Abstract: An array of non-thermal plasma emitters is controlled to emit plasma based on application of an electric current at desired frequencies and a controlled power level. A power supply for an array controller includes a transformer that operates at the resonant frequency of the combined capacitance of the array and the cable connecting the array to the power supply. The power into the array is monitored by the controller and can be adjusted by the user. The controller monitors reflected power characteristics, such as harmonics of the alternating current, to determine initiation voltage of the plasma and/or resonant frequency plasma emitters. The array of non-thermal plasma emitters may be used in therapeutic, diagnostic, and/or medical sanitization applications, such as to prevent, limit, and/or treat the development of diseases caused in humans by infectious agents.

Abstract: A brush comprising a housing having an opening at which there is a pad and bristles. The housing defines an interior space and a handle. In the interior space, there is located a fluid reservoir, a pump assembly having a pump cylinder tube and plunger, and a piping array which are airtight and fluidly connected to one another. In a preferred embodiment, a plurality of silicone, duckbill ejection valves are provided at the ends of the piping array and are positioned on the pad among the bristles. To enable movement of fluid from the reservoir to and out of the ejection valves, an actuator lever is provided and adapted to be operated by a user. The actuator lever is adapted to move between a first position and a second position, creating a pumping action to dispense fluid through the ejection valves.

Further, each tine alternates in length so as to allow the comb to access varying depths of a portion of tangled hair. A bladder is disposed within the interior of the handle, wherein the bladder can store and selectively release liquid into the head of the comb. In use, the bladder is actuated or pressed, wherein liquid is forced outward therefrom, into the tines, and out through the apertures, such that the hair is wetted with water or untangling liquid as the user combs through tangled hair.

A lever handle is pivoted onto the comb body and includes a ratchet arm pivotally engaging the lever handle and meshing with the plunger rod rack teeth. When the handle is manually pivoted the plunger rod slides linearly forward, and compresses the cartridge forcing the separate compounds to flow between selected comb teeth. A mixer, in fluid communication between the cartridge and the teeth, forces the separate compounds to blend together highlighting a person's hair in a spaced relationship when the comb is drawn through ones hair and the lever is manually compressed simultaneously.

A body is attached to the first elongated member and houses a solvent container therein. A tubing extends from the container to an opening on an inside surface of one of the jaws. The container has a pump for ejecting an amount of the solvent through the tubing. A lever attached to the body is provided for activating the pump. In use, a strand of extension hair is placed within the jaws of the removal tool, the lever is pressed to eject an appropriate amount of the solvent through the tubing, and pressure is applied to the hair extension with the jaws of the tool to weaken the attachment, until the bonding material is sufficiently dissolved and the extension hair is detached and removed.

Abstract: A dispensing device, having a hollow nipple-shaped stopper configured to act as a one-way valve, for use as a hair dyeing comb is provided. The nipple-shaped stopper has an aperture at its tip end. The aperture opens toward outside when the operator compresses the plastic bottle and closes when the operator releases the plastic bottle. When the aperture is in its closed position, the stopper prevents the liquid hair dye already in the conduit from flowing back to the plastic bag inside the bottle. The purpose of using the stopper here is to keep the air out of the dispensing system in order for the operator to pump the liquid dye efficiently. The stopper and a small aperture at the bottom of the plastic bottle are replacing the one-way valve currently used in many hair dye-dispensing devices. With interchangeable comb heads, the operator can choose the proper comb head for his hair type and different application purpose.

The dispenser retains and separates two hair dye components until they are to be mixed immediately prior to application of the dye. The two containers are permanently secured together via a valve assembly. When the valve assembly is in a closed position, the interior chambers and therefore the contents of the containers remain separated. When the valve assembly is opened by rotating one of the containers through 180 degrees, the two interior chambers are in fluid communication and the contents can flow between the containers to form a hair dye mixture. Abstract: A dispensing brush for dispensing a predetermined fluid on a head of hair. The dispensing brush includes a reservoir located within the brush head for retention of the predetermined fluid. The reservoir is in fluid communication with openings located on the top surface of the brush. The openings are centrally aligned on the top surface of the brush, and are located among the bristles of the brush.

Abstract: A hair treatment applicator head includes first and second elongate body members. That first body member has a handle portion at a first end and a first treatment surface proximate a second end. The treatment surface bearing a fluid absorbent material. The second body member has a flange for engagement with a treatment fluid supply at a first end and a second treatment surface proximate a second end. A fluid path extends through the body from proximate the flange to a plurality of apertures on the second treatment surface. The first and second elements are hingeably engaged to allow the first and second treatment surfaces to be brought into proximity each other.
