comprising first and second electrodes connected to an onboard power source. Each electrode is in contact with the oral care fluid in the housing. An actuator, operably coupled to the power source, is configured to both selectively energize the circuit and activate dispensing of the oral care fluid. An electrical charge is applied to the oral care fluid by activating the actuator when dispensing the oral care fluid. When the fluid comprises a peroxide based tooth whitening agent, the dispensed fluid pH is increased by the electrical charge which improves the efficacy of the whitener. In one embodiment, the implement is a modular system including a powered base unit and one or more interchangeable cartridges each having a reservoir containing an oral care fluid.

In some embodiments, for a majority of the teeth, a cross section of each tooth (for example, triangular in shape) has an asymmetric width profile such that the tooth cross section, on average, is narrower near the top of the tooth and wider near the bottom of the tooth. In some embodiments, a ratio between: i) a first average tooth width describing the average tooth width below the top-bottom midpoint; and ii) a second average tooth width describing the average tooth width above the top-bottom midpoint is at least 1.2, or at least 1.6. The container has a pump for ejecting an amount of the solvent through the tubing. A lever attached to the body is provided for activating the pump. In use, a strand of extension hair is placed within the jaws of the removal tool, the lever is pressed to eject an appropriate amount of the solvent through the tubing, and pressure is applied to the hair extension with the jaws of the tool to weaken the attachment, until the bonding material is sufficiently dissolved and the extension hair is detached and removed.

Abstract: A massage comb is disclosed for applying ointments directly to the scalp of a person. The comb consists of an upper and a lower section with the lower section having hollow teeth with openings at the bottom of each of the teeth. The comb may be constructed of bamboo so that the ointment may penetrate through the bamboo material and apply the ointment to the strands of the hair. The upper and lower section are fastened to each other by way of dove tail system to allow easy access for the ointment to be filled into the lower section.

Abstract: An applicator nozzle may comprise an attachment portion configured to attach the nozzle to a receptacle configured to contain a product and an arrangement of at least two teeth disposed so as to form at least one row comprising first and second end teeth. At least one of the teeth of the arrangement may define a channel configured to be placed in flow communication with product contained in the receptacle. The channel may open on an exterior of the at least one tooth via at least one outlet aperture facing substantially in a direction of at least one adjacent tooth. The nozzle may further define at least one groove and the outlet aperture may open into the groove. The groove may extend from the outlet aperture substantially to a free extremity of the at least one tooth. The arrangement may be formed by a single molded piece and may be configured so as to present an obstacle to product flowing from the at least one outlet aperture beyond the first and second end teeth.
