Having Powder Dispenser Patents (Class 132/298)
  • Patent number: 11737544
Abstract: A container for loose powder, having a well defining a well volume, a side wall surrounding the well laterally to define an upwardly closed powder chamber extending circumferentially around the well, and a bottom member cooperating with the well and the side wall to close the lower ends of the well volume and the chamber. The bottom member and at least a part of the well are relatively rotatable between positions in which the well and bottom member cooperatively prevent passage of powder from the chamber to the well volume, and in which at least one gap opens to permit limited passage of powder from the chamber into the lower end of the well volume. A lid closing the well volume is removable to enable an applicator to transport powder from the well volume to a location outside the container.

A contamination guard plate is coupled to the coupling groove of the discharge plate so as to block most of the outlet of the cooling plate while leaving only a discharge gap. The contamination guard plate blocks the outlet of the cooling plate, excluding the discharge gap, so as to prevent bacteria or contaminants from entering the outlet from the puff, and the cooling plate, which is made from the metal material, lowers the temperature of the discharged cosmetics.

  • Patent number: 11246391
Abstract: A container for storing and dispensing loose powder has a jar, a multitiered sifting-dispenser, a dispenser slot, and a closure plug. The multitiered sifting dispenser is a rigid frustum-shaped divider that separates an interior cavity of the jar into two compartments. The dispenser slot traverses from a first compartment to a second compartment by passing through the multitiered sifting-dispenser. As a result, cosmetic powder that is stored in the first compartment can be dispensed into the second compartment and subsequently deposited onto the multitiered sifting dispenser. The closure plug serves to plug the dispenser slot. To accomplish this, the closure plug is held into place by the jar lid.

  • Patent number: 9204704
Abstract: A powder applicator includes a base housing with a protruding brush and an opening into a cavity for storing powder beads. A body housing opening creates a chamber that transitions into a chute having a second smaller opening for delivery of powder. A filter partitions the chamber into grinding and delivery chambers, which are interconnected by selectively sized holes therein. Bristles of an applicator brush are secured about the chute. The base housing is rotatably secured to the body housing, with the first brush extending into the grinding chamber to thereby grind powder beads received therein into a powder. The first brush contacts the filter member and causes doffing of formed powder through the holes and into the delivery chamber. A cap having a cantilevered post snaps onto the body housing to protect the applicator brush when not in use, with the post's end plugging the delivery opening.

  • Patent number: 5638839
Abstract: A refillable cosmetic case has a base with a recess for a releasable tray held in place by a tray retaining cover hinged in the base and having a latching element. The case lid has a rear edge and is hinged to the base at an edge opposite the tray cover hinge, and the lid rear edge can be associated with the tray to assist in its removal whereby when the lid is opened beyond its usual limit of travel the rear edge releases the latching element and thus the tray retaining cover. The cover pivots back on its hinge, so the tray can be lifted out and refilled or replaced.
