  • Patent number: 8215323
Abstract: A conveyor-type warewash machine includes a housing through which racks of wares are passed along a conveyance path for cleaning. A rack drive system includes a rack engaging structure that moves back and forth in first and second directions. When moving in the first direction, the rack engaging structure moves an adjacent rack forward along the conveyance path. When moving in the second direction, the rack engaging structure leaves the adjacent rack substantially stationary. The drive system is configured to move the rack engaging structure in the first direction at a first average speed and to move the rack engaging structure in the second direction at a second average speed. The second average speed is faster than the first average speed so that the adjacent rack spends more time moving forward than being stationary. A seal assembly may be provided about a drive shaft of the drive system.

The pressure washer (36) is detachably connected to frame element (15) or the wall area (4) and has a ring groove (48) with a preferably elastic sealing ring (49), which seals the wall area (4) provided with the gas-exchange openings (5) against the frame element (15). To prevent a shifting of and/or damage to the filter sheet during a clamping process, the pressure washer (36) can be pressed against the wall area (4) by a spring washer (35).

Abstract: An apparatus for wet treatment of an object includes a treatment bath in which an object to be treated is received and treated; a plurality of object supporting rods rotatably installed in the treatment bath and having a plurality of slots formed in surfaces thereof to support an object so that the object stands in a direction perpendicular to a bottom surface of the treatment bath; and a rotating means connected to the object supporting rods to rotate the object in a circumferential direction by rotating the object supporting rods. Treatment fluid injecting holes for injecting a treatment fluid to the object and treatment fluid channels for supplying the treatment fluid to the treatment fluid injecting holes are formed in the object supporting rods. Thus, a dead zone in the treatment bath is removed and the treatment fluid may flow uniformly and smoothly, which improves treatment efficiency and treatment uniformity.

Abstract: The invention is directed toward a brine injector for sanitizing a condensate drain to reduce sludge and pathogens. The bring injector, which attaches to a spray assembly within the condensate drain, supplies brine (23.3% sodium chloride and 76.7% hot water) into the a saddle valve of the spray assembly. The brine injector may include a brine reservoir having a polyethylene non-corrosive coating, a pump to draw brine out of the brine reservoir, and a filter casing. The filter casing is coated with a polyethylene interior lining. Filter casing further includes 15-micron nickel copper alloy weaved filter cloth. The brine reservoir may include an electric heater to heat the brine prior to injection. A main controller communicates with the treatment chamber and spray assembly. Such main controller is capable of engaging the spray assembly to disperse a sufficient quantity and pressure of hot water within the shaft to dislodge any sludge.

Abstract: After a liquid chemical treatment is finished, in parallel with a washing away treatment and/or a drying treatment, by spraying from a nozzle for a cleaning liquid supplied by a cleaning line to an outer surface of a nozzle for a liquid chemical, crystals and the like of components of the liquid chemical adhered on the outer surface of the nozzle are removed. In the cleaning treatment, a spraying time of the cleaning liquid is five seconds to ten seconds. In addition, the components of the cleaning liquid is not specifically limited, however, since ammonium phosphate tends to be solved in purified water, if a liquid chemical containing ammonium phosphate is used, it is preferable to use purified water as the cleaning liquid. Depending on the components and the like of the liquid chemical, a solution that can solve the crystals and the like may be used in stead.
