The canopy includes a flexible membrane having a membrane edge and a canopy fastener coupled to at least a portion of the membrane edge and configured to mate with an interconnecting member fastener. The one or more interconnecting members include an interconnecting member body defining a first longitudinal edge and a second longitudinal edge, an attachment member, and the interconnecting member fastener attached to the interconnecting member body along the second longitudinal edge and configured to mate with a plurality of different canopy fasteners.

Abstract: The invention relates to a car roof tent that attaches to the roof bars and offers storage space for the user's luggage in a compartment that is an integral part of the roof tent but which offers two means of access: external access and internal access. When the tent is closed, the user gains access from the outside to his luggage situated inside the compartment through a separate cover (3). Since the compartment part is integrated, the user also has access to it from the inside when the tent is open (tent cover (2) open) and he himself is inside the tent. He is therefore not obliged to keep going in and out between the inside of the tent and the vehicle, where his luggage would otherwise be stored. Moreover, given such a compartment, the luggage is available without clambering over the inhabitable space or through the tent sleeping area. The compartment may be on the opposite side or on one of the sides of the entrance of the roof tent.

Abstract: A portable shade canopy or awning is specially adapted for personal vehicles. Supporting members are made of strong, lightweight and inexpensive material such as aluminum alloy, plastic, or composite; and the canopy material itself preferably is either soft and paint protective or other inexpensive material with paint-protecting material on the underside and with four grommets disposed in a generally rectangular configuration. An easily detachable clip is installed on each of four windows in a generally rectangular configuration. This is easily accomplished through use of clips having recessed reliefs that fit on the tops of the window glass so that when the windows are rolled up (i.e., closed), each clip is set firmly in place. Four detachable legs are provided to provide principal support for the canopy. The bottoms of these legs are disengageably attached to mating parts of the clips and thus are firmly supported.
