Abstract: The Towel Back is a towel with a headband and a waterproof liner that lays across the shoulders and back of a user. The headband allows the towel to be kept in place without holding it with one's hands. The towel portion absorbs the water from the wet hair, but the waterproof liner prevents the wet hair from seeping through the towel onto the user's back or shirt. Because of the unique features of the Towel Back, the Towel Back allows a user to go about their activities while their hair dries naturally and prevents the user's clothing (shirt, pajamas, etc.) from getting wet. For those who go to sleep with their hair wet, the Towel Back can also serve as a protector between the wet hair and a pillow.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a hair retainer for a helmet. The hair retainer comprises a helmet mounting portion configured for mounting the hair retainer to a back edge or an underside of the helmet and a hair retaining portion locatable at an underside of the helmet in a hair retaining configuration for retaining hair thereat whilst a user is wearing the helmet.

Abstract: A hair cap may create and/or enhance natural hair curls and/or preserves and/or adds hair volume without using, heat, chemicals, or expensive equipment. The hair cap may include a headband attached to a firm inner platform/rim surrounded by an attached cloth which may be formed of microfiber. The cloth may be wrapped around the user's head and then secured using an attachment mechanism to hold curls on top of the user's head with the curls resting on the platform. The top portion of the hair cap or bonnet may be open so that it does not depress down on the user's hair or head. This may allow better overall curl formation and volume. The opening also may facilitate personalized shaping and styling of the hair.

A rear panel is coupled to the rear edge of the hood. A pouch is defined within the rear panel for receiving the hair of the individual. A first tether is coupled to the first side edge of the hood. A second tether is coupled to the second side edge of the hood.

Abstract: Implementations of a hair cap are provided. In some implementations, a hair cap may be used to protect the hair of a wearer while they sleep and/or shower. In some implementations, a hair cap comprises a head portion, a pocket portion, and an opening. In some implementations, there may be an elastic band located about the periphery of the opening. In this way, the material about the opening of the head portion may be pulled against a wearer's scalp to potentially prevent water or other liquids from entering the interior of the hair cap. In some implementations, a fastener may be provided on the head portion and another fastener on the pocket portion of a hair cap. In this way the distal end of the pocket portion may be attached to the head portion thereby holding a wearer's hair off of their shoulders and back. In some implementations, silk may be used to manufacture the hair cap. In this way, the wearer's hair is protected from breakage.

Abstract: A hat includes a first and second overlapping panel in the rear of the body and an elastic band. The overlapping panels each comprise an arcuate edge. When overlapped, the arcuate edges define an aperture. An elastic band attaches to the arcuate edges and transitions from the first arcuate edge to the second arcuate edge in a looping manner. When a wearer pulls her hair through the aperture, the aperture increases in size. Once the wearer's hair is pulled through the aperture, the aperture decreases in size and provides a secure fit around the wearer's hair. The elastic loop supports the long hair upwards in a manner that prevents the hat from riding up or the hair from falling onto a rear brim.

Abstract: A headwrap provides fastening mechanisms for covering, protecting, and retaining the hair of a wearer. A fabric panel forming the headwrap may be defined by a head covering, a crown circumscribing the head covering, and a tail extending rearwardly from the crown and having an internal volume able to contain and cover the hair of the wearer. Left and right straps affixed to a base of the tail enable a wearer to tension the straps about the crown to tighten the head covering over the head, tying the straps off at the front of the crown. A loop affixed to a terminus of the tail enables a user to draw the tail forward and hang the loop off a button affixed about the crown on the forehead.

Abstract: A constricting hair cap includes an elongated, generally cone-shaped body having a crown section, a middle section and an open bottom end. An elastomeric band is positioned along the bottom end, and a plurality of drawstrings extend upward from the bottom end through an aperture located on the crown section. Each of the drawstrings are positioned within a channel that is located inside the main body and are connected to a cord stop that is positioned adjacent to the aperture along the outside of the main body. Each of the drawstrings are positioned evenly along the main body and function to transition the main body between an extended position and a constricted position upon receiving a pulling force.

Abstract: Presented is a hair restraint which is placed on a user's ponytail to assist in keeping the ponytail tangle free during sleep. The device includes a drawstring, a drawstring lock, and may be utilized with a headband which gathers the hair and holds it into a ponytail while the device is attached. The ponytail can be formed in the back of the users head or more towards the top of the user's head to provide less of an obstruction while the user is sleeping.
