In general, examples of systems described herein generally include a sifter positioned above the cosmetic powder with apertures configured for bi-directional pass-through of cosmetic powder. In some examples, the sifter is dome-shaped with a concave upper surface. To manage accumulation of cosmetic powder on an upper surface of the sifter, a sweeper projection is provided to collect cosmetic powder on the upper surface and direct the cosmetic powder toward the apertures of the sifter for pass-through back into the container. In this regard, accumulation of cosmetic powder on the upper surface of the sifter is managed, limiting waste and mess during use of the cosmetic powder.

Abstract: An applicator device for a loose substance, in particular a cosmetic substance such as a cosmetic powder, comprising at least one housing having a storage compartment for the substance and a handle portion on which is disposed an applicator which in the closed condition of the applicator device is arranged in the interior of the housing in the direction of the storage compartment, wherein a wall of the storage compartment, that is towards the applicator, is provided with passageways for the loose substance, and there are provided devices for producing at least one impact on at least one part of the storage compartment so that a part of the loose substance can be loaded on to the applicator through the permeable wall of the storage compartment by metering impacts.

Abstract: Disclosed is a cosmetic powder appliance. The cosmetic powder appliance includes a powder receptacle including a lower powder receptacle and an upper powder receptacle having a cylindrical section and a stepped section formed at an upper portion of the cylindrical section, in which the stepped section is formed at a center portion thereof with a passage hole, the cylindrical section is detachably coupled to an upper portion of the lower powder receptacle in such a manner that the lower powder receptacle is covered with the upper powder receptacle, a puffer including a puffer head provided at an upper surface of the stepped section and formed at a center portion thereof with an exhaust hole communicated with the passage hole and a puffer cover for covering the puffer head, and a valve unit installed in the puffer head in order to selectively open the passage hole only when the puffer touches a predetermined cosmetic area.

The support plate 33, of which coupled with the discharge guide 40, is elevate up by the expansion power of the cone type resilient member, the inside hole is clogged by the closing jaw ring 27. Thus, the powder can not discharge. The cone type resilient member is press and/or expansion, and can freely or semi-automatically control the discharge and intercept of the powder.

Abstract: Disclosed is an improved powder case capable of efficiently dispensing contained powder. The powder case comprises a storage member 30 having a storage portion 31 for containing powder and a bellows portion 32 for enabling contraction/expansion of the storage portion 31; and a puff 40 coupled to a first end of the storage member 30 and for absorbing powder therefrom and discharging the same to the outside. A covering cap 50 is coupled with the puff 40 when the powder case is not used to prevent leak of powder and to protect the puff 40 from moisture. The puff 40 is made of a porous material such as sponge to facilitate penetration of powder and to provide soft touch to the skin. The powder case can efficiently dispense powder under compressed air obtained through contraction/expansion of the bellows portion in order to facilitate the use thereof. Since the bellows portion is contracted while the puff is contacted against the skin, powder can be efficiently discharged in compressed air.
