Abstract: A container for loose powder, having a well defining a well volume, a side wall surrounding the well laterally to define an upwardly closed powder chamber extending circumferentially around the well, and a bottom member cooperating with the well and the side wall to close the lower ends of the well volume and the chamber. The bottom member and at least a part of the well are relatively rotatable between positions in which the well and bottom member cooperatively prevent passage of powder from the chamber to the well volume, and in which at least one gap opens to permit limited passage of powder from the chamber into the lower end of the well volume. A lid closing the well volume is removable to enable an applicator to transport powder from the well volume to a location outside the container.

Abstract: A compact container having a contamination-preventing cooling plate, includes: a discharge mechanism, inside the compact container, for discharging cosmetics; a discharge plate having a discharge hole and a coupling groove formed in the center thereof; and the cooling plate, which is coupled to the upper part of the discharge plate, has an outlet formed in the center thereof, and is made from a metal material. A contamination guard plate is coupled to the coupling groove of the discharge plate so as to block most of the outlet of the cooling plate while leaving only a discharge gap. The contamination guard plate blocks the outlet of the cooling plate, excluding the discharge gap, so as to prevent bacteria or contaminants from entering the outlet from the puff, and the cooling plate, which is made from the metal material, lowers the temperature of the discharged cosmetics.

The multitiered sifting dispenser is a rigid frustum-shaped divider that separates an interior cavity of the jar into two compartments. The dispenser slot traverses from a first compartment to a second compartment by passing through the multitiered sifting-dispenser. As a result, cosmetic powder that is stored in the first compartment can be dispensed into the second compartment and subsequently deposited onto the multitiered sifting dispenser. The closure plug serves to plug the dispenser slot. To accomplish this, the closure plug is held into place by the jar lid.

A body housing opening creates a chamber that transitions into a chute having a second smaller opening for delivery of powder. A filter partitions the chamber into grinding and delivery chambers, which are interconnected by selectively sized holes therein. Bristles of an applicator brush are secured about the chute. The base housing is rotatably secured to the body housing, with the first brush extending into the grinding chamber to thereby grind powder beads received therein into a powder. The first brush contacts the filter member and causes doffing of formed powder through the holes and into the delivery chamber. A cap having a cantilevered post snaps onto the body housing to protect the applicator brush when not in use, with the post's end plugging the delivery opening.

The compact may have an open position and a closed position. In the closed position, the cover may apply a downward force on the inner portion, compressing the gasket against the sifter and creating a seal to isolate the loose powder.

Abstract: A cosmetic powder container includes a container for receiving cosmetic powders, a makeup tool for applying the cosmetic powders out of the container, and a soft press disc for moving the cosmetic powders in the container to the makeup tool. The container includes a top end having a first opening. The container further includes a bottom end having a through-hole. The soft press disc is coupled to the bottom end of the container and seals the through-hole. The makeup tool is mounted to the top end of the container. In use, a user can directly press the soft press disc to push the cosmetic powders to eject out of the container and adhere to the makeup tool mounted to the top end of the container instead of touching or grabbing the cosmetic powders. The whole procedure is very convenient and sanitary.

The cover pivots back on its hinge, so the tray can be lifted out and refilled or replaced.
