Abstract: Methods are provided for fabricating electrochromic devices that mitigate formation of short circuits under a top bus bar without predetermining where top bus bars will be applied on the device. Devices fabricated using such methods may be deactivated under the top bus bar, or may include active material under the top bus bar. Methods of fabricating devices with active material under a top bus bar include depositing a modified top bus bar, fabricating self-healing layers in the electrochromic device, and modifying a top transparent conductive layer of the device prior to applying bus bars.

Abstract: A device and method for protecting the nails on a hand or foot from discoloration during a skin tanning process. The device is a one-piece “nail glove” configured to only cover the distal ends of the fingers or toes, while leaving the rest of the hand or foot exposed for the skin tanning process. The glove, which may be produced in the form of a low-cost disposable unit, is made from one or more materials, preferably UV resistant, and in some embodiments also biodegradable. The glove will be applied to the tips of the fingers or toes prior to the skin tanning process, kept on during the skin tanning process, and then removed afterwards. Ventilation openings allow airflow and can be formed to be both functional and decorative. The first paint type is a water-based, non-toxic acrylic paint and the applicator means atomizes the paint to apply a plurality of droplets to the exposed nail. Abstract: The invention is a tool set to use in cosmetic area to cut acrylic powder, to create or design the moon curves, arch lines, and borders, to set different colors and styles of full set or refill of the acrylic nails. The invention is operated and used after the method and process of applying acrylic powder, a mixture of monomer liquid and polymer powder mixed together to sculpture the nail bed for artificial nail enhancement. The invention has several individual shovel sizes that are best match to different fingers to create a natural-looking moon curve and various arch lines design. Each individual shovels has a shovel head and an elongated handle that are constructed together in a single element. Each shovel head is arched upward and convex curve which is attached to the opposite end of the elongated handle.
