Abstract: A cleaning method for a substrate processing system capable of appropriately cleaning a housing chamber. In the substrate processing system, the number of execution times of product processing is accumulated, if the product processing to be executed next corresponds to first product processing for a subsequent lot, a time interval between preceding and subsequent lots is not longer than a predetermined time period, and a type of the last product processing performed for the preceding lot is the same as that of the first product processing to be performed for the subsequent lot. When the accumulated number of execution times is not less than a predetermined number of times, a cleaning treatment is executed, which corresponds to a chamber indicated in a system recipe set for a lot including a wafer on which the product processing is performed immediately before execution of the cleaning treatment.
Abstract: A cleaning system and method for cleaning heat transfer surfaces in a boiler using a temperature measuring system for measuring and monitoring wall temperature of an annular wall of the tube of a lance of one or more sootblowers. Controlling a flow of steam or other fluid through the tube during the cooling portions of the strokes based on wall temperature measurements from the temperature measuring system. Infrared or thermocouple temperature measuring systems may be used. The steam or other fluid may be flowed at a default flowrate that may be substantially zero until the temperature measuring system indicates the wall temperature of the annular wall begins to exceed a predetermined temperature limit which may be the softening point of the annular wall. Then the steam or other fluid is flowed at a rate greater than the default flowrate.
Abstract: An appliance has a dispensing device that is configured for self-cleaning. In one embodiment, a flow regulator is fluidly connected to the dispensing device. The flow regulator has a first state in which a washing fluid is dispensed into the dispensing device and a second state in which the washing fluid is evacuated therefrom. To facilitate cleaning, the washing fluid flows through a spray device that is configured to direct the washing fluid onto a peripheral wall of a compartment in which an additive for the dispensing device can be disposed.
