The core presents spines formed integrally therewith and situated on the segment outside the furrow.

Abstract: The applicator for cosmetics has one or more plies with scoring to form a handle area and a sample area. The scoring upon the top ply guides the applicator to bend into a handle area grasped by a woman's fingers and the sample area has a slight bow to apply eye shadow or other powdered cosmetic as the woman sees fit. The sample area has embossing in the bottom ply to retain pre-deposited cosmetics for further sampling.

Abstract: The present invention generally relates to a cosmetic applicator and in particular, relate to a cosmetic applicator comprising of at least two molded applicator parts that are interlinked such that a non-zero angle is formed at an interface of the at least two molded applicator parts with respect to a centerline of the applicator. The cosmetic applicator of present invention imitates the twirl of the wrist during application and thereby provides a better application. The cosmetic applicator of the present invention may be used for cosmetic and care applications such as mascara application, hair coloring, lip application, etc.

Abstract: A system and method for the application of a skin care product including a special applicator termed a fingerlette, a spatulette and a palette. The spatulette is used to transfer a skin care product from a its native container to the palette which is then dapped or patted by the fingerlette which transfers some of the product to the adsorbent surface of the fingerlette which is then applied to the skin for even application. Because all product is transferred to the skin, the system is especially advantageous for conservation of costly skin care preparations.

Abstract: Provided is a swab 1 in which a fiber lump portion 2 is disposed at one end or both ends of a stick 4, and an adhesive layer is disposed partially or entirely on the surface of the fiber lump portion 2, and a flocked layer 3 covering the adhesive layer is disposed by flocking fiber thereon in a brush shape. The swab 1 has a soft texture and excellent elasticity, and also has superior fluid retention performance and fluid release performance. Therefore, the swab is suitable for taking biological specimens, applying chemical agents to the affected parts, cleaning human bodies or equipment (for example, ear cleaning), applying cosmetic materials, or the like.

The applicator is a single-piece molded unit formed of a single material and includes a slim, tapered head portion, having an arcuate configuration. The head portion comprises a support and at least two rows of projecting tines integrally molded therewith. The tines extend transversely away from one side of the support relative to the longitudinal axis of the head, the opposite side of the support being smooth and free from tines. The arcuate and tapered shape of the support facilitates the application of cosmetic product to the eyelash fringe including the shortest eyelashes located in the corners of the eye.

Abstract: It is an object of the invention to provide an effective technique for realizing a desired moisture releasing property, in a cosmetic puff having an air-laid non-woven fabric sheet formed of pulp fibers. A cosmetic puff 100 according to this invention includes an inner layer 110 in the form of a sheet and surface layers 120 in the form of laminated sheets on the both sides of the inner layer 110. The inner layer 110 is formed by an air-laid non-woven fabric sheet containing at least pulp fibers and polyethylene terephthalate fibers.

The applicator has a closure having a closure surface facing the backbone surface, and a pair of clips, each clip including a first arm, a second arm, and a pivot attached to the first arm and the second arm. A first holder is attached to each of the first arms to releasably attach the backbone to the first arms. Further there is a second holder attached to each of the second arms to releasably attach the closure to the second arms. The relative length of the tips determines whether the cosmetic foam applicator is soft tipped, firm tipped or medium (soft or firm) tipped. Abstract: An applicator system for applying eye shadow is provided that includes flexible body, which may be a bundle of bristles, having a proximal end secured to a handle, and a distal end having a concave shape that is substantially complementary to a portion of a closed eye lid. The concave shape is asymmetrical so that one end of the bristle bundle extends farther out than the other end to facilitate the application of make-up under the brow region and in the corners of the eye area. Eye make-up is preferably applied to the concave brush by a convex-shaped pad of eye shadow in the shape of a cylindrical section having a convex profile that is complementary in shape to the concave profile of the distal end of the bristle bundle.

The invention discloses an adjustable applicator comprising an applicator element having a bore, a filament wherein the filament is housed inside the bore of the applicator element and a clasping means wherein the applicator element angularly deforms when a force is applied on the clasping means such that the angular deformation occurs on the radial axis of the applicator element. Also disclosed is a device for packaging and dispensing a substance comprising said adjustable applicator.

Abstract: An assortment of color applicators apply cosmetic colors to specific regions of the user body including an instant eye shadow applicator, instant blush applicator, instant powder applicator, instant eye brow applicator, instant eye concealer, lip liner, eye liner, mascara, nails and deodorant applicator, instant lipstick applicator, instant hair applicator and musk applicator. All of these applicators apply color directly to bare user skin or on top of an already colored area of user skin. Each application includes a soft color carrier sheet, impregnated with a pre-measured amount of cosmetic material optionally fortified with vitamins, moisturizers and different application pigments. The various applicators of the system include carrier sheets in a variety of sizes, shapes, color combinations and types, which are sufficiently inexpensive to be disposable. The carrier sheet can be cut into unique shapes to help apply cosmetic material easily to normally hard to reach blending areas of the body.

Abstract: A cosmetic patch for testing and evaluating a cosmetic product. The patch comprises a top surface colored and textured to match that of a user's features, preferably that of their lips. The reverse side of the patch comprises a weak adhesive surface to temporarily bond to the user's hand, forearm, or other object. When the user deposits a sample of the cosmetic product onto the textured surface of the patch, the user may then compare and evaluate the look of the cosmetic product on their particular features, for example their lips, without having to actually place the cosmetic product on their features and thus prevent the spread of contagious diseases and maintain costs at a minimum for the cosmetics vendor.

Abstract: The present invention provides a pencil-form cosmetic composition which has a good stability at high temperature, an excellent smoothness during application, and an excellent long-lasting property, and also provides a cosmetic product thereof. The pencil-form cosmetic composition comprises (a) 15 to 50% by mass of volatile oil, (b) 5 to 25% by mass of heavy liquid isoparaffin, and (c) 5 to 30% by mass of rice wax.

This applicator also has the cosmetic sample retained within projections upon the top ply that separates from the bottom ply affixed to a card or magazine page. If the CPU sends a signal to the applicator to treat the surface, the motor is activated to move the applicator to the keratinous surface such that the ribbon contacts the keratinous surface near the protrusion to apply a portion of the first modification composition to the keratinous surface that was read by the sensor.

Abstract: Cosmetics applicators are disclosed, which can be fabricated easily with reduced manufacturing cost. The application bodies are connected by a connection means and extend in an axial direction, wherein the front end portions of the application bodies protrude from a container and are capable of applying cosmetic materials. Therefore, the front end portions can be aligned easily, and it would be otherwise very difficult for the front end portions to be aligned due to being subjected to a resistance from, for example, a cotton core upon their insertion into the container in a disorderly state. The shaped edge allows careful positioning and covering selected areas without contact to areas to be avoided. The makeup shield may be held in place with an adhesive disposed on the shield at the arcuate edge or recessed slightly to permit a protective cover without the presence of the adhesive to change the makeup to be protected. Thus, the present invention will allow the user to avoid tugging at delicate under eye area to remove unwanted makeup and smearing, and frees up the user's hand from holding tissues under the eyes to catch makeup powders and the flaking of makeup.

The first portion is in fluid communication with the interior of the container and contains a first cavity that is preshaped in the form of the image to be applied. The first cavity is formed adjacent a first side of the screen. The second portion is located on an opposite side of the screen and contains a second cavity that is also preshaped in the form of the image to be applied, whereby the shape of the gel composition is preformed in the first cavity and is maintained as the gel composition passes through the screen and fills the second cavity for application onto the hair as the image.
