Patent number: 10624435Abstract: A curling iron contains: a body, a fitting sleeve, a plug, and multiple clampers. The body includes multiple rolling ribs arranged in a stepped shape and includes two stop portions. Two opposing rolling ribs on two peripheral sides of the body respectively do not flush with each other and are separated. The body also includes an orifice and a hollow portion, wherein the hollow portion has two retaining slots. The fitting sleeve includes two locking portions corresponding to the two retaining slots of the body. A diameter of the plug is equal to that of the orifice of the body, each of the multiple clampers includes a fixing portion and a clamping portion, and the fitting sleeve is fitted into the hollow portion of the body. The plug is accommodated in the orifice of the body, and each clamper clamps the body.Type: GrantFiled: June 5, 2017Date of Patent: April 21, 2020Inventor: Chin-Chun Yu

Patent number: 9259044Abstract: The present invention relates to a package for a hair product having hair strands which include curls. The package includes a substantially planar panel for mounting the hair product thereto. The panel is elongated along a longitudinal axis. The package also includes a plurality of forms attached to the panel. The forms are arranged on the panel and spaced from each other along the longitudinal axis. Each of the forms has a curved portion for engaging and maintaining a corresponding set of the curls of the hair strands of the hair product.Type: GrantFiled: January 14, 2015Date of Patent: February 16, 2016Assignee: Shake-N-Go Fashion, Inc.Inventors: James K. Patent number: 8636015Abstract: A permanent hair wave device including a hollow first rod, having a length-adjustable arm disposed on a proximal end thereof, and a second rod parallel to the first rod, the second rod having an inner end attached to an internal wall of an internal wall of the arm proximal to an outside end thereof with an opening disposed between the rods. The rods can have a same or different diameter. An elastomeric band longitudinally engages each of the rods. Each band has an attachment end disposed on the arm and a cap end that sealingly engages a cavity within each rod. Hair strands are wrapped around the rods in a FIG. 8 configuration and the bands secure the hair strands against the rods during the application and processing of the permanent hair wave solution. Apertures and holes disposed in each of the respective rods and bands evenly distribute the solution.Type: GrantFiled: May 23, 2012Date of Patent: January 28, 2014Inventor: Crystal D. Brley

Patent number: 6047704Abstract: A multi-comb hair-curler which has a body which includes a plurality of combs. One of the combs has pyramidal or conical teeth whose tips are distant from the body, with the teeth including at least once along their length, and on their opposite face, a narrowing which forms an open channel arranged between two adjacent teeth. The cross section of the channel is a circle or a polygon, the axis of which is perpendicular to that of the tooth and to that of the body which creates channels for retention of the ends of tie hair. The hair-curler further includes at least one comb with polygonal teeth of constant thickness without narrowing, with the combs being spaced alternatively in an equiangular manner to provide respectively, a comb with retention channels, and then a comb without retention channels.Type: GrantFiled: November 24, 1998Date of Patent: April 11, 2000Inventor: Giuseppe Giordano

Patent number: 5626156Abstract: A hair styling system for use with a forced air electric hair dryer constitutes a coupler having a tubular section for receiving the end of an electric hair dryer. This section supports a smaller axially aligned concentric tubular section, with the two sections attached to one another by angularly disposed spacers. Apertures between the spacers permit air to flow over the outside of the smaller tubular section of the coupler. The unattached end of the smaller tubular section extends beyond the larger section and is tapered inwardly toward its central axis. Additional parts of the system include elongated hollow tubular bodies which are closed at one end and open at the other. The open end has an outwardly flared nozzle receiving flange for fitting over the tapered nozzle from the smaller tubular section of the coupler. The tubular bodies have spaced apertures through them at predetermined intervals along their length and about their periphery.Type: GrantFiled: April 24, 1995Date of Patent: May 6, 1997Inventor: Gary L. Patent number: 5119846Abstract: An apparatus for waving the hair comprises a pair of snap-together complementary pieces made of resilient plastic. The pieces when fitted together define a sinuous or swirled path between them. When the pieces are snapped together over a strand of hair, the strand is held in a sinuous waving shape for imparting a "perm". A first piece includes a cylindrical roller and two partial cylindrical cages, resembling those used in ordinary hair rollers except for their mutual attachment and the angular cut from each cage. The second, mating piece includes one cage and two rollers. In both pieces a cage is tangentially attached to a roller at two places. Each roller or cage on one piece mates to a respective cage or roller on the other piece. The pieces snap together by forcing the middle roller of the first piece between the two rollers of the second piece into the cage of second piece; the two rollers of second piece simultaneously snap into the two cages of the first piece.Type: GrantFiled: May 15, 1991Date of Patent: June 9, 1992Inventors: Nermine Tadrous, Nasser Diab

Patent number: 5042513Abstract: A hair curler for providing a variable curl on human hair is disclosed. The hair curler comprises a first elongated portion that is situated for wrapping receipt of hair. This first elongated section has a cross-sectional area A that is substantially constant over a length of the first elongated portion. A second elongated portion extends axially from the first portion and is situated for wrapping receipt of hair therearound. The second portion has a cross-sectional area B that differs from cross-sectional area A. Cross-sectional area B is substantially constant over a length of the second elongated portion of the curler.Type: GrantFiled: February 21, 1990Date of Patent: August 27, 1991Inventor: Keith D.
